I saw a video on how to convert FS9 aircraft into fsx,but what about FSX into fs9?Is it possible?

Hey!I was wondering for a long time now,is there any sort of colour filter i can use on fs2004?I have done some research using google,i didnt get the results i wanted.So now it's time to ask.Right,i saw the famous video of the most realistic fs2004 video ever done so far made by aymanus. Unfortinatley the great effect is only a video edit,but out of interest,is there any way of filtering colours in order to bring this type of effect to life?

Hi thereI have just recently got myself a new computer with Windows 7 installed.I have installed FS9 and it appears to be running OK.I have also installed my payware Carenado and Aerosoft aircraft and they are working OK.However, my Eaglesoft Piper Twin Commanche crashes the sim each time I attempt to fly it. Although it worked fine on my previous XP setup.I am guessing that it may include some gauges that are not compatible with Windows 7. But I don't really know.Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea how to resolve the problem.Appreciate your reply.trevorbee

Recently I started to have this issue. While flying the sim pauses and then I get these weird textures. I then have to minimize and bring it back up for the textures to load normally. Anybody know how to fix this?FS9Win XpAMD Phenom II X2 555Nvidia 9800 GtASv6.5REX

Is there an easy way to determine which objects are for Rwy12 and which are for EZ Scenery in a static object library? The reason that I'm asking is that over the years I've found that I've mixed up both versions of objects in one of my static object libraries. The other day I installed a scenery and mistakenly thought that it would use an EZ Scenery version of an object which was updated from a Rwy12 object. Needless to say, the scenery didn't find the EZ Scenery version and I discovered that I needed to have both objects in separate libraries on my system.So in lew of reinstalling every static object that I have, I would really love to know if there is a way to determin…

Ok I thought I would give these forums a shot first just because Avsim is so busy, anyways I just reinstalled fs9 again on my W7 64, I have three separate hardrives C (OS, track ir installed on this drive) D (fsx drive) E (fs9 drive) trackir works fine when I fire up fsx, but when I fire up fs9 nothing, Im using trackir v4 and v4 of the software aswell, this has really got me confused.

Dear All,I wonder if anyone can help me. I've noticed that the lights on the AI aircraft FMAI BAe146 are not in the correct position when I see the aircraft in FS9. They are either displaced forwards or are back to front. Has anyone else noticed this, and if so, do you know how to get it fixed?I've also noticed this on the AIA Aardvark Boeing 767-300.Best regards,Peter Keenan

I have the PSS Dash 8-300 on a cd. I purchased it from Just Flight. When I attempt to install the product onto my C: drive where my FS2004 program resides I keep getting a message that says, "Please insert the correct cd". I went to Just Flight's support web site and it said to install an update to the program. It says when the error message appears to eject the cd, run the update, then reinsert the cd and the program will install. I thried everything I could think of and had no luck. Can anyone out there assist me in this endeavor? Any useful tips would be appreciated. …

I'm deeply ashamed to ask this question after 6 years of using FS2004 but ... Mesh & Landclass: which one determines the shape of the land, that is, makes the hills and mountains and the general lay of the land look more realistic? And can someone recommend one for the UK, Netherlands and Ireland? :(

Just one of those stories I had to share to make everyone feel that little bit better about themselves!!!Sitting here 3 nights ago changing my setup from FS to my G25 wheel for a little racing. In the process I managed to knock my GoFlight Landing gear Trim module off the desk cracking the USB connector clean off the interface board. After a little playing around with the soldering gun I realized it was a lost cause. I immediately went and ordered a new one from one of the FS stores with overnight shipping for $199 and like a bonehead tossed the entire old unit in the trash in frustration WITHOUT taking the unit off the Mini Rack first... Hello,So I just finished watching the last season of "Lost". It was a pretty cool show. I was doing some searches around the internet maybe hoping to find some scenery that someone has made for the "Island". I know there is a runway that was built during the show and shows up in season 5. Does anyone know if this has been created?

I have recently noticed that while flying into or taxiing around busy airports FS9 gets a little steppy...Nothing strange about that you might think...But!When I press ctrl z twice to bring up the frame rate counter the steppiness stops immediately and the Sim runs as smooth as pie...Anybody else noticed this before???Now I am wondering if there is anyway to run the counter without the red script up above which can be annoying after a while?

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the default textures used by AFCAD/AFX when building a new airport? The concrete and asphalt textures are okay but the grass ones are especially awful - a flat, monotone green that looks like an aenemic pool table! Some of the others aren't too hot either. It's really frustrating to build a pretty decent looking airport using AFX and Instant Scenery only to have the wrong Landlcass files giving you cultivated fields, trees and roads within the boundary of the airfield. If there was a decent grass texture, you could cover it over easily using AFX. But the defaults look pathetic! Any suggestions? I guess one solution is to chang…

Hello everyone,I have some sound problems with FS2004. It seems that not all sounds are played. For example I'm missing touchdown-sounds on all aircraft, as well as some sounds from the engines.When I check all sounds available in the sound folder of an aircraft (i.e. Wilco A320 with TSS Soundpack), I can listen to much more sounds than I actually hear when I fly the aircraft, no matter what sound pack I use. Especially the touchdown sounds are completely missing in the sim, although the files are there. Also, when I listen to the "preview"-wavs of other sound-packs, it sounds much better with a lot more "details" etc. ... The FS sound is a little "flat"... I have the fe…

I just posted the following to the Cloud 9 forum, but wondered if anyone else out there had the same problem with their LAX or any other scenery? If so, did you find some sort of fix for it, or conflict with it? This is a totally awesome scenery package when it works. I can't seem to find a really decent LAX that isn't Hi-Res stuff. For me, HI-Res looks good from the air, but on the ground it is terrible seeing aircraft, runways, taxiways and ground equipment painted on the tarmac. HI, can anyone help me?I am interested in getting the 747-400 Queen of the Skies ( for FS2004 ) or 747-400 Version X ( FSX ). I would like to know the differences and does it mean that i only got to buy any of the software i mention and i can start using it or do i still need to buy FS 2004 or FSX. If so where can i buy them or where can i download for free? Cause i also dont known whether my computer can support? Does anyone have a new computer that has BOTH FS2004 and FSX running on it? If so, please advise how the computer is configured to run both. I understand that Windows 7 will not run all FS2004 programs well on a Windows 7 (64bit) machine, but runs FSX very well. jerrycwo4

Hi, I am really new to this "Bloom effect" thing and was wondering where could I start at when asking questions on problems (or how to properly install it for that matter.)? I have tried installing it as recommended in download, but FS9 refueses to load citing a dirver problem.
