Hi, Was wondering where could I find how the whole weather system workis FS? I wonder if you coudl set up a grid of weater stations and feed it real time. Seems to me that way you could even conceivably make a s big weather system like a hurricane or follow fronts correctly...Macs

I have the RCbo-20 installed along with the F14,Ver. 10_07 for Dino Cattaneo's F-14B upgrade to REV D Rev 4 12/3/06 >> by SDHI also have the E2c and the E6b.On all these a/c the cat and the arrestor all work fine.The Meatball Hud is present and switches on But IT NEVER TURNS GREEN. It always has the red cross.I have searched every forum I can find but nobody ever seems to have the same problem.I tried to follow all the installation docs to the letter and as the cat/arrestor work fine I must have done something right but the Meatball escapes me!!Does anybody have any idea where I should be looking??Many thanksPanda

Hi,I have tried to log this on the Eaglesoft forums but its taking forever to get an account configured so i thought i would try here.I purchased the Eaglesoft Citation II plane and the install went without any problem. But when I load the plane, it has its own special GPS but it does not show any maps as it says its a jefferson system which expired in 2002.I cannot find anything in the documentation about how to get to to work but would have thought it would have been part of the aircraft so cannot undersand why it would say expired?Has anyone seen this before?Thanks

Hi,Has anyone found a way to merge these panels (i.e. use the CLS a330/a340 panels with the Posky a/c)?The problem I have is that oddly in the 2D overhead panel (with CLS and Posky) I get either the Fuel panel or the Electrics panel, not both. If the flight starts (I begin 'cold & dark') with no Electrics switches on the 2D overhead panel, I can't start the batteries etc.! In the CLS a/c, I can go over to the VC cockpit, where the full overhead panel (with both fuel and electrics) always shows, and turn on the switches there. In a Posky a/c with the CLS panel, the switches in the VC are all non-functioning. So I can't start the elctrics.Any ideas? Thanks..Martin

I was wondering,instead of wasting my time trying things out,deleting,and then blocking up my hardrive,what are the best environmental addonsFor fs2004?Appart from Real environment Xtreme.I have bought ultimate night environment pro.(If that is a waste of money tell me) but what other environment enhancers are there?I have heard of AES(Airport enhancement services),Zinertek world environment,fsexcel,flight environment,genx and so on.What would you guys suggest?

Does anyone know where I can find a good repaint for the Feelthere ERJ-145 V2 in American Egale ERJ-135 colors? I know McPhat had a repaint at one point but I can't get the link to work. Thanks!Markus

Hi,I use FS9 with Traffic2005 which gives me plenty of traffic and I would not want to change it for anything else now. But when yu look at the big irons at an airport, the quality is not so good and lets down the look compared to some of the excellent airport add-ons we have been getting recently.Is there a way to change the 3D aircraft models for AI traffic but keep using the same texture sets and AI timetables? I know it may impact on FPS a little but to have AI aircraft that look almost as good as your own plane would make it look much more realistic?thanks

HI I sure would appreciate some help.I have just completed installing FS9 and all payware on a new computer. Do to all the payware having to be installed this took a few days. With all that done I think I have a problem or conflict with UTUSA and/or Ground Environment (installed GE last). I noticed when flying around areas it appears there is no autogen present at least as I remember on the old computer. Example: around KSEA. I no longer see any of the cranes and buildings from the airport in route to the city. Everything just looks flat but not blurry. However, if I disable UTUSA form the scenery library and restart, all of my buildings, cranes, ships etc. are presen…

I have been considering picking up one of the Flight Planing Tools but am not sure which one to go with. I've been rebuilding my EZ-Scenery and Rwy12 static object libraries and have found that many authors have included both XML and LMT files with their libraries. In the interest of understanding and simplifying the massive task of managing the library content, what are these files used for? Are they simply for the object placer program to create new objects to later be compiled into a static object library? Are they necessary for any purpose when actually flying? As I usually fly short/medium haul flights (FS9) I don't often get OoM CTDs - apart from occasional ones caused by faulty scenery/landclass, which I can usually fix myself.However, if I try flying long-haul (Dublin to Atlanta today), with an a/c which uses up a lot of system resources (PMDG for instance - beautiful as they are) I can get two or three OoM errors before I arrive at my destination.I have FS9 on a pretty good machine, with 2GBs of RAM. (I also have FSX but never use it - much prefer FS9 with all my addons). If I change my OS from XP to Windows 7 64-bit, but keeping the same RAM (which has always tested out just fine with MemTest etc. - I don't think XP/FS9 wo…

First off its been a few years since I have been able to really put anytime into flying so I am alittle out of touch. I lost me old gaming computer to a hard drive crash and along with that all my flight sim addons payware and freeware and so out of frustration and lack of real time I gave it up. My wifes sister gave us a computer and after a deployment to Iraq I sat here and said I bet this thing will play FS9 and sure enough it would. I have recently noticed lag whilst playing fs2004.Only when in large airports such as;Heathrow (UK2000 Heathrow Xtreme V2)Frankfurt (Aerosoft Mega Airport Frankfurt)Amsterdam (Aerosoft Mega Airport Amsterdam)I have lots of AI aircraft with very HI-RES textures and models and I'm also running the sim at full graphics settingsI realise that this would be why flight sim tends to lag in the larger airportsHowever, i opened my task manager and ATI CCC to view the stats whilst running the flight sim.My GPU sits at about 60% and CPU at only 25% whilst doing an approach into Heathrow and it lags terribly.I was wondering if there is a way to force flight sim to use more CPU and GP…

My lastest flight computer is still having OOM errors. An error msg says that it is out of AVAILABLE memory. This computer has 4 GB of memory and the Devise Mgr/Hardware says that it has 1.5 GB of AVAILABLE memory. Some questions PLEASE if you can answer them.1. If the computer has 4 GB of memory why does it only have 1.5 GB of available memory ? 2. Can this amount of 1.5 available memory be increased? How?3. Where is this available memory stored and is it only used or used UP?4. If it's used up where does it go?5. Hi allJust went back to my Singapore scenery (Samsoft The Very Singapore - why is it called that??) prior to installing Imaginesim WSSS and discovered something odd had happened to the coastline around the city with buildings etc in the sea!
