Hello, i am having a complete computer reboot crash while taking off on MSFX. I can fly all day with nominal video settings when i start in the air, however when i start a mission on the ground (even on the lowest possible settings), it will load fine and i can sit on the runway with no problem, but almost instantaneously after i start throttling for take off the computer reboots. This happens reguardless if i am using max throttle or incremental throttleing, when im using my joystick, my yoke and throttle, or my keyboard. i do not get any error any stuttering, i have a solid framerate. it only happens on the runway 0-2 seconds after hitting the throttle. i am running win…

Hi guys,I finally just got my new desktop and after hours of addons being uploaded I was finally on the runway for a flight and well it all went smoothly, until after about 3 mins into flight when I changed from full screen mode to windows view and the screen just went black, all I could hear was the sounds but nothing else.Anybody have solutions to this? I started having some problem a few weeks back, FSX and other games minimize randomly. I can click the task bar icon and resume the flight, FSX doesn't crash. I run FSX with Admin rights, themes and desktop composition disabled. I have tried disabling Avast anti-virus and it still happens. I will start up it will always make it to the main menu, but at various points either in a flight or while messing with the menu it will crash. I am running an i7 2600 3.2 ghz 8gb of ram, 2TB of hard drive space creative soundblaster xifi extreeme gamer, ATI 5870. I did recently have a virus, but everything else runs fine and has no problems and I took care of the virus. Ok, let me start by saying that I am not affiliated to this company in any way.I bought a custom made rig from a reliable firm who made sure it was running on all cylinders before I collected it.The only things I have installed are FSX, Rex, PMDG 747-400 (FSX) and some custom scenery.In four months I never made a take off and landing in the same flight. When trying to connect to RWW I sometimes cant and I get the following error:The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000005) occurred in the application at location 0x7d64f0f3.After that FSX will shut-down. The kicker is that I dont always see this and seems to happen for no apparent reason. I have tried no firewall or antivirus to no avail. Again this doesnt alway happen. One other thing I noticed is that when I click HOME is the main startup screen (the tab that takes you to the FSX website) I will get the same error. Gentlemen, I could need your advice.When I start FSX for the first time of the day, or when I added scenery, the first start of the program takes extremely long (up to 10 minutes).All my cores idle, FSX seems to hang, but it really doesn't - it just takes unbelievable amounts of time. Hi all,I'm having a CTD problem when using FSX in full screen, and then deciding to switch tasks (to go to desktop to start a weather program, tweak a system setting, etc). When I click back to FSX, I must click several times and wait, however sometimes FSX never comes back and I have to restart. I'm also having a crash to desktop problem when I select FSUIPC options and go back and fourth. I'll click "accept" after having tweaked FSUIPC, then FSX will crash. I'm not sure if I am able to see what is causing the crash because the "program is restarting" window comes up, and unlike windows XP, you can't see the information on why it crashed (like, the particular dll file).W…

I've been getting constant BSOD's, and after many days of trying to fix the problem, I came accross the Windows debugging tool, so I could view the minidump file. Basically what it tells me is that the problem is caused by the : ntoskrnl.exe : My guess is that this is an operating system kernel file. So my question is.....is there an easy way to fix this? Is there a way I can replace this file? I dread doing a reinstall of my operating system. Even then I'm not sure that a reinstall would fix the problem. Any suggestions?Thanks,Chris

For those of you experiencing CTDs, do you use time compression? I ask because I have noticed when I use TC, almost every time (except for 2 or 300 mile short trips) I have a CTD. It happens on any of my planes, and it always happens upon descent to my destination airport. But if I have patience and not use TC and use autopilot so I can wander off, I have a perfect flight every time. I have looked for memory issues and find none. FSX will load right back up and fly again with no problem (I presume unless I do a long flight again with TC, which I've never tried). I think if the memory was crapping out, I would see other issues and FSX would have problems reloading, wouldn'…

Guys,I'm having some CTD in my FSX, especially with the PMDG aircrafts. Some of these CTD are related to ntdl.dll or api.dll. I have the W7, 64bit, and have addons like PMDG, RC4 and UT2.I've done everything, did everything but light a candle for a saint. Looking here at the forum, I found an interesting post about HD partition and install FSX on XP.My question is simple: has anyone tried it and is it working? I know I will have some limitations with XP (RAM, etc) but I can no longer start a flight and be praying to getland without an interruption of CTD.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Why does it do this. I was hoping to avoid this annoying problem with a new computer and protecting it like crazy! What would make FSX crash when I'm 1:30 into a flight in the Flight 1 cessna mustang and REX running?? And when I get the desktop, it gives the microsoft.net framework message that a program has encountered an error, and if i click continue it will ignore the issue but the message wil pop back up, and I have to click quit for the program to quit. The explanation of the problem it says, is that REX has encountered an error. Why? Why? Why??

Hello,I purchased KCLT by Imagine Sim over a month ago, and to this day I still continue to get a Fatal Error crash problem. The problem happens when I am at the airport, the screen freezes and I get a fatal error. I have tried using google to help me come up with possible solutions with still no luck. Hi FSX has been running on the laptop I use, Win 7 for some time, 32 bit.However, following a recent Win 7 update, an issue has developed. FSX opens OK, I can select a mission or free flight or whatevrer and the game launches OK. But, within about 10 to 20 seconds, the screen display disappears to show the desktop and it becomes impossible to get the game back, although it still shows in teh task barThus far, my only solution has been to restore the laptop to an earlier time and that is OK, except of course that windows still wants me to run the update.Has anyone else been having this problem or got any ideas for a fix, please?Edit: Ah, rolling the system back to an e…

Have the different Wilco Airbus series installed in both FS Sims. However I get an error when I changed from one aircraft or texture to another.The programme then stops working.It also happens when I change to a none Wilco aircraft.
