Im not the first one and probably will not be the last, but I am going crazy with the g3d.dll ctd. I have been flying with no issues since I built up the new pc (see specs in my signature below) but now I have come to a point where I get a ctd on almost every flight. The ctd seem not to be OOM related, and occur mainly flying in Europe (I have UTX EU + several Aerosoft airports), and only during approach, getting closer to an addon airport. It almost never happens while flying in US (despite I also there have UTX USA + many addon airport installed), which makes me think it might be some sort of conflict between UTX EU and addon airports. Hi there guysKinda stumped really. Im running fsx on my new rig, and it runs great when Im actually using the sim, but Im sure Im not alone on this one, sometimes you need to alt tab out of the program to check whatever. I do that quite alot. The problem that I have been having is that, sometimes when I go to go back to the game, sometimes it works, and sometimes it works 50%. So for instance, Ill alt tab out, then ill take my mouse and click on the program 3-5 times on the task bar for it to be called back up, sometimes, it will come back up, but the screen stays black but yet you can hear the sounds if you press p and you can move the mouse over stuff and see the gauges…

Ok, I have had issues the past few days with my FSX freezing! I have done everything except re-install Windows (including using REVO to uninstall FSX and any add-ons). Hello!I've got a rather big issue with FSX. Just a couple of days ago my FSX started getting fatal errors after less then an hour of flying. I checked the problem reports and it seems to be different faulty modules all the time... Here are the last ten ones:MSVCR90.dllterrain.dllStackHash_fb8bFSCOPI~1.OCXterrain.dllFSCOPI~1.OCXterrain.dllft733.dll_unloadedFSInn.ocxterrain.dllterrain.dll and FSCOPI~1.OCX seems to be the biggest troublemakers. Okay I need some advice to why I'm getting Out of memory errors when getting close to completing my flts? I've tried about about 8 flts for testing purposes like KLAS-KSFO, KSFO-KLAX & KLAS-KATL this has been over a month period. I've only had maybe 4 of these flt's completed without issue the rest I ran out of memory. This is a new setup all new equipment and I used NickN setup guides for this build. I can't understand why? For the last week or so I have been flying around in the PMDG J41 doing reasonably long flights (1.5-3) hours. I land roll off the runway and begin my taxi back to the gate. I exit RC4 through the on screen pop up in fsx and all is ok. About 10-15 seconds later "FSX has stopped working" the message does not state the specific nature of the problem so I am not sure where to look for help. I have not tried with other aircraft but have completed a successful flight with the PMDG bae two days ago. Whether I fly in an ORBX area or not the error still happens. So this all began a few weeks ago when flight sim crashed. Don’t remember all the details but I was experiencing the black vertical lines issue and then it crashed and said the Nvidia driver crashed. I went ahead and installed the newest Nvidia driver for my card. I also decided to do a full reinstall of FSX as one of the other main problems I had been experiencing I wanted to hopefully resolve. That issue was upon starting the 2nd engine the sound would be very loud, almost as if I had switched to an outside view. It was just a loud roar. Hi, I'm having a problem lately about when I start a free flight, after it finishes the loading 5 seconds later the cursor turned into a blue ring and it dont respond. I just purchased and installed in FSX, the FlyTampa-Athens scenery. Something very strange is happening with this software. I will try to explain the best I can. The situation was Takeoff from EGLL, which included VFR London, UK2000 EGLL and 100% AI (95% of the airlines installed that EGLL operates, WOAI)There was terrible stuttering at times, even freezing for an entire second when panning around the default 747 VC.Anyway autopilot was on (enroute to KSEA) and i left it flying to watch the football. Using the CS 767-300 on a flight from Frankfurt/Main to Ataturk I got a message reading "fatal error,FSX will now close" (or something similar). When I save a flight with real world weather active (Jeppesen downloads) as default flight then try to restart FSX it crashes. If I uncheck real weather it starts a ok. Any suggestions? Thanks Dan

Bam!! Short final into EGLL from WSSS and "POOF" The big red stop sign telling me FSX didn't shut down properly. It will restart.Thanks FSX but I was kinda wanting to land my 747-400 after the long flight from Singapore...Can anyone help? Am I doing something wrong? FSX swiches to a small window mode randomly in a flight, looks like if something is on windows 7 is doing this I have disconnected Norton firewall and anivirus put in in silennce mode, no printer program installed, soo I dont know what else to do.Thank you in advavance.regardsRicardo

So I had Ulitmate Traffic installed but i unintalled it using the built in program. Then i installed woai and some ai to go with it. I started fsx and it crashed right after It finisheds loading after I press begin flight. Whats wrong with it?

Hi i have a great progbelm with graphic corruption in FSX. İ tried to solve the problem with a clean install but whatever i do after the installation of some graphic add-ons the graphics become corrupted anyway. Hi guys I am about to give up on FSX after weeks of trying to get it to run correctly. I recently built a new Pc just for fsx i7 2600kGTX58016gig ramnot OCed or anything. + latest drivers My problem is that only with the J41 and 737 NGX when I go to "end Flight" in FSPAX menu I get a CTD (d3d9.dll) and the flight is not recorded. Any default aircraft works fine. It does not crash during flight, just 100% of the time when I end flight. I have read about problems running both FSPAX and PMDG but I have also heard about it running succesfully. I love FS pax for only 3 reasons. 1. I have all custom sounds and crew messages etc. 2. Hi guys,This issue has been pissing me off quite a bit. Now when I am on approach or even final approach, the gauges on my wilco 777 freezes. The exterior of the plane also turns black. The only way to bring it back to life is by press the escape button and return to the flight. But after a while, the thing freezes again and the cycle continues. I recently downladed USS nimitz Ike version 2. I have the Carriers but decks are empty of aircraft.According to reviews this version comes with aircraft. So where are they? What have I forgotten to do ?

I experienced my first CTD the other day. The details of the error message said that the program that faulted was atc.dll . Is this the atc for the AI traffic in FSX? I was not actively talking to FSX's ATC at the time. I was flying enroute, but there were numerous AI aircraft around me (depicted by their contrails). Since the crash, I have reduced the amount of AI traffic. This may solve the problem. I just want to know what atc.dll does and why it may of crashed. I have a pretty high performance computer -980x with a good card and a decent amount of memory. I have never experienced any problems before and I run Air hauler, ASE, and AI smooth at the same time.

Hi guy’s this thing is driving me nuts fsx is such a cow program but visually much better than fs9.will try to explain more.I’m running 4 monitor off the 2 vid cards and a video adapter for the touch screen.Before I go any further this set up is working for fs 9 .I am very hesitant about playing with drivers when it working with fs9 .I have only recently done a complete format and a fresh install of win 7 pro 64 bit .Even if I drag the default radio stack down to the touch screen it still gets the fatal errorThanks for taking the time to read thischeers mark

Okay so yesterday I put up a thread asking about smoother edges on aircraft and I was told about the nvidiainspector thread over at the PMDG forums. So I checked it out and hey, it worked. I used the top settings which i think was 8xSQ because he stated that if you have a modern card then it should be able to handle it. Well I have an nvidia 580gtx and I've noticed that even though I have smooth edges now, whenever i pan around my aircraft or cockpit, and even in the image below, i will get these split second black images come up on my screen where it seems to be loading the texture. this didn't happen before I did this inspector tool, so do you think I should go to the s…
