Okay so yesterday I put up a thread asking about smoother edges on aircraft and I was told about the nvidiainspector thread over at the PMDG forums. So I checked it out and hey, it worked. I used the top settings which i think was 8xSQ because he stated that if you have a modern card then it should be able to handle it. Well I have an nvidia 580gtx and I've noticed that even though I have smooth edges now, whenever i pan around my aircraft or cockpit, and even in the image below, i will get these split second black images come up on my screen where it seems to be loading the texture. this didn't happen before I did this inspector tool, so do you think I should go to the s…

So I get this error that pops up every 15 mins and normally I click ignore. FS runs fine normally but it just made my PMDG 747 crash. However I can't tell if its to do with ENB Series that made my pmdg crash. But here is an image of the pop up I am talking about.

Hello,all goes well, untill i hit the windows key to go to the desktop enviroment, while FSX still running, and use the MD-11 Load Manager. Going back to FSX all i get is a black screen. Then the only solution is to press the Esc key to go back to the menu which is visible. From cockpit to desktop all is ok but from desktop to cockpit black screen and no sounds and this happens to default planes too.What do i do wrong? is it because all my sliders almost are to the right? thank you for any helpPanos

Hey guys, I recently purchased FSDT's new KLAX scenery, but i'm getting CTDs at between 90 and 100% loading every time. I have already done some troubleshooting, and these are my findings:- After disbaling all Calirfornia related sceneries except UTX, it was apparant that these sceneries have nothing to do with the carshes. Even with default scenery I get crashes.- After rebuilding the fsx.cfg file, eveything worked again, but when I put in the MyTrafficX entry, the CTD happened again. Conclusion: AI traffic is the problem. I have not tried yet to see whether the problem is MTX or AI aircraft in general, although cars and boats are not a problem. I tested whether default …

I couldn't find an answer to this topic when I searched this forum. I have been thinking about undocking a 2D window on a second monitor. The second monitor is not yet connected, however I have been using the " View" pulldown menu to see what is available for the NGX. Just opening, undocking and closing several 2D windows seems to cause a CTD when using the NGX, which I also have configured for EZCA. Seems that after opening/undocking some 2D windows then using EZCA in the VC I get a CTD. I am running Windows 64 with 6G of ram, on an i7 system, with no over clock (I disabled the oc when I first got the CTD ). Any ideas most appreciated.Thanks, Bruce.

I got one of those terrain.dll crashes this afternoon but not concerned. I noted I had an Error Code 0005 too which is a memory exception error. I was coming into KDCA for a landing in very, very heavy weather (it's raining a lot here in the Wash DC area!) in my PMDG 739NGX. I was just about 100 yards from landing and I know the FMC was doing a lot of computing with all the weather so I attribute it all to a sudden memory glitch while FSX was reading the terrain.dll. HI all. I'm new to the community and desperate for some info. Recently, and I mean all of a sudden, FSX would start hanging or freeze a few minutes into my flight. First I thought it had something to do with any vehicle with a jet. I tried some prop planes and even ran a mission and the same thing happened. What specifically happens is the Sim freezes but I can still here the sound. I am able to TM out to desktop and force close the program. I've tried multiple areas, kmkg..kfll etc. I have updated all my drivers. It happened all of a sudden too. One day I was flying for hours and then suddenly it happened. Hi Folks, Does anyone know which file I must backup/save that encompasses all my joystick control assignments to the FSX commands? For reasons of my own, I want to be able to save all my present joystick commands that I have assigned in FSX, (Deluxe Gold w/Acceleration Pack), so that I can reset the entire FSX controls back to its default setup. I see a file labeled "Controls.dll" and suspect that if I save that file I will be able to reinstall it and regain my present joystick assignments but I'm not sure. So does anyone know if that's the one, or is it some other file, (or combination of files)? Thanks

yeah, I know - done to death.. :) but people still have them and sometimes it's not fixed by UIAutomationCore.dll, or other fixes... cleaning up my old email today, I came across this note to myself. I've searched about CTDs here but it seems the CTD problems are different to each one.My problem is when on the ground inside the cockpit of the MD-11X, I view the different instruments and suddenly the computer looks busy and then i get that CTD. My FSX is the Gold edition just bought it 2 days ago without any problems in installation and no tweaks. MD-11X is the boxed version.Thank you in advance

Hello, I got this one on final approach in the NGX coming into YBBN, frustrating. I have tried that one where you insert a few lines into the .cfg and it comes up with errors but does not crash, I don't think that is a proper fix so I was just wondering if there was a proper fix o this. Thanks,

Hi all, I have experienced 5 different types of CTD's in the past few days:gdiplus.dllntdll.dllxuipc.dllg3d.dllmsucr80.dll I installed a new video card last week. Went from 5870 to a GTX580. Followed all correct steps, used driver sweeper in safe mode etc. I never had any CTD's before the GPU switch so it seems like it would be the possible card. Although, not being a computer whiz, I am really not sure what these modules do or why they are faulty, even after a few google searches. I have reinstalled the current NVIDIA drivers and hasn't helped. All 5 crashes have been with the NGX but during different routes. Any help would be much appreciated and I'll give anything a tr…

After flying normally, FSX does not shutdown at exit (either from end flight and exit menu or through closing by pressin (X) on the top right corner) but hangs. After I do an End Process from task manager fsx.exe and ECZA.exe drop from the application menu but remain in processes window. CMD screen taskkill command also does not work. Only solution is to perform a reboot.I have disabled the ECZA entry in the exe.xml file and the problem goes away. It seems ECZA is the culprit. How can I work around this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi allToday I'm appealing to your knowledge as I'm struggling to find a solution.The problems is that every helicopter, default or payware, turbine or piston are experiencing CTDs after some minutes of flying (2 or 10, practically random) and I don't know which the problem is. For the last 2 month I got this problem.Each time in a MP Session in crowded/big airports and frame rate drops significantly and FSX stops. A notification pops up.... Good evening...A longer time ago I was flown the Level-D into KORD and at about 5000ft, short before the FAF, I got a CTD, I thougt it would happen only once. But a few days ago, I flew with the NGX from KBUF (FlyTampas+US Cities Niagara Falls) to Fly Tampas Midway which I've bought a few minutes earlier and on the ILS of Midway I got another CTD. I did the flight once again to see if I can reproduce that bug and what shall I say, I got my CTD. The next try was with US Cities X off, and I won another CTD. The 4th flight was with KORD off and it works, I finally landed at Midway.What have I done, I made a deinstallation, downloaded the KORD Installer new and installed it. …

Not only was EZCA extremely buggy, it has prevented FSX from starting. When I try and load FSX it will get to the free flight screen and freeze. This is frustrating, as I'm sure you can understand. Thanks. Windows 7 x64

FUBAR is an old military expression for, f'd up beyond all recognition. Got a " Critical" update from Microsoft and that ended FSX. Uninstalled and re-installed FSX but now I get the message that "LWcfg.xml has to be deleted from my "personal users hidden directory". I say almost all add-ons, because it doesnt matter if I am using the Wilco Airbus Vol1 A320, or the PMDG NGX, or the Wilco ERJ, I have the same issue. Let me describe it for you. I am flying FSX SP2, with Acceleration and all from MS-camp. I am using UTX and GenX for North America when flying. I am also using ActiveSky Evo. I use FPS Limiter set to D3D9 from the OUTSIDE and launch FSX from that shortcut. I am running on a Triple-Head with 3 monitors. Hello AVSIM, Firstly, my main problem is that all my aircraft are invisible! I have no idea what caused this, all I have installed are some add-on sceneries and the PMDG NGX. I had done several flights today and when I fired up the sim, I just started getting this and I have no idea why. The only thing I installed between flights was a DiVX codec, but I uninstalled it after I started having issues. Hi all! I'm using my sim since 2 years, flying only long hauls online and have more or less the same stable software background. The only changes were 2 months ago an SSD and an 580GTX. Softwares are: Win7-64, FSX, Active Sky, PMDG 747, Realtime, Ground Environment X, FSGlobal 2010 and FSINN.
