I placed the FSX CD to repair a problem with FSX now my Flight Simulator Crash to my Desktop as you see below!!! :( Your expertise wwill be appreciated I hate to reinstal FSX and all the programs necessary.

Ever since i have i installed REX i have been getting the HRESULT error, and i could not a fix for it so i have reinstalled all of my addons and my FSX. My Game crashes alot because of the HRESULT error. I have heard this is a usual error in REX.

is it a good idea to defrag the FSX partition once in a while, or am I doing the wrong thing?

I thought my problem was over, but NOT. I received "Main.Dll" faulty report. I tried fix it with runing FSX Repair. After completion now I Carnot start the FSX . I checked error report it was "simptop.dll" After I search forum. I found two recommendations to solve this problem 1-Rename FSX.cfg file 2-rename FSX Logbook.bin file. Hey all...I cant really enjoy FSX since I suffer from CTDs. They always appear (sometimes after 5, sometimes after 10 minutes of trying to reproduce or around 60 minutes of flying) when using the menu ingame. As you can see from the specs in my signature file, they are adequate for the NGX. I've been running the NGX very smoothly since its release. Lately, however, I'm getting an "out of memory" message followed by a CTD. I do not plan on posting a trouble ticket until I hear some feedback from other users.As far as isolating the problem. It is happening using the NGX toward the end of flights approaching the FSDT KLAX airport and the running the ORBX full terrain scenery approaching KSEA and also approaching the ORBX version of YMML. I was about 1 1/2 hours into a flight and then right-clicked FSX to bring up a menu to change views. Then subsequently FSX crashed and gave me the message A Fatel Error Occured FSX is restarting. I heard of the uiautomationcore.dll, but the ones I have used made no difference. I heard that core from http://forum.avsim.net/topic/326554-fsx-crashes-when-using-menus/ which is the 6.0.6001.18000 version is better than some others, but the download link is not working. Since some time I am unable to fly longer then 15-25minutes, the FSX crashes constantly.I know that the msvcr80.dll issue was covered here, but most topics accords to SP1.I did uninstall C++ Redistr., I uncheck AA, I do the defrag, nothing helps...I have a Vista 32bit OS with GTX280 (driver 182.50) on board. Hello Simmers, I'm experiencing FSX crashes ntdll.dllI'm starting with UT2, crash, tried MTX, cresh, tried TrafficX, etc... crash. ( not all together of course ) The crash happens only during morning hours, only on LIRA and LIRF airports ( saved and no saved fly ) let say only in a zone where I have two freeware add-on scenery. Hello,this is one problem I have been experiencing ever since I have started heavily using vatsim. I use paywares like the PMDG NGX, 747 etc and vatsim which has caused freezing and then "windows trying to find a solution" then CTD and a program restart. This has been particularly painful with the fact that its during my VA flights and the PIREPS getting rejected. Any help? My settings are adjusted to the lowest realistic setting, doing better but nothing great. I am trying to run FSX on my new computer core i7 64bit nvidia GTS 450, the only problem that a see at the moment is that when I start a new flight with PMDG 747 or LDS 767 the sim is runing fine but I con not use the mouse on the 2D panel,only if I change screen resolution the problems are gone, maybe 1 hour or to hours later in the flight I get the same problem, no nobs response with the mouse cursor, if I change the screen resolution on midflight then the problem is gone, the only thing that I did was to use the nvidia inspector to set it up for FSX as per the guide, but the problem remains the same.Please help me!!Best RegardsRicardo

I was just curious if running fsx under vista service pack 2 improves anything. Earlier my fsx crashes when closing down and so I wasn't sure if changing the compatibility.
