using the menus in fsx still crashes even after the supposed uianimationcore.dll fix in windows 7 x64 Its really annoying when it crashes in the middle of a 3 hour flight Any help? Ps when is microsoft either gonna patch this BS or make a new simulator thats worth a crap?

I am totally fed up with FSX and its crashes. I went as far as purchasing a new computer with much higher specs than the last one I had JUST so I can play this crap, and the stupid game still CTD!! CTD's make the game boring and not very enjoyable at all. When I have to continually start my virtual airline flights over again (starting up the aircraft and taxiing to the runway too many times unnecessarily really ####### me off).. Anyway, this little rant goes to Microsoft...FIX THIS CRAPPY GAME! because its certainly NOT the computers fault! At this point, Microsoft is on my sh-- list.

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me solve my CTDs. I have been attempting to complete a flight from Seattle to New York and I keep CTDing near the latter half. With the Level D 767 I can get to my ToD point and that's about where the CTD hits. I next tried with the Quality Wings 757 and I CTD on approach to KJFK in clouds. I'm trying not to pull my hair out over these errors, nothing in the world like a CTD almost 5 hours into a carefully planned flight. I am stumped...last week I uninstalled FSGlobal, and updated to Nvidia Beta drivers...I play BF3 every now and then and it worked fine... I then did a flight with the Simcheck A300 on Monday night and for the first time ever my system locked up....fans were still going, there was just no sound, no mouse, keyboard was totally ineffective, and the screen showed the cockpit of the A300 as if it was a photo. I had to press the reset button on the case and reboot the machine. Hello everyone! I not long ago bought the disc of microsoft flight simulator X deluxe and also the extension pack acceloration. When i in the main menu, i want to start the briefing for the mission, the first one. When i click on go to briefing its just crashing to the desktop, i mean yesterday it showed me a fatal error but now it just crashes and doing nothing. I have noticed something funny with fsx. I will do a flight, walk away for awhile maybe 30 minutes while my plane is parked at a gate, return and start a new flight and I get a crash. Any ideas why letting fsx sit would do this? I am running utx so maybe that is it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thank You Anthony

Hello, some days ago i had a problem with invisible buildings and kindly people helped me, in the FSX Forum, by telling me to add HIGHMEM=1 in GRAPHICS section in my fsx.cfg. I did it and the problem solved. But another problem appeared. Since i added HIGHMEMFIX with Anisotrop and Antialiasing enable in the settings, during my flights a window appear with the title Fatal error occured, and under two options: "Find solution online" and "Program new start" Since i have FSX I always have anisotrop and antialising chosen with no problems. I changed to trilinear and it worked! but the terrain it looks very blurry. What I can do? Thank you of any help

Hey guys, i was hoping you could help me out with a problem i'm having. I have tried 3 times now, to do a quick short IFR flight from ENCN (Kjevik) to EKYT (Aalborg), about 20-25 min of flying time. And every single time, my computer shuts completely down about 5 minutes before touchdown, do anyone know what may cause this? Hi! Im really sad! I bought the 737NGX and I'm not enjoying it! because almost everytime i crash the airplane in the sim or switch airport my FSX crashes! Hi guys, I am very frustrated with this problem, while last week everything seems to be okay. So, after loading the FS and start select airport/ free flight, i always get error/ freeze/ CTD when i select HEMA/ HESH airport. Im using this following scenery : HEMA : Sim Design Group - SDG HESH : Aerosoft I've try to uninstall the scenery but the problem is remain same. Anyone have a solution?

So this is what I was doing before it crashed. As quoted from one of my other posts on some flying questions.. it shows what I was doing when this CTD happened.. How do I stop this from happening again? And I haven't updated to SP1 and SP2. Should I be doing that? I was flying the default a320 with no extra addons. Please help! Jay

Hi All I recently purchased a new system for FSX (upgrading from FS9) and CTDs are ruining my fun! I get CTDs with "a fatal error has occurred" message all the time, so much so that I can barely complete a flight as it's almost guaranteed that during the preflight, climb out or cruise phase I will get a CTD either while panning around in spot view or even sometimes just when in the VC. At first I thought SweetFX might be the cause, so I recently started up the sim, disabled this, but still getting CTDs. Hello, Well, this is nothing new really, but today I'm elated because for me at least, I've finally gotten fsx and a lot of orbx scenery stuff working beautifully....smooth 30-70 fps without jitters or tearing or anything weird over SeaTac with autogen on dense. It's been a long, tedious waste of time trying to get things to work on my system. i7 3.5 ghz, gtx 560ti windows 7. one SSD drive for Windows, one SSD drive for FSX....near instant texture loading and menu loading. I am getting d3d.dll crashes at RANDOM times, usually when I've been simming for extended periods of time all from the g3d.dll -It happens with Advanced addons (NGX, Flytampa, Aerosoft) -Last time it happened when I was trying to Instand Replay with FSrecorder (VERY ANNOYING) -Happened when tried to access flight planner during a flight. Hi my fellow simmers . For those of you had the same problem i did when selecting menu option such as map,views, fspassenger end flight , etc...... I have found this fix that is currently working for me when ending flight in fspassengerx an also going threw different option in the menu bar. FIX I made this change in the .ini file: [GLOBAL] UseEffect=0 (typically is set to 1 in the .ini file) This keeps the mod from turning on when you start the sim or even when going from full screen to windowed mode and vice versa. You will have to manually turn it on and off by using SHIFT + F12. An for fspassenger what i do is before i end the flight …

For the past couple of weeks I have noticed when flying my Ram usage increases at a slow and steady pace while flying. Saturday in the NGX I left PHNL en-route to KPDX and while running AS2012, Aivlasoft EFB on VATSIM and on VAFS5. About 4 hrs into the flight, my ram was up to 96% and things started to get ugly. I shut everything down and my ram continued to stay hung there. The only way I could get it to come down to normal was to restart.
