Hello, as the title says, I had in the past a CTD and I thought that it was because i was viewing the airplane from outside. Today i was flying without viewing outside and i got this break nerving CTD. I just started getting this fatal crash during startup on FSX. I never make it past the opeing screen. I have attached the error log from Windows 7 event log. Hopefully someone out can direct me to where I might be having a problem. I am running Windows 7 x64. Hi guys, I have a BIG problem. My FSX always crashes to desktop while not in Compatibility Mode in Win7. I know there is a big difference between running FSX without compatibility. I have some extra FPS while not in mode, but it is not stable. When I push the Windows button to go to the desktop, crashes. I have the proper version of UIAutomationCore.dll in main FSX folder. It runs perfect while in mode without GSX (because it can't run in mode, that is known) Many people said that, there is no need to enable compatibility mode. I know, I know. Hi, I have a new rig dedicated to FSX (see signature for details). First, I did install a light FSX (with only the main addons and sceneries) in order to test and fine tune the system and its overclocking settings. I ended up with 2 OC profiles (4.5GHz and 4.6GHz). Since everything was running fine and stable, I made a full clean reinstall of windows and FSX with all the addons. But now that everything is properly installed, I always have CTD during flight. This only occures when the CPU is overclocked. With the CPU at stock speed, no CTD. At 4.5GHz, the CTD usually occurs on final approach, when the destination airport is loading I guess. Hi all, Over the past few days my head has been driven in by a new CTD I am getting even after a recent complete reinstallation of FSX and my Windows 7 64bit OS. Hi Guy's i have been running FSX successfully on the sme maching foe several years now. Hi all. First of all, I realize there are a lot of threads about this already, but I have read practically everyone, and A ) We don't have the same problem, or B ) What people have suggested doesn't work, so I figured I'd start a thread explaining my problem, hardware etc. I got FSX up and running, with REX essentials. I was flying, and on final it would just freeze. It's frustrating as !@#* because I just sat for like an hour, looking forward to landing. I close that flight, start a new one, and yet again, it freezes and crashes. I had this problem on my old computer, so I did the same steps I conducted before. Today I wanted to record my landing with FSRecorder when I was approaching LAX with the CS 707. In order to do that, I opened the FSRecorder menu during flight but as I clicked OK FSX crashed. I am not only experiencing this with the FSRecorder menu but also with every other menu I try to access during flight. I've been told to remove the file UIAutomationCore.dll from its folder but that does not help. Furthermore, I've checked dll.xml with Notepad++ as suggested in another topic here on AVSIM but it appears to be okay. Fortunately, FSX runs properly without any menu clicks. Now I'm at the verge of despair :mellow:

Recently I encounter some frequent OOM issues with NGX. I checked RAM usage in resource monitor and found that fsx only use 1.5G, while more than 800MB is available. I don't think I ran out of RAM. But could OOM be caused by insufficient video memory? I am using 32bit windows 7 with 4G ram installed. Here are two screenshots captured when I receive OOM error. The second one is made after FSX shut down. Any help is appreciated.

Ive struggled alot with this one. Ive read alot about it, and ive learned alot as well. I did several changes when it was bugging me alot such as: Changing CL-settings, lowering RAM clock speed, no CPU OC, always starting all add-ons (AS2012, TrackIR) and FSX as an admin, and always have FSX in focus during the entire flight (no surfing, playing music etc). Hi: I am using FSX and Windows 7. Lately I have been having FSX crash on (Fatal Error) . I looked in the Win Logs and got a mesage saying the faulty module was livingwater.dll,and also that the faulty path was fsx.exe. I have no idea what these are. I understand that this is a rather common problem , having something to do with FSX being 32b and Win 7 being 64 bit. I would really appreciate some help with this. I've recently invested in a new graphics card, the old one was blacking out, and trying to fine-tweak my FSX to get the best out of it all, but I seem to be getting CTDs both loading DLLs and "run out of video memory" errors. It's really very frustrating & usually takes place on descent/approach at the end of any flight longer than say, a good hour. Within the past 6 months I've been getting an aweful lot of weather.dll CTD's. The only weather-related thing to coincide with that is I've had OPUS for about that much time. Additionally... The CTD's seem to occur when paired with the F1 Mustang. Anyone have any clues?

I was getting the Fatal Error after just a few minutes of flying when I used the Carenado 182T (G1000) or the Air Bus AXE. I have an I7-2600K with an ASUS motherboard. I have solved the Fatal Error problem by changing the way I over-clock. I had set my BLCK/PCIE to 100 then adjust the Turbo Ratio. As long as I kept the ratio below 37 I would not get the fatal errors. The problem was I could only get the computer up to 3.7 GHZ. Since I run a five monitor system using the AMD HD6990 this is to low of a speed to give smooth flying. I lowered the BLCK/PCIE 98 then started raising the Turbo Ratio slowly to increase the GHZ. I was able to raise the Turbo Ratio …

I deownloaded an SR-71 Blackbird.When I picked a designated airport it would start up somewhere else, sometimes in trees. I got it flying at the proper airport twice, but the gauges didn't work. Got frustrated, so I went with an FSX plane that has worked before and my faverate airport and it crashed. At start up I get that pop up where its generating scenry etc. When it's done the plane shows up at a different place, then the pop up, then a different place. I deleted the SR-71 files, but that didn't help.

Just bought this R44 the other day, tried to fly it around the LA basin and after about 15 mins....CTD. The first time flying over LAX using FSDT's LAX....CTD. Even if I remain clear of LAX it tends to CTD. Yesterday I flew it all the way up the coast in one big circle, after about 1hr....CTD. Anyone have any ideas? This is the only a/c that's given me problems around LA and I tried reinstalling it, thinking it was a bad install. Still the same CTD. Please any suggestions?

I have a strange problem. I have FSX on Windows 7. I have an almost new rebuilt PC with a Asus GForce GTX660ti new graphics card but I can't seem to overcome a problem I have had for some time. When I run high graphics aircraft like recently the Airbus X Extended with some extreme scenery I have no problem with frame rates but after a period of time (this varies) I start to lose parts of the grahics. This is often parts of the model of the aircraft like today the first thing I noticed in a long flight was after 3 hours I lost the fin of the aircraft. Hi, I noticed that from yesterday I can't start FSX. It loads up the splash sceen (With the FSX logo) and it stucks there and I must close it manually. I tried to delet the fsx.cfg file but it didn't change anything. Any ideas? tnx, Liam

Good day World, Today I installed GSX from FSDT for my fsx. My fs was running fine last week. I havent made any system changes in the mean time. So here is where the issues start. Basically, When I click on a button in the aircraft, e.g the anti-collision lights on the PMDG737NGX. Every say 1 in 5 clicks, its completly random in terms of which button. It just comes up and happens. I have an issue where it goes to the "are you sure you wish to end FSX" menu with the YES/NO options. It also occasionaly crashes with no error or even "fatal error" message. I have uninstalled GSX and hte issue is still there. I have since reinstalled as I see it doesnt appear to be the issue.…

Has anyone had any issues using sweetfx. Just did a fresh install of FSX with acceleration and once I add sweetfx it crashes on the splash screen. No other add ons or mods were made at this time. On my previous install with sp1 and sp2 I had zero issues using sweetfx. Makes me wonder if it is something to do with acceleration.

Hi guys, I know there is a huge forum for this already, but I haven't seen my problem come up yet. I have recently decided to reinstall FSX and do some flying, as I have been away from the game for awhile now. My problem is, after reinstalling FSX gold edition (just the base, not acceleration yet) I can no longer get to the main menu.
