my fsx game has been crashing on start up for the last couple of days and i have googled for solutions but nothing seems to help reinstalled the game and installed again and still nothing. only thing ive noticed is that it ran on fsx sp1 but as soon as installed sp2 or acceleration it began to crash again. hey everyone getting random CTD in the menus, pretty much done all the recomended fixes trying to capture one with app crash however they don't show up ???? any ideas thanks JHo

Guess I should consider myself quite lucky because I haven't had many problems lately with FSX but from time to time I still get CTDs, FSX just freezes and I'm presented with a dialog box telling me Microsoft Flight Simulator X has stopped working and all I can do when this happens is to confirm the message and at that time I'm thrown back to the desktop. Hello everyone. After a long time away from simming, I have recently upgraded my PC where it is now well suited to such things. I have just today done a clean install of FSX SP1 & 2, and decided to do a flight. Durring flight all seems well, untill i start going threw the menues, to change views, pull up GPS, radio stack,throttles ect ect. Then It crashes. Goes to desktop, and wants me to search online for a fix. None found via that route. I can be 2 min into flight, or 50 minutes, its using the menues that is almost for sure causing it. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Hi! Starting FSX with PMDG737 is no issue. However only as long as the CDU is NOT progammed with another flight other then the standard NGX flights. When preparing and flying a route, I can save this flight, but at FSX start-up and selecting this plane, FSX crashes. Also when I load the same (saved) plane from within FSX, after start-up with a standard airplane, it will crash. So I can open FSX, as long as I do not select PMDG with a CDU containing a flightplan I made and loaded/saved in this CDU. I use FSX Gold, with Accelerator or with SP1&2, no changes. Regards, peter

Hi guys, I have a following problem: I've removed previous version from MODULES (unregistered one), restarted the computer and installed the new ver. 4.90 (registered one) with copying the Loader first. FSX now stops responding immediately after start and CTD with an error message: duplicate copies of FSUIPC installed... (or something close to that, I am not right now in front of my FSX computer). Restarting the computer does not help! Still the same message when starting the FSX. What is wrong here?

Greetings to the forum. I am currently struggling with some issues that is causing my new MJC Dash 8 Q300 to CTD. I'm working with Oleksiy at Majestic and he has been excellent but we still have not resolved the issue. The consensus is that it is my sound card that is causing the problem. It is a new Asus Xonar Phoebus with the latest drivers. All my other FSX add on aircraft are working perfectly. Microsoft state that a sound card is required in their "Minimum Requirements" list. Today, for the first time, when I went to load a flight up at Jacksonville, NC(KOAJ) I had something happen to me that I've never seen before. When I was loading the flight, it froze at about 35% when "Loading Terrain Data". I restarted my computer at least 3 times, and the same thing kept on happening. I've noticed that the same thing happens for some reason at airports that seem to be near a body of water. I've successfully loaded up at Chicago O'hare, Dubuque, and Detroit with no problems. I have a relatively high end PC. i7 3770k, 16gb RAM, GTX titan gfx card. When running fsx on highest settings with ORBX England 2.0 i get horrible frame rate, under 10 fps. It will also crash to desktop and say my computer has run out of memory. Anybody know why this would be? I would have thought my set up would be able to handle it. Many Thanks

Hello all. I relize that there are posts about this in the past and i have spent the passed week doing all the sugjestions. My flight simulator seems to stop responding in mid flight. It really does not matter the air plane i fly in it just goes gray screen and un responcive. The programs i am only running in the back ground would be my bit torrent for anti virus in game mode, my vafs5 and active sky. Now if i try and run teh game without acitve sky it still happends. The plane i use the most offten is my pmdg ngx. It is not pirated. In fact non of my software is pirated. Apparently (if I'm reading it right), g3d.dll is the faulty module. It's been in the report of the last 4 crashes. The one before that is caused by "StackHash_c2c0", then "StackHash_fc24", and then the next 6 errors are g3d.dll again..

Hello fine people of this community!!! Recently I have started to get this "Your computer has run out of available memory, please adjust FSX settings" or something like that. Now, I don't know if it has something to do that I had installed Adobe Photoshop or what. I was wanting to learn to paint aircraft and figured my current PC can handle it. I guess I was wrong. I removed my motherboard today to install a liquid cooling kit. I failed to label my sata cables upon motherboard removal (I have a DVD rom and 2 HDDs). Well, I finally got the computer started but now when I attempt to start FSX, the opening screen hangs for a long time before I finally get the dreaded BSOD "page fault in non-page area". Is this happenning because of my HDDs being on different SATA ports? Doesn't make sense. Even ran Memtest and that was fine. I'm clueless.
