Has anyone found a cure for StackHash errors (BEX events)? Does uninstalling and re-installing FSX only do the trick? Iain Smith

Well folks this is just about the end of the line for me and FSX. I'm going to have to find a new hobby after about twenty three + years. I cannot believe that fsx has gotten worst than better after all the advancement in computers. I cannot believe this new problem I'm having , and I'm stuck and cannot go forward , I don't have the will or patients to fix this. My problem now is that when I open fsx to play and try to open my views to move around on my screens they won't open where you can see them they are there they are just invisible. Hello folks glad to be back in the Crash to Desktop , didn't want to feel left out. I must tell you I followed every direction to get my system up and running , and I finally did it , I think. Im running W7 64 ult, 3770k @ 4.6 , 285 gtx vid,8 gig , three tera. did everything that paul recommended in his article on software and hardware guide. I must say that all is well except im back to lock ups and such . All I did was that I know of was to increase the mgh from 4.5 to 4.6 ghz and that was when it decided to crash after a full load up of fsx. Ok guys, I`m on FSX since it`s released and never had any problems but now there it is. Everything was cool `till couple of minutes ago when I wanted to start my FSX and prepare for flight. Everything was normal, it loaded initial screen and than puf! Fatal Error bla bla bla restarting FSX.... I didn`t instal anything new for months, and I`ve tried reinstalling microsoft visual c++ 2010 and still nothing. Also tried with UIAutomationCore.dll but still nothing. HI Haswell overclocked to 4.6 FSX runs fine but when ovc to 4.8 it crashes at startup. Any ideas/help? Win8 runs fine at 4.8 and no heating problems with my corsair H90. Many thanks

Hallo somedays before i installed in my fsx pmdg ngx 737-800/900! From then i have a crash problem after 45 minutes of take-off(estimated). I also have in fsx REX ESSENTIAL+,My Traffic 2013. I re-installed all but the problem still exists. A lot of people who encounter g3d.dll ctd's are flying planes that are hard on fps, or over scenery that's hard on fps.Do we know if these errors are related to the virtual memory exceeding the 4GB limit?Also, is there a way to monitor this value because I've been getting hammered with g3d's, especially in PNW scenery.nm I found this cool little program:http://www.hashpling.org/asm/I doubt it's the adress space then... I have began to get the continual FSX crashes to desktop errors. I was getting these errors occasionally over the last several months but now I can not fly any free flight without a crash to desktop at some point. I just recently installed Version 2.3 of FS2Crew. If I load the PMDG 737 NGX for tutorial #1, a flight I have done numerous times before, FSX will crash to the desktop somewhere between during the initial loading of the flight to as late as setting up the FMC per the tutorial. My problem is with Megascenery Earth 2. I have 15 states that I bought. Some work terrific - some are disasters. By disaster, I mean that FSX just shuts down completely. The problem is with Nevada, Ohio and Indiana in particular. Other states work just fine. I have installed per manufacturer's instructions. The CTD happens somewhere during the flight - maybe 5 minutes in, may be 20 minutes in. It's like it gets to a part of the state, can't find the scenery and just crashes. Hi guys, I want to play fsx, so i start up fsx. Once the fsx load screen pop ups, after a few seconds a windows popup screen comes and says fatal error occurred. I want to play it very much. I hope you can help me! I already played fsx for a 0,5 year and everything was just fine. Till now. I already downloaded the UIAutomationCore.dll but that doesnt work. Can you help me? Twice, I've gone through about fifty pages of a pre-flight check list when FSX crashes. The first time , I noticed Cumulus X and Winch X were on automatically from when the Discus is flying. Could they be the culprit? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I could disable them, but if you think it could be something else, let me know. I would hate to go through this again. When it crashes , it goes back to the beginning, when you first turn FSX on.

Im using Fsx save which works very well and has saved my bacon a few times at the end of long flights BUT (there has to be a but..) I get the microsoft.Net Framework error box pop up every 5 minutes or so and its annoying. Anyone have any ideas for a fix before I erase fsx save for good? The problem I have is when I select "Add ons" from the menu bar, the screen will turn black and doesn't always show the selected application i.e. FSUIPC, Accufeel Setup, Flight 1 B200. Just stays black. When that happens, I usually can't get back to the FSX screen. Sometimes by hitting Esc or Enter it will come back on but mostly I have to go Ctr-Alt-Del so I can shut down the puter, then reboot. All other FSX menus work ok. I am using Win 7 64, Intel 2600K @ 4.5ghz. NVIDIA GTX570 Any ideas? Thanks Jim

Hi there, I've spent the last week or two looking around and can't find anything to solve this, bar buying the gold ediiton but I don't want to buy something which might not work either and it's rather gutting as I quite fancied the A2A stuff which requires SP2. I've got standard edition FSX and it's fine on SP1 with whatever mods and using the UIAuto.dll to help maintain long flights, however as soon as I install SP2 I get 'A Fatal Error' BEX open start-up after hanging on the splash screen for about 30-60 seconds. Hello all I love this plane I did 100s of flight with it, it's simply amazing, however, I started to have an annoying problem with it, in an approximate 4 hours flight I get FSX freeze, also all associated applications running for FSX, if I just wait 10 minutes FSX will respond again and all applications is working just fine.....now instead of getting this every few flights ....I get it on each flight for 4-5 times on average ? (during FSX freeze the computer is responsive normally) Any guidance will be very appreciated Best regards

Hi, Could someone help me? I am experiencing a very strange kind of crash. It only happens when I run FSX in normal (directx 9) mode. . If I try to watch instant replay or change zoom from 8x or higher to another speed, FSX crashes. In the log view it says the fault was due igdumdim32.dll error. If I run in directx10 preview I got no problem at all. Unfortunately I have a lot of planes that don't show textures correctly in directx 10 preview, no matter if in external view mode or VC. Anyway, I was more than a bit peed off about an hour ago, a great flight from KLAS to KLAX in the NGX, and then five miles out on approach, the computer just closed down. OK I thought, no great sweat, I guess there must be a lot of dust somewhere to cause overheating. However, on inspection, all the fans were working and there was no large amounts of dust that could have caused the problem, well at least I don't think so.
