I recently bought a new PC and installed FSX and Acceleration. It's Win7 64 bit and it is crashing to the desktop (fatal error) as soon as I access the ALT menus. My fatal error crash occurs immediately after clicking to open a menu, not after 15-20 clicks which was reported as being a problem in several other threads. I saw the posts about remove the UIAnimationCore.dll from System 32 and SysWOW64. I removed them and it didn't make a difference so I've put them both back (from back ups I made before I deleted them). Hi Guys im desperately looking for help to my issue. If this has been posted elsewhere then my apologies but your forum is so vast! I have recently installed fspassengers demo and now every time i start fsx it crashes with a fatal error. It doesnt even get past the initial splash screen before it crashes. (EZdok) (FSX process not found FSX_handle :0) is what i get. I have a feeling that there is a conflict with EZdok camera that i run. Before installing fspassengers demo there was no issue at all, everything ran fine and smooth. I would love to have both running as EZdok is a must for me and fspassengers looks like a interesting addon I have searched the web …

Hello readers So sure, I could delete my FSX and start over to clean up my add-ons, scenery and more but I was wondering if there is another way to solve my problem of "too little VAS" causing regular OOM (Out of Memory) errors now. I have been reducing my settings (radius, texture-load, scenery all off) to increase VAS availability to FSX but without real success. I notice minimal improvements, and while yes, all those things reduce memory load, there is some culprit in my add-ons because I have only started having this problem recently and so far have not been able to find out what add-on this is. Hi all, I've installed fsx on my brand new machine but sometimes it crashes during the flight. Initially the issues was regarding the UIAutomationCore.dll. I've pasted it on fsx path and this issue stops happen, but sometimes the error application hang suddenly occurs. I've looked for some other threads in this forum but i didn't find nothing helpful for me. I don't have any add on installed, the issue occurs even using aircraft and scneries default. When I start FSX I see the splashscreen and then the programs stops. If I login on my PC as administrator, FSX runs normal. The crash was caused again when running the PMDG 737 NGX visual approach at LOWI (with the Aerosoft Inssbruck sceney). The error message said that my graphic card AMD Radion 6800 has to less memory. I was thinking about reinstalling PMDG 737 NGX but since FSX works fine with the administrator login, I think this isn't nescessary. Hello, yesterday FSX was working perfectly fine, I shut down my computer last night and when I booted my computer this morning to play FSX I got a black screen where the aircraft preview is, it also had a black screen when loading the sim, resulting in it never loading. So I inserted my discs and used the repair function and now whenever I try to start fsx it opens the FSX title page for a few seconds and then I get a fatal error and a CTD. Does anyone know of a solution. If this helps my specs are 6 GB of generic RAM, Intel i5-2320 @3.0GHZ and an NVIDIA GTX 660 OC.

Just started recently when trying to start ASE, the program crashes. Appcrashview shows the crash is from the KernelBase.dll. module. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. Thanks Arnold

Hi guys, first post here so I have had FSX for ages now and finally got a decent system to run it on, An HP Computer with an AMD Phenom ii x4 965 processor at 2.9 GHz, 3 GB RAM, A AMD HD Sapphire 7750 GDDR5 1GB graphics card and 500GB memory space, however mid flight when playing FSX just freezes i.e. the display stops moving, the sound continues yet the flight panels freeze as well as the aircraft itself. Sorry if I've missed topics on this already. Just about every time I use the PMDG 737ngx around brisbane australia airport with ORBX add on fsx usually seems to freeze and says fsx is not responding. It usually happens when leaving or arriving. This doesn't seem to happen when I'm at default fsx airports with the same aircraft or any other for that matter So my question is two pronged I guess, does anyone know what might be causing this? (This is a how long is a piece of string question I know) or if you can swap sceneries around. Hi all I recently joined a virtual airline and a lot of the routes that I would like to fly use the Beechcraft 1900D. I have installed the Premier Aircraft Design freeware model provided on the website (both automatically and installing away from the FSX root directory and manually moving the folders myself) but am having problems. Whenever I load the aircraft one of two things happens: the flight loading bar stays at 0% with the curser in the circular loading shape - it normally moves beyond this point almost immediately and I have tried leaving it like this for several minutes - or either immediately or within a few minutes of loading the flight I get a fatal erro…

FSX just doesn't give any brakes. When I though I had the beast tamed (no more g3d errors, CTDs, OOMs,..) suddenly those black screens appear - the screen goes completely black but the sound is still playing. I can end the flight (if I press ESC when it goes black I can see the end flight and continue flight buttons) but in FSX interface window where the airplane should be is also black. If I restart FSX all is back to normal (no computer restart needed). The weird part is this happens a few minutes after I press pause (P). My problem is that sometimes, actually most of the times that i tried to exit fsx this is not happen as it has to be and a box with "fatal error occured" appears and after that the FSX is restarting. Hi All, I’ve got a bit of an odd problem here, I’ve recently updated my graphics cards from 1 x GTX580 to 2 x GTX760’s and have done from 1 x 23” widescreen to 3 x 27” widescreens running in Nvidia’s wide gaming mode that allows 5760 x 1080 resolution. I’ve read on these forums whenever you do a change like this its best to reset the FSX.cfg file and allow it recreate with all the new hardware and displays which I’ve done.
