My FSX was working beautifully until yesterday. All the sudden, I started getting all the usual CTD symtoms. What was peculiar was I could fly the standard FSX aircraft without changing airports or anything, but if I used a non-FSX aircraft (Feel There, Just Flight, PMDG, Abacus, etc.) it would CTD almost immediately after pressing the Fly button. Uninstalled FSX and all aircraft and utilities and stuff, re-installed, still same after the fresh install. Moved and removed all the standard DLL fixes - still no luck. Hi, After a series of crashing from clicking on anything in the in-game toolbar i completely re-installed fsx (Deluxe W/Accelaration). Howeverm when getting back on to test before i added any addons, the problem was back. The game just crashed to desktop and says it stops working. Ive tried the UIAutomation core fix soo many time without success. Before i uninstalled i had brief success with running as admin, but soon after it died. Hello! My FSX always crashes, when I fly Airbus X Extended (Version 1,16), after flying about 30 minutes. Everything goes fine until FSX freezes and then stops. I have uiautomaticcore.dll fix. I have already tried: -Reset FSX.cfg -Reinstal IvAp -Lower settings -Run as administrator -Run IvAp as in external mode My specs: Intel Core i5-3350P | NVIDIA GTX660 3 GB | 8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz. So FSX has ran great for months, can fly 14 hrs without OOM`s or other issues. I did upgrade my BIOS the other day on the ASUS P8P67Pro Rev 3.1 as I`m going to stick a 7 series card in it before I get a gen 3 motherboard and CPU. My overclock is stable and temps are very good, better than with the older bios I was running. Maybe someone has an idea. I recently started getting OOMs in the NYC area. Yes, I have a lot of add on scenery in that area, specifically Imaginesim KLGA, FSDT KJFK v2, and Megascenery Earth 2.0 New York (photo scenery), and Megascenery Earth 2.0 Ultra Res City - NYC (high resolution photo scenery). The only recent changes/additions were an upgrade from FSDT KJFK v1 to v2, and adding the Megascenery ultra res NYC photo scenery. The question that I have is related to photo scenery in this situation. If you have two photo scenery packages like Megascenery Earth that cover the same geographic area, but one is a higher resolution and has a higher priority in the scenery library, do both packa…

Just recenlty I was flying from Stockholm to Sarajevo on IVAO. 25 min before T/D FSX froze, which for me is normal since I just have to wait for about 7 minutes for it to respond. But this time FSX just gave up and crashed... With only 30 mins left on the flight you kinda want to punch the screen....hard....with a chair. Hey, My FSX will not open back up after i Alt+Tabbed out of fsx to check something, and i am in the middle of my longest VA flight to date. I really need some help with getting it back up and running normally. Any tips?

Hello Avsim Community!!! So here's my problem. When I fly with ACARS for AAvirtual my simulator will sometimes just crash. No warning no message, just crash. Good afternoon guys, Recently I've been getting a BSOD that is tied to the ntoskrnl.exe file. I've searched for fixes on Google, however, none of the people who had this problem had it while playing FSX. I know that it is a memory related issue but I've been running FSX for almost a year now with few blue screens. The only thing I can blame for the increase of the blue screens, (since I can fly one flight but then get a blue screen on the next), is that I installed REX last week. I've been struggling with CTD issues for a long time, and think I have narrowed the cause down to EZDok. This happens frequently when changing between full screen and windowed, and if I access any of the FS Menus mid flight. Sometimes even using the FMC in the NGX will do it. At all times there is no error message, just a CTD and game over. Anyone else get this? Is there anything I can do about it?!

I am posting the report as I become crazy with fsx SP2 crash. I have many addons, lots of aircraft, sometimes it works for hours, but mainly with helicopters, you select it and it CTD directly. Happen with the default bell 206, sometimes with the EH101, but with a Mil-17 nothing??? problems of fps also same scenery I can take 60fps, I change aircraft, down to 30fps, reselect the previous aircraft down to 10 fps and never increase again. First I download the PMDG 737, I get a skeleton exterier view. Then I can't go into windowed mode. And then my default 172's cameras won't work from EZDOC. The PMDG problem started first, the other two problems started later.

This happens only perhaps 10-20% of the time. When I go to Flight Planner in the FS menu bar and scroll down to click on a saved flight plan (.pln) in the drop-down window, FS9 hangs. Nothing I click on then functions and the only way to 'escape' is to close the FS9.exe process in the Task manager. (In fact, it is so common that I have created a link to a batch file on my desktop which does this!). When I restart FS and try the same again, same a/c, same plan, it invariably then works fine, so it's not the plan itself that is at fault (created by FSNavigator). Happens with whatever plane I am flying, and whatever airport as far as I can see.. It's been happening …

Recently, I installed the Leonardo MD-80. Followed all the steps, and the only thing it did differently than any other addon installation was doing something to the AIRAC files. Anyways, I started up FSX and launched the MD 80. First thing I noticed was the lack of a VC. Then, I click ALT to bring up the little menu bar at the top and I noticed that my addons menu was missing! I uninstalled the MD-80 and did a system restore. Still no addons menu, and now whenever I exit a flight, no main menu comes up, only a message saying a fatal error occured. No addons menu means I can't alter various settings of addons like sound, fuel,etc. And now it crashes after every flight…

FSX was running fine last night but tonight I could not get past the initial screen. Any ideas?

I am turning here because the forum was of great help with past issues I had, (missing landing gear on CS aircraft), anyway, my latest issue is this; My FSX seemed pretty stable under Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. I had just purchased PMDG 737 NGX and the 600 series add on a few days later and it seemed to install and run well, but I got part of the way through the first tutorial and the sim locked up. Probably out of memory due to the 32 bit limits, (I have 8 gig on board). I have received this BSOD on and off for many months. Now I am beginning to believe that I have solved it! From my ASUS booting screen, I pressed Delete to get the EFI BIOS Utility - EZ Mode. From this I chose Advanced Mode and changed the Ai Overclock Tuner from Manual to XMP. The XMP description says that when XMP is enabled BCLK frequency, CPU ratio and memory parameters will be auto optimized. This is all gobbledegoop to me. Result: After a lot of flying since, I have not had this BSOD again. My PC performance does not appear to have been degraded. I am now a happy man :mellow: . Until the next BSOD, that is!
