So I did a flight from KPHX to KSEA today using Avialsoft's EFB. When it was producing the flight plan it said there was an error with KSEA, that some of the runways were bad. 2 and half hours into the flight, just before Top of Descent, I looked down and set a DME station in the NavCom and reached up to the MCP to turn the course nob and suddenly the sim just froze in place. Sound was still playing. Frozen screen. EFB paused on the Display unit. I got no crash message. No Fatal Crash screen. No FSX has stop responding. Just solid frozen screen. Hi, My fsx kept not starting, so I reinstalled FSX. Now, whenever I choose a plane, and press "FLY NOW" there is no loading screen and there is a Fatal Error. Yes, I have the AutomationCore.dll in the FSX main folder. What can be the issue?

Hi, been lurking in the forums for some time. I've doing a lo tflying recently with NGX but switched today to the Aerosoft Airbus X for a change (v1.15 with hotfix 18c). All day the sim has been going for about 10 minutes then freezes and brings up "FSX has stopped working". Spent most of today trying to resolve to no avail. The event log suggests this is to do with FSX itself (I think) but having just tested, no other aircraft has the same problem. Very strange. any suggestions...please. Hi all i have a strange problem with a freeware AC, boeing 737-200. Airplane works fine, all the things works fine, i have 30 fps into cockpit, but when desingage AP i hear the sound ( default sound i guess) of desingage and FSX freeze and then crash to desktop. I had a look in the win7 registry and i see that error is caused by a dll in 'gauges' folder. If i delete this dll half panel of the aircraft obviously disappear. Someone have an idea to solve that? good day I just got a bring new computer and I have installed FSX with acceleration in and tried to do a flight with the PMDG Queen after about 2 hours it did a CTD now I am 99 percent sure it has to do with the UiAutomation Core problem Now is it possible someone out there could give me detail steps into how to fix this I am not to computer smart so please make it as detailed as possible thanks Ian Snow

According to AppCrash my FSX keeps crashing around RCTP due to this module: StackHash_3e9b I can use FSX with dx10fixer free of problems in other places, but when departing RCTP at some point it crashes. Sometimes when loading, sometimes already in flight. I have changed AFCADs, used different a/c and weather programs and eacht time AppCrash reports the same module to be the culprit. A search on my pc did not disclose it. Anybody any idea where to look for this module or which program creates it? Complete error log below. Hi All, Sadly, after thinking going DX10 would eliminate these.... I got the latest CTD Three times, twice whilst loading up a flight, and once in flight about an hour in. No OOM, VAS was fine! Got my settings set pretty low so as to acheive nice smooth flight, so no worries about high settings... Something is amiss. has anyone heard of an issue like this before? i've been having a lot of crashes recently after months of smooth flying. some of them are pretty bad like actually forcing a reboot. by luck i found a 100% repeatable case, when i load at a particular gate in kmci default airport it will crash every time, but only if i load during the night! during the day it loads and runs perfectly. i also found a gate where this happens at ksfo. typically the crashes will happen within a few minutes of loading anywhere but something about these spots seems to make the issue occur right away. any ideas where to start looking for something that could cause that? maybe a corru…

Everytime I select something from the menu I get a crash. I used the AVSIM hardware/software guide, downloaded the UIAutomationcore.dll and placed it in the FSX root folder, renaming it to < and it still happens.

Hi thanks for helping me out, I've encountered some problems. Ever since I installed a tweak by venetubo.com, when flying fsx for 10 - 20 mins so, the computer just stops. How so you ask? it just freezes the screen, mouse, you can't do anything, no not responding nothing, just freeze. Hi all, So this time, I'm not exactly getting a direct crash to desktop forcing me look throughout the event viewer for the problem. The problem looks like the picture shown below and it happens at random with airports I have scenery for and don't have scenery for. I have SweetFX installed and I am thinking that SweetFX is the culprit but since it's an obvious problem with graphics, it could really be anything. Any ideas are extremely helpful. Thanks, - Ryan

I have been reading a lot of informations about DX10 before Steve released his fixer and when it was out I bought it straight away. But since then I am always having CTD related to atidxx32.dll file. I have searched on google and this forum but can not find any solution. I have i72600K oc to 4.0Ghz, 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz, ATI 7870 with the newest driver 13.9 and Radeon pro installed, Windows 7 64bit The strange this is that the CTD always happened during approach to any airport. Hi there,i've installed FSX now for about 2 weeks on a brand new system, but it freezes randomly, without doing nothing particular. It freezes when flying 'offline', it freezes when flying default planes, it freezes when flying payware planes (like LDS 767X, PMDG MD11X), it freezes when flying at night... I've been pully my hair our for weeks with a crashing FSX. I started having StackHash crashes, and I think I that the problem arose from either the way things were ordered in my dll.xml file, or the file was corrupted. I checked the file in XML Notepad and did not see any errors. Anyway, I moved the dll.xml file to a safe place, and then reinstalled FSUIPC. By doing this I got a new dll.xml file with just an entry for FSUIPC. I then copied the entries from the old dll.xml file, starting with FSUIPC, Orbx and other scenery, then aircraft related entries. Hello, Today I tried to fly in the CTP event, and a few minutes after pushback, my computed was stuck. I opened the task manager to see that my CPU usage has gone up to 100%. It happened with the NGX, Flytampa Boston and FS Global, and FSINN connected to VATSIM. It happened a couple of times before. I have i5 2500, GTX560 TI and 8gb ram. Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Any help would be really appreciated!

I purchased PDGM's 747-400 about two years ago. But starting yesterday, "Fatal Error" messages would pop up and reboot FSX. It usually starts up after a few minutes at the airport terminal and usually when I change screens. I had this problem when I first purchased add ons for FSX two years ago and only after an hour of flying, but the problem was resolved with adding UIAutomationCore.dll to FSX and had not had a fatal error since. I also purchased FSUIPC yesterday but still have the fatal error issue. This appears to only occur with PDGM 747, but not other add-ons. I use Windows 7. A few days ago, i was having a problem with my 737NGX where the 2D panel, is nearly nose down, i don't use it often, but my view is obstructed if i have to use it, i decided to tweak the .CFG to see if this would work, then went to sleep, when i wake up the next morning to do a flight, the FSX interface will open however when i have the plane, airport and time set and click "FLY NOW" the loading bar appears on my desktop and when complete nothing loads, no aircraft all i see is my desktop. Hello, I have really been struggling with out of memory errors of recent. I am not sure what is causing it. I used to think it was the PMDG 777, but today it happened flying the Airbus X Extended on a hour long flight nearing final. I have read through a lot of posts and tried many things, including increasing the VAS on my S drive (where fsx is on my system), and only having the sceneries I am using for that particular trip to be active. Can someone help me here? Greatly appreciated!
