FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 (FS9 Legacy Button Control)

Hi,I don't want to sound pushy or anything, because I'm not. I was just curious as to the status of the 744 Update which was to include new cities. Haven't seen or heard anything about it in quite some time. Is this project still going forward?Thanks for any info. I love the product!David

As far as I could see there is no Demo version. So I just had a few questions. First, I saw the engine start video and noticed the crew started 3 and 4 then 1 and 2. Is there anyways to change the start sequence to 1 and 4 then 2 and 3? Next, I use FSPassengers. Will FS2Crew interfere with it? Or could I even use this as a replacement since I mainly use it for the cabin crew announcements (like the safety review and landing announcements)?Finally, can I choose what items the CO actually controls and also what callouts they makes? e.g. 80kts,V1,VR,V2 (I use the PMDG callouts)From what I've seen, it looks very impressive. I'm sure a lot of you guys here have already realized this, but for those of us who have had problems (especially during the after landing checklist) with the PMDG 747 main overhead panel completely blocking your vision when automatically called up by FS2crew, you can simply re-size this window and FS2crew will still function perfectly.From the VC, press Shift-2 to bring up the Main Overhead, then using your mouse resize the main overhead panel before commencing a flight with FS2Crew (you can really make it super small), and then 'grab' the resized window and move to a corner or whereever it's the least obtrusive. Not sure in anyone else has experienced this but I have the following bug when using FS2crew and the PMDG 747 (I have all current patches installed on both):I specify NAI during the pre-flight and a PACKS off configuration during the takeoff brief. F/O turns on NAI as briefed before taxiDuring BTO checklist, captain calls for checklist down to PACKS.During TO/AT checklist during runway entry, F/O calls PACKS on/aircraft pressurizing and completes TO checklist (before aircraft has even left the ground!) Hi,Just wondering why the F/O blanks out lower CRT as part of his flow after engine start? During normal FS2Crew ops after engine start, the Captain voice asks for takeoff flaps and then I begin to check control movement via the lower CRT status page. Right in the middle of my control checks, the F/O blanks out the lower screen and I have to slap him. :)On the real 747 of course, the pilot references the lower CRT status page during control checks to observe correct movement of the control surfaces. My F/O insists on blanking out my screen in the middle of this process, grrrrr. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!

DOORS - This is where it all starts. I uninstalled and reinstalled FS2C and patched it. There isn't anything assigned for the doors, at all. Hi, everyone, I have a problem with the strobe light and the beacon light. It seems that when the FO should turn on the strobe light, he turn on the beacon and when he should turn on the beacon, he turn on the strobe instead. In the after landing he does the same. What goes in Assumed Temperature in the FP? Is this outside temperature at takeoff? Degrees C or F? The range is only 30 - 60 so if it is outside temperature what if it is colder or hotter than the range? Everything else works fine and makes sense to me except for this.Please help, thanks!Mike

Hi Guys!!!After some time after buying the product finally yesterday i did make a flight using FScrew.. Acrtually the flight was the tutorial.Well All the flight was pretty ok but i had the following two problems:1) The door L1 didnt close and the other doors neither!! I had to close them manually but the L1 didn close manualy..All the keys are set in the pmds doors menu like it is written in the instructions..2) After transition altitude prssing on the std the altimeter dont show the grenn STD but is always yellow with the actual altimeter setting. I do have to set the altimeter manually but it is always yellow and nont in STD. While in the Forst officer Pane the altimet…

I tried it twice and love it like the other ones I got (737, ATR, 767). One thing I could not get to work was not on FS2C but on the PMDG 747 FMC. On the Des Forecast Page when I tried to change the transition altitude to 14000 (tutorial Korea to Japan) from 18000 the FMC would never accept the input saying it was invalid. Tried inputing FL140 and 14000 but it always said that it was invalid. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Please help. Thanks.Great addon!Mike

On my maiden flight with fs2crew 744, after start, the FO didnt perform his flow. I was also having a porblem with left clicking. The pushback utility would only count down and left clicking could do nothing.Any reason on the left clicking problem?I have a hunch the after start flow was due to me pressing the main button before the FO had time to finish the flow.

I having some problems while in flight, while in cruise i seem to lose airspeed (or wont hold airspeed that set in FMC for that desire flight level example 84.3 at FL340 ) the Vnav switches off and FL CH comes on why does this happen i seem to program the FMC correctly and i use FS Build for planning routes and active sky for my weather any help or advice would be gratefulMichael Troy

Hi everybody,I read this forum since a few days but still hesitate before buying what I'm sure is a great add-on to the PMDG 747.My main question is about the VC mode and the demo video from FS2Crew website :I read somewhere (but maybe I'm wrong) that the F/O has to open the overhead panel to activate some switches. OK but on the demo video it seems a "reduced size" overhead panel is open to perform some tasks and a few minutes later in the viedo, a "full size" overhead panel is open. But i installed it to my FS9 folder, and now on the Start Panel, it says it can't find the PMDG 747 version, and that i need to correct the registy entry for FS2004, and that it cannof find the fs9.exe!
