Hey everyone, I have a little problem that I cannot resolve. I mean like I've tried everything and nothing worked..I just recently purchased the FS2Crew for the PMDG 747's for Fs9 and I love it. I've been flying the PMDG for a long time now and I always start my flight with Cold and Dark..I mean everything is OFF..once I installed the Fs2Crew my packs don't want to turn on and I have problems starting my engines..it sounds like they want to kick on and then just shut off, kick on and shut off...does anyone else have that problem? If you guys have a solution please tell me :)..is it because I do a full COLD and Dark? I have loaded the FS2Crew panel state but I don't lik…

Hello,I am interested in purchasing this product, but I have a few questions before I do. First, the product description page tells of dealing with "sick passengers" as part of (I assume) a failures simulation? And screenshot shows a broken windshield. Is there a way to toggle failures off? I will occasionally get up from a long flight and would hate to return to an aircraft spinning out of the sky.Second, can I select how much control I give the FO? Can I give him flaps but not gear, for example?Lastly, is there crew other than the FO? I thought I read somewhere there is a virtual cabin crew, but that isn't on your website.Thanks!

Hi,I read in the PMDG 747 FAQ section that FSCrew conflicts with FSInn, I know this was posted in September 2006 but wondered does FSCrew still cause this problem? Or has this been sorted ? And if not do I need to uninstall FSInn still ? or what do I do?And I'm thinking of purchasing the PMDG 747 Combi and MD-11 Combi aswell as PMDG 737-6/7/8/9 edition would be grateful for any responses as? Are the others ok with FSInn? MD-11 ? I do most of my flying online with VATSIM and using FSINN and this has got me concerned as to buying this product since reading that? I am trying to install PMDG 747-400 on FS9.FS9 and FSX are both installed on drive D:/I get a message: Installation cannot continue. You do not have Flight Simulator installed.I can not browse to the D:/ drive at the installation.I have tried also the FS_Registry_Repair.exe but it does not help.Is there a solution to this problem?Thank you for your attention.RegardsRakham

Well, the other day i installed the pmdg 747 for fs9. Then I installed a couple liveries from the PMDG site. I open up fs9 but the liveries i installed arent there but the the default PMDG liveries are there. So i open the PMDG folder and the aircraft.cfg entries are there and the textutes are there also in the same folder. Someone please help.

Hello everyone from Spain!!I was doing a little training the other day with my PMDG 747-400 and I saw a strange thing. The EICAS engine indications (N1, N2, etc...) overlapped themselves making it very difficult to read the parameters at the bottom of each engine's indicator tapes (white tapes). Also, the cabin altitude titles and readouts were so close together that the word "altitude" from Cabin Altitude overlapped with the first two or three numbers of the reading. I don't know if I explained myself clearly.Does anyone know how to solve this little (but annoying at times)issue? :( Thanks in advance and sorry for my English!!

Hi all,I use FS2crew for the 747, and also VRinsight for the 747. My problem is that when I use the FS2crew key log, my MCP stops working, I get the usual radio controls, but the EFIS and the MCP portion just do not work.Does anyone else use this combination and if so how do you get the two to work together?Thanks,Chris WillisCVHK line pilot

when i call for engine start it says "starting 4 and 3"this is what happensall four of the start switches come out with white dots...then 4 and 3 go back down off...the same thing happens to the fuel leversyes i loaded the right panal statethanks

Hi Bryan, I read on the FS2Crew manual that all the doors are controlled by FS2Crew at pre-determined times. I have Aerosoft EAS, that models the fingers on the 1L and 2L doors, the stair on the 5L door, the catering on 2R and 5R doors, the cargo loaders on fwd and aft cargo. Therefore I would like to control manually those doors and have them open when the corresponding service is active. Is there a way to do that? If not, do these doors match those opened and closed by FS2Crew? Thanks.James

Bryan, concerning the mini Panels and the big overhead panel popping up during the 747 operations, couldn't it be possible to make these panels 100% transparent, so that they are not in view? Since I use only VC, it's not so nice and realistic to have the 2D panels pop up.Thank you.James

Hi Just brought the 747 version for FS9 , but now the Go around button ( little screw) no longer works, the A/C was fully set up including FMC etc .. it was working fine pre FS2CREW, any ideas ? thanks Rich

After a search I see a few people have mentioned creating a British voice set. Did anyone ever manage to achieve this? If so I'd be hugely grateful if there was a way for me to obtain a copy from somewhere.Cheers

I've recently loaded a copy of the PMDG 747 program but am having the following problem.About a minute after loading the aircraft in FS9 the panel fails and all instrument screens go black. I've searched the overhead and all panel pop ups for an instrument master or activation switch but can't find one.The FMC works and accepts a flight plan and all pop ups and switches seem to work ok as well - but no CRT screen indications on the main panel.Could someone kindly help out.Thanks.Ron

Hi,Recently on a LAX-LHR flight, I found that the DH/DA function wasn't doing what I thought it would have done.EGLL's airport elevation according to my charts is 83 feet. So I set 80 feet in the FP page of FS2Crew..On the page where the DH/DA is asked (approach briefing I think?) I set it to 200. D/H is decision height, and D/A... decision altitude? I don't know what the difference is if there is one.Anyway, on this flight the weather was good and I usually use 200 as a D/H in good weather so that's what I did (on the AB page and on the PFD).I monitored when the F/O called 300 above. Hi, first post.I just installed this a few days back, and tried it on an overnight flight from KSEA to EGLL. I usually fly these kinds of routes often with the PMDG 747, I go to bed during the cruise. Yes, unrealistic, but still. I use pause at TD just incase I sleep to long.With FS2Crew, the departure was great, it really adds to the experience. However I woke up and found my plane bouncing on the ground in Syria...So it didn't pause, although I checked several times and the option was set. Im trying to debug this. Im on the ground bouncing, the autopilot is on and the fuel is on 0.I had put in a TON of fuel for this flight, 70 000 pounds more just in case something woul…

Hi all,I have just purchased the PMDG 747-400 for FS9. When I install I get the following message: -"FS9 version 9.1.0.40901 (FS9.1 at least)required. You only have FS9 Version 9.0.0.30612 installed. I'm sorry if this has been asked before - I did do a search to see if it was, and found nothing - but its been driving me nuts!I fly the PMDG7474-400 into Frankfurt quie a lot. I have the latest Navigraph airac on board and I checked the correct frequency for the ILS for Runway 07L at Frankfurt on the ** website. The ILS frequency for 07L is 110.10. When I select the ILS for 07L the FMC selects this frequency 110.10, but when I fly through the localiser and hitt the APP button - I get NAV INVALID on the FMC and the aircraft flies through the localiser and captures neither the localiser or glideslope. I have no idea why this is happening - but if anyone can explain it …
