FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 (FS9 Legacy Button Control)

After solving the engine start problem now fspassengers with fs2crew is making my mind confused. At first I disabled the door handling in fspax. And than the passemgers couldn' load because the doors were closed (physicaly they were open when looking from the spot plane view). So I needed to press SHIFT+E, then they entered the plane. In the next flight I checked "hostes controls the door" in fspassengers. This time the bulk cargo door was open and it was impassible to close it. Hello gentlemen,I don't understand what happened between last night and today, but I used the load manager (I can NEVER manually edit fuel/pax/cargo even with the latest version!) and went to fly the 744. The fuel was full no matter what I want the manager to do, and the pax/cargo weight was also full. This has NEVER happened before. For example, I load 214,000 lbs of fuel and a ZFW of 428.088 for a regular run I do almost weekly. But now it comes up full and with a GW of MAX! Also, the 744 Freight version has DISAPPEARED! I' m using Fs2crew with Fs passengeres (but i also start fs2crew wihtout pspax, and the problem still remains), main and sec buttons are set to TAB, and SHIFT+TAB respectively, on the keyboard.The problem is: After activating ES, when I push the main button (TAB) for the 1st time, FO selects the pack selectors off and calls "recall". Just after that, the captain starts to say "start 1&2 please" (without my main button command). Then all the things confuses at this point. I've been using FS2Crew for some time now without any problem. Recently when exiting to FS9 from the Start Center, or clicking on the PMDG 747 tab, I've been getting the Warning - 'unable to find fs9.exe. You need to correct the registry file for FS2004 before using this feature. See the FS2 Crew Forum for support'.Which registry file; where is it; how do I do it?I tried downloading the latest start center update again, but the same warning is given. I purchased FS2Crew electronically from Flight1 so I can't reinstall.Any ideas?ThanksBernard

Anyway to turn down the voices associated with FS2Crew. I have to turn down my volume on my speakers so that they arent blowing me away....After I do that ATC and everything else is very quite. Also wasnt there a different sound set available somewhere? Thanks in advancecdog

Hi Bryan,I just purchased FS2Crew for the PMDG 747 for FS9.I haven't flown the tutorial flight as yet as I am still going through all the steps toward that flight one step at a time. It's what I do, just pick my way through. So far it looks like it could be a fun product to play with.In order for you to understand where I am going with this, I should tell you that I fly the PMDG 747 pretty much exclusively, and my base of operations is in Salt Lake City, UT. in the last couple of days ive begun receiving a "dont sink" warning from the gpws. im getting this warning now on every approach from around 100 - 200 feet agl, just before & during the landing flare. any suggestios on whats causing this would be a big help. also, where can i learn more about how to program assignments for the auto pilot & toga.thanks in advance for any help, steve

Hi all,I've just purchased this a week ago and I love it. :) But I've run into some difficulty...When the F/O calls the HF centre, he always says "Thai 12." He never says the actual flight number that I've imputed into the start centre or the FP page. Liewise, the Capt also says "Thai 12" during his radio transmissions and other voice things. I am having consistant problems with ground steering after landing. Don't know if my system is loading up or what. It has happend the last 5 flights without fail. While trying to taxi off the active, the A/C nose swings back and forth wildly. It responds to the joystick but not in a controllable sense. Also takes more thrust that normal to move. Have checked all onboard systems, and there are no problems and no warnings/cautions...nothing.Tried uninstall/re-install for the 747 and FS. Still having the problem with fresh installs. i have the 747 running in fs9. with the exception of the flight director, pmdg did a great job as everything else works very well. i have been using the cross hair version flight director & notice that the movements are exagerated. if i need to make a 10 degree turn, the flight director will command a 25 degree bank. when rolling to a 25 degree bank, the flight directors will sense the over controlling & then command a more realistic roll. the same can be said of the pitch commands. also, ive noticed the pitch will give correct inputs but is just very slow in giving the correct commands, needing to wait 3 -5 seconds for the flight director to "catch up". an…

There seems to be a memory leak somewhere...I always get an OOM crash...but only when I use FS2crew in conjuction with PMDG 747-400. It usually happens towards the end of the flight. Virtual memory starts at 1.65 and usually crashes when it goes over 1.7. When I don't use FS2crew my virtual memory starts at 1.25 and never goes above 1.5. Hi all I have a small problem. I just reinstalled my FS9 and PMDG 747. My problem starts after loading , my engine, gps, and pitch window is visible only for a minute and then the 3 screens go black. I never had this before, please send suggestions.Thank You

Hi Captains,I have must downloaded and installed FS2Crew for PMDG 747 FS9. the installation has worked fine, and everything has loaded properly. I have assigned the main and secondary joystick buttons and the app loads in fs9. I am now currently working my way through the tutorials etc.So far, so good.However, FS2Crew produces NO sound - every time a sound-file should be played, there s a quiet crackling radio-static-type sound, but that's all.I have reset the Gauge sound in the start centre and have checked the sliders in the fs9 sound menu. the WAVs themselves in the main FS"Crew folder are fine when played in Media Player even if they are also VEY quiet here too). I know this may sound a stupid question but I have the PMDG 747 and I am thinking about getting Ultimate Traffic. Would the Tcas in the 747 pick up the AI traffic in UT or is it random just for effect? I know that Ultimate traffic comes with its own Tcas, would I need to install that, if so how does it fit in the 747 panel?

Hi all,I have a slight problem when trying to follow the ops manual flight. I set everything up fine, do all the prefilghts etc., call for pushback, start the engines and do my pre flight check list. At the end it says that the FO should call for taxi clearance but there is no call. I tried getting clearance myself but the ATC will not work.I have all updates installed.Will it take a while for the FO to get clearance (am I being too impatient) or is this a know problem with a quick fix. I would like to get this bird off the deck.Any help would be great

When ever I try to start a flight with PMDG's 747 and the FS2Crew panel config file and key assignments file active my fs9 crashes immediately.I have tried re-installing FS2crew and update 1.2 and the problem still occurs even though when I first installed many months ago it was working perfectly! When i load the 747 and go into 3D cockpit, within seconds all the MFD's turn to black screens? Does anyone else have or had this problem and what can i do to fix it.Frustrated Qantas pilot

I've recently got AES for EGLL.I want to intergate this as much as possible with my exisiting FS2Crew (PMDG 747 Ver).IIRC on the 737 version there is an option not to pushback (i.e. none gate start).Is it possible to run all the pushing back checklist but just not actually pushback via Fs2Crew?

Any way to turn down the sounds coming from teh FS2crew it is so loud that I have to turn down my speakers which means I cant here default sounds like atc from fs2004. Thanks in advancecdog
