After updating FSX to service pack 1, when I go to use my FS9 I now find that my PMDG load managers will not work, also my FS2crew centre will not work and my Active Camera has been reduced back to demo mode ??For FS2Crew,when using the crew centre, if you select either of the LDS767 or PMDG 747 tabs the message " FS2Crew levelD 767 edition not detected.Funtctions on the tab will be INOP" ( same for 747 )And to top it all my active camera installation has reverted beck to demo mode ?????FS9 is flying fine, so what is going on ??? Hi Bryan,I have another one question to you please. I train traffic pattern to test TO and futher procedures now, so I start Fs2crew without predeparture events. I begin on AT/T with runway entering procedure, but I fill predeparture briefing (because of flaps setting). All runs well, but when I am between 400-900 fts and press secondary button to command HEADING SEL, nothing happens, but it seems, that Fs2crew remember my click, because as I climb to 1000 ft, I hear my AP engage command - without second click on secondary button. But I hear "heading select" sooner, when I arm AT/T before entering the runway. What is wrong? Can you help me?Best RegardsJiri

Hi Bryan,Question for you (and I have searched): Regarding the Approach page "DA/DH", is the DA/DH value a radio height or a pressure height ?I just want to have the FS2Crew call "Decide" at the same time as the PMDG "Minimums" call. Do I have to change the "Radio 400" on the PFD? Or just put the decision height from the Charts into the DA/DH box ?I realise there's a lengthy answer involving Cat 1 Cat 2 etc but if there's a short answer for a normal ILS approach then great :-)Pardon my somewhat ignorant style.

I've been using FS2 Crew with PMDG 747-400 for some time now without any problems. I've recently downloaded service update 1.2 and whether this is pure coincidence or not I'm unsure. When I load the FS2Crew Setup.sav panel at the beginning of a flight I notice that the engines are already running. Consequently when I order pushback and engine start the FO turns off the engines. This is really annoying as I like to simulate a flight as close as possible to procedures and hear the engines fire up.I can get over things by skipping the predeparture events and plan the flight with the engines running. I order pushback but not engine start. I can then proceed from the before ta…

I actually bought this about a month ago. Software is really cool. I haven't used it in a while so I thought I would try and get back into using it again with the PMDG 747. I'm going through the tutorial that came with this software but I'm currently turned off by this statement:http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/4117/untitled1ek8.jpgBecause my setup consist of 2 17" monitors. Do the aircraft problems reported during preflight persist until you choose the correct button when calling maintenance?For the last 6 (I think) flights in a row, my pmdg 747 has had tape machine malfunctions. I call maintenance and choose "IFE" (I'm assuming that's for in-flight entertainment system which would logically be/include/cover the tape machine)... But the next time, it's broken again..... May be less than 6, I'm not sure, don't remember exactly, but it's enough times to make me wonder.....Does the problem persist until I find the right button, or am I just getting bad luck in its randomness?

I don't hear the normal engines sounds, thrust on takeoff or spot view sounds since installing and using FS2crew? I have some sounds like you hear from the cockpit with all the systems running but without any deviation on throttle settings.................HELP

Hello everyone,I'm just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the pushback sequence of FS2Crew for the PMDG 747. The chap pushing me back seems to enjoy pushing from Heathrow terminal one to somewhere around Esher Common before he says "pushback complete". I have to intervene, of course, but it puts the pushback/taxi out sequence a little out of sinque.I remember some third party pushback guages doing something similar when set to 90 degree turn in the push. I have used 80 degrees or less but still get the occasional tug which wants to push me back home. Am I the only one? If not, any way around this? I appreciate any help but this is not too big of a deal for…

Hello!Installed the 1.2 update today, but the SPD and HDG selectors on the MCP are not responding. The only way to get it to work is restore original PMDG747 panel config. I've tried to reinstall both FS2Crew and the PMDG747, but that didn't help.Anyone else having this problem?

Maybe this is a not so smart question but..where is TOD...is that the segment of a flight where the cruise alt now turns to a much lower alt and descent on the LEGS (FMC)???And Why the plane doesn't go to descent considering i filled in all proper FMC data. theplane doesn't do descent (i armed VNAV/LNAV)(based on the default flight RKSI-RJAA)and in the DES FORCAST- i can't change the TRANS ALT frm fl 180(18000ft)to FL140 (14000ft)???and in the TAKEOFF..its calc onthe FMC to use trim 5.3 while in the checklist run up the captain says it will be on 5.5 zero and zero, and what does "zero and zero" means?and inthe approach mode i entered flps and showedthe proper v speeds..bu…

Hi,So far after installing the update and reconfiguring via the start center, I've found the following:The number 2 hydraulic demand pump is left in the 'off' position when the hydraulics are pressurized via the checklist. This is incorrect.Also, I have not noticed a increased time duration before the F/O blanks the lower CRT display after engine start in complete, as described in the update .PDF manual. It is still impossible for me to complete my control checks before this blanking of the lower CRT. ------------------------------------------------------------I start each flight via the F2Crew supplied saved flight parameters, btw.

Hi Everyone,I was flying the LDA 26L into PHNL today and I came in a bit high so I wouldn't dip my wing into Mamala Bay during my final turn. After the turn I made a quick decent to touchdown. Through out the last few moments, Steve was calling out, "Decent Rate" the whole time. Is there anyway to disable that? (Aside from not decending quickly.)He also calls out, "taxi speed" when I go over 27kts. I was on a long straight taxiway and was trying to save time. I've been on a few aircraft that did that in real life so I know it happens.
