FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 (FS9 Legacy Button Control)

Hi Guys ive been playing PMDG and FS2Crew for ages and today when i load a flight and do flight planning when i click on a checlist and hit my main button nothing happens, my assignment is set up for both i dont understand whats wrong, i installed Ultimate Terrain USA today and UK2000 Heathrow Pro but these are scenery addons and everything else works, i hear all the sounds from FS2Crew, just this problem, i even tried using a keyboard assignment and that didnt work, any ideas??

Hiya allI have noticed something in the way the FO handles EAI on the 747 with FS2crew. I choose NAI required in the T/O Breif page and the FO wil turn on the NAI after 4 good starts of the engines, but during the Before taxi checklist the anti ice call is allways answered off even tho the over head and the EICAS say its on. Then once im airborn and decide NAI is not required anymore I open the FO page and select NAI off, even tho the button has a little yellow light indicating its on the pilot calls Anti ice ON, then the FO turn it off. Its as tho its been reversed somewhere, I have checked that the NAI is off before I start a flight to make sure nothing is confused.…

I am having a problem with FS2crew for the PMDG 747 with regard to key assignments. The problem is that after installing this program and then assigning keystrokes to panel switching in the PMDG menu, I cannot then engage CMD L.The keystrokes I am assigning to panel switching are:CTRL ALT 1CTRL SHT 3CTRL SHT 5CTRL SHT 6CTRL SHT 7These do not appear to conflict with key assignments used by FS2Crew butwhen I assign them, CMD L doesn't work, if I remove them, it works again. This problem only occcurs if FS2Crew is installed.Any advice would be appreciated.Renzo

I have a few problems with procedures, the Start procedure is screwed up, When I request engine 4 and 3 to start packs 2,3 are turned off and engines 1,2, are started, then when I request engines 1,2 to start engines 1,2 are turned off and 4,3, start.During the intial climb out when i request autopilot on the FO does not engage an autopilot what is the probelm and how do I fix itAlso during approach, I cannot arm LOC or APP buttons on the MCP so I can't capture using the Autopilot, this really dtracts from the experience, and is there any way I can fix it>

HiI have been using fs2crew 747 pmdg for about a month and must say it's an excellent product.I would like to make a few sugestions for the next update that can make the product 'outsatnding'.The 1st idea is that you should allow a user 'file addition option'-an extra button could be created in the panel that could activate user downloaded files-like FDC that has time dependent user announcements.Secondly would it be possible for the intial set up values to be saved for subsequent reloads-this will be most welcomed in situations for long haul flights that need to be completed in days and lots of reloads.I hope you will give some considerations to these idea.Qas

Whenever the captain calls for pushback or other ground services(more meals, blankets etc.) he uses a callsign and number. The callsign I can choose but the number he says I can't recall ever been filled in by me. For example, I fly for SAS, I choosed AAL since Scandinavian don't exist, so the Captain goes "This is American 54", 54 I haven't seen anywhere. Checked the aircraft.cfg, it's not there.Many thanks/

Hi AllI am a new user--I can tell already that learning to use this program is going to be a daunting task--that said, my question for today is: When I am in the 2D panel I see the CAPLK letters to start the program, but when I am in the VC using TrackerIR I cant find those letters to start FSCrew2

I cant get Fspassengers to board the Aircraft. I have all of the doors on the left side open and the fwd and aft cargo doors and Fspassengers says the exit is not open.Rich

Hello, I noticed in your 767 package, you included a nice text version of the 767 manual which even has click spots to skip to different sections of the manual. The file is called 767LVLD_REF.htm Any chance you would consider doing one for the 747? Robert Williamson

Is this history, so far as you are concerned now that FSX is upon us - well upon some of us - or can we look forward to future projects which will work in FS9.FS2C has become my favourite add on and I do not fly without one of the versions. HiI bought fs2crew 747 few days ago-the 1st impressions are fefinitely impressive,The pmdg 747 has been brought to 'live' with this outstanding addon.Having said that,I have experienced few difficulties and I was wondering if some could please help,so far the following things have happened.1 In the manual it is said that we should map the taxi lights with 'ctrl L'-but in fs9 key assignment there is NO option to select for taxi lights?just central light,which does not work.2 The engines 'cut out' and restart immediately after I press the ES button to request APU shut down. Bryan:A few things I noticed today during a go around:1. Pressing the main button did not give me the Flaps 10 call (note: it may have been that I did this a little to early or too late; the only call I got was the After TO Checklist.)2. On the 2nd approach, the FO does not lower the gear after giving the Flaps 20, Gear Down call.3. After the giving the Flaps 30 call, the FO selects Flaps 25, not 30.James

Hi AllI have read few of the reviews on the pmdg fs2crew and also seen the engine startup video.I must say I am impressed.Could somebody please tell me how interactive is the fs2crew for the duration of the flight-Are there any automatic announcements during flight-ie cabin crew informing captain of problems,events etc.Does the FO manage all the flaps,gear management automaticallyand on landing are flap settings managed by the FO etc.I have both fs passenger and fdc -would I be gaining anything bybuying fs2crew.Please help me spend my money!!!Qas

Bryan et. al.:I am trying to practice go-arounds, so I've setup a situation where I'm at 7000 feet, on the ILS intercept, aircraft clean, and ready for the Landing phase.I start FS2Crew, select skip the pre-dep checklists, and press start. Then I select the LDG button; but when I press the LDG button the FO immediately responds as if I've called "visual" on the runway. I continue thru the entire approach, calling for flaps, gear, etc, but I no longer get the "decide" call at DH, so I'm kinda left all alone when i execute the go-around.Any ideas? Do I need to begin at >20,000 ft, and start FS2Crew at the AB? I could do that and just 4X or 8X down to 7000.(By the way…

I understand that FSCrew is not designed for the "F" version. My question is whether FSCrew installs only to the passenger version while leaving the freight version untouched? Thanks.

Hi captains,I had much fun to learn Mike Ray's procedures in his excellent book "The UNOFFICIAL BOEING 747-400 SIMULATOR CHECKRIDE PROCEDURES AND TECHNIQUES MANUAL".When I would use FS2Crew, I needn't know these things any more cause FS2Crew moves the knops etc. for me?If so, doesn't such automatism devalue the complexity of the PMDG747 which is the essential fascination of this add-on?My goal ist onlineflying...Don't get me wrong: does it support or does it oversimplify the Queen?Regards,Volker

Hi everyone.I've purchased the PMDG 747-400 add-on and what a change its made to my flight sim experience.My question now though is;I'm now thinking of getting the Level-D 767 version aswell, but as I got the 747 version first and there seems to be changes to the main menu, will I need to un-install the 747 version before I install the 767 version, or can I now just install the 767 version and all will be good?I wasn't too sure where to post this message, but as I have the 747 version, I thought I'd post it here.Thanks for any help or advice.

Great product guys, loving it. Combined with TrackIR4 and the new sound set, it's a magical combination (especially short final approach, disco the AP, what a rush).Now, on the LevelD version you can skip straight down to 1 minute in one click. I have a panel state saved at 1 min so I can load the panel, request push&start and get going.I know the PMDG works different with regards to the coding, but can this instant skip to 1 minute be achieved here too - to accomplish the same result?I know you can slowly click down from +45, but sometimes this is a bit of a chore.

Goodevening all,I just bought the pmdg fs2crew 747 but every time I want to start-up. The pre-flight flow such, PFD/ND turns out, my HSI turns out and my upper EICAS turns out.Does somebody have any idea how to solve this?Kinds regards,Stefan

Good Weekend.As i see today i got the PMDG 747-400/400F Sound Update Released.If i update the sound , there is no conflict between the new update sound & Restore Gaugesound.dll on the FS2Crew - Start Center.Regards,Alon
