FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 (FS9 Legacy Button Control)

Hello flight simmers,I believe I have downloaded the wrong product. What I wanted was the version for the PMDG 747-FSX but have downloaded the 2004 version.Does anyone know if and when the version I wan't will be available?ThanksDaniel

I've searched through the forum to find an answer to this, but found no advice except to delete and reinstall PMDG 747 and the FS2Crew. Anyways the problem I'm having with FS2Crew is its not recognizing my Main and Secondary Buttons. Each Time the FO states he's ready for the Pre Flight Checklist, my "Main Button" does not activate this list. When the FA announces a problem and requests that I contact Operations, I switch to 131.70, hit the "Secondary Button", and nothing happens. I know there is the hidden hotspot on the FP window, but the "Secondary Button" just does not work. I deleted both, FS2Crew and PMDG 747, as well as reinstalled them, made sure all updates were …

Hi Captains,I just bought FSBuild for flight planning and FMC route generation and love it! Cool program. Being a newbie at it, I am having one problem that baffles me. My PMDG 747-400 drifts off course soon after departing and gets further off course the further you get into the flight. I thought that magnetic variation might not be being corrected, but that's just a guess. I am using AIRAC 0709 in all applications. My other FS aircraft don't seem to be having this problem.Any ideas?Terry

Hi Bryan,I'm a retired real world pilot. Thanks for your wonderful FS9 747 PMDG program bought Monday. Read, followed and flew your tutorial. No problem. Set up a new flight from KSAN to KPHX. Still see the FP Menu showing the tutorial data and unable to change "Destination for PAX" to Phoenix. Loaded Departure and Destination on the Start Menu. T/Off briefing and runway info still related to Tutorial. I'm obviously doing some procedure in the wrong order. Any ideas from opening FS9 to starting timer on FP, procedure wise? Hi There, I've been flying the 747-400 for about 8 months now and i think it is the best 747-400 ther is but my only problem is the nose gear does not turn when taxiing. Is this a software clich or will i have to just suffer?

Hi Guys, Have just bought the PMDG 747-400, installed everything, and printed out all the manuals etc. My problem is that I cant find any of the ZIP files for TRC Lessons. Ive searched all the files I can think of, but with no success. Any help would be appreciated.Cheers,Neil

A qucik and probably simple question.I've used fs2crew for a while now woth both the FS9 737 and the pmdg version.I fancy getting the PMDG 747 version - as these flights are a little longer - can you save flights or at least resume mid-cruise?

Hi all,silly question. But how do people cope flying on VATSIM with FS2Crew?I only ask because yesterday I sat parked up in EGLL, with FS2Crew running and reading through manual. And it was awkward listening out for stuff in FS2Crew, and hearing the Tower talking to other pilots.And for that matter, when you're actually flying and your trying to listen for important info from Approach, but also have your Copilot in Fs2Crew talking to you aswell.Is it a case or setting volumes?Or just something you get used to and deal with?Regards

Hello,first of all, let me congratulate Bryan for this amazing add-on. Simply fantastic.I've just finished my first flight from LHR to Dubai, it was great apart from 3 smaller issues.1. Sometimes nothing happens when I press the STD button upon reaching TA or TL. This time it was at TL. Had to use the ctrl+tab+L combination for it.2. The copilot didn't turn ON the landing lights after passing 10.000 ft on the descent.3. After starting FS2Crew, everything seemed to work fine except for the L1 door, which didn't open. I had to open it manually.Any ideas?Robert

Hello.After getting Vista, I've now installed all my FS2004 software - including the PMDG 747 and FS2Crew for the PMDG 747.My problems are the following regarding FS2Crew:-Engine Start: When saying 'starting 1 and 2', it flicks the two fuel switches to RUN for 1 and 2 and hits the ignition for 3 and 4. To fix this I have to switch 1,2 to cutoff and 3,4 to RUN. Now the FO calls for 3,4 start and kills the fuel flow and 3,4 and opens the ignition for 1,2. This is really annoying as you could imagine and I have seen previous posts relating to this one however none of their solutions fixed mine.-Autopilot engaging: After takeoff, my Autopilot does not engage. hi Guys, new to fs2crew but been on the PMDG747 for a while. My question is to anyone using the freighter, do you have any tips? i did my first flight but had the FA asking about blankets and stuff, is there anyway way of keeping her out of the loop? i noticed a option to skip some of the preflight departure options, should i be using that? i just dowloaded active camera v2.1 and wanted to try demo (KSEA area)and can't get to work in VC mode. i heard the product works well with PMDG products. can anyone set me straight as to what i may be doing wrong? i got it to install no problem but seems not to be active. any help would be appreciated.

Hey Bryan.One thing I've noticed with my version of FS2Crew is that I get the American ground crew no matter where I go. I usually fly from Boston to either Heathrow or Gatwick; or Los Angeles to Sydney, and I'm always getting the American ground crews on landing (Hi Captain, the chocks are in now, any defects with the plane?). I'm running the most recent version of FS2Crew for the PMDG 747 and I've installed the most recent update.Also, I rarely get any special events outside of needing blankets or the 'tape' machine being broken. The other day a friend of mine and I were departing at the same time from the same airport and he had to restart his simulator due to the ground crew not closing a door. Today, it happened to me, but I had spent so much prep time and it was only a flight from KPDX to KLAS I just decided to fly it :) The plane works fine, but why does this happen and what can be done to fix it when it occurs? hi all,i've noticed when using FS2Crew with the 744Pax the fuel "Totalizer" field is missing on "Progress" page 2. only the "Calculated" field is displayed. before installing FS2Crew both fields were being displayed. thanks in advance for the help. happy flyin, FM

Hey folks,Just did a re-install of FS2Crew PMDG 747 on a new VISTA machine and when I run FS9 there's no PM or click spots in the 2D or VC cockpit. I installed update 1.2 but noticed that the config file didn't change. (i.e. didn't have to click on the button in the start center). I read in an earlier post that there were some entries missing in the config file and that it would be fixed in the 1.1 update. I've tried both updates now and still no click spots. My config file still shows a date of 9/7/2006.I ran the update as an admin and even tried to run flight 1's registry fixer but no go. Anyone have any ideas on how to get this fixed?Thanks for the help.Casey Booth…
