Everyone,PMDG has just released a new sound set for the PMDG 747.It is *very* good (just tested it) and I highly recommend you all download it.I just tested it and there appear to be "no" conflicts with FS2Crew, so all is good for FS2Crew 747 users.Install away!All the best,Bryan

Hi. Is there a way to "fool" fs2crew to work with the cargo version? There must be a line somewhere I can edit. I think the PMDG MD11 will allow fs2crew to work with both PAX and cargo versions.

Hi, I'm having an issue that is quite frustrating. I've installed FS9 in the root of C and have the latest version of the PMDG 747-400 for FS9 installed. Once I install FS2Crew I can only access the PMDG 747 start page after the install. If I shut down the start center and reopen it then it can no longer find the PMDG747. I have tried the update and the April start center version will all the same results. This is driving me crazy as I don't know what is breaking FS2Crew. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to correct it? Thanks, Keith

It seems as though the engine start process is reversed. After following procedures exactly, the FO still turns all 4 fuel control switches to ON, then OFF. Then he continues to pull all 4 start switches and pushes back IN start pins 3 and 4. When starting engines 1 and 2, he pushes those in as well. Any ideas?

I was inbound last night to Singapore after about 7 hours of flying, and everything was going fine; descent mode active, approach briefing complete, approach and descent checklists completed, and then, when i went to arm the approach mode: "Arming localizer" or something along those lines the captain said, however the LOC mode did not infact arm when i clicked on it. Neither would approach mode. I decided to handfly, however neither the throttle nor flight controls could be controlled by me when the autopilot/autothrottle were disconnected.Any help?

hey guyzz i have using the PMDG 747 simulator for a long time ... now i have encountered a problem .... when i start a flight with engines on ...the main displays and the eicas work fine but after a short period of time the EICAS AND the MAIN displays go off... what to do guyzzz... pls hel me out

Greetings. FS2crew opens the forward door...but many of my add on a/p put the jetway at the wing door. Can I switch which doors FS 2 crew opens? Thanks.

The first officer goes from flaps 20 to 30 skipping over 25. Is this normal? It makes things a little harder with such a big config change on approach.

Hi BryanI have been reading all related posts over the last few days and I have notice there has been topics about this but I have yet to see a fix.I realise this is an old product and FS9 has been around for many a year but there are still loads of us that love FS9 PMDG747 and of course FS2crew.To set the scene:I have chosen a monitored approach type or auto land approach I have set all info and then start the landing. At 1500ft I call land 3 which the FO calls back I then carry on with the FO making the appropriate calls when I hear the FO decide I then hit the secondary button putting fs2crew into go-around mode follow by putting the 747 into go-around mode also. I have started to use the LDS-767 edition and now I'm using FS2Crew for my PMDG 737 and 747 as well.I have a minor issue regarding the loadsheet in the PMDG747-edition, though. When it appears, all the weights do not agree with the actual ZFW, TOW and so on. At first I thought it would be a generic loadsheet but then I read in the manual that only the passenger load, trim and so on would be generic.(side note: when the loadsheet appears on the screen, it has some data on it but they are almost immediately replaced/overwritten by other data. i've searched google and found a lot of topics about this.In this topic http://forum.avsim.net/topic/223814-freighter-mod-for-fs2crew-pmdg-747-panelcfg-only/ there is a file called FS2Crew747FMod.zip but after 4 years, it doesn't exist anymore. I've tried to add by hand all the Fs2Crew's gauges and windows from 747 PAX to Freight but I get a crash. So..any chance of one official modification for this? or anybody here has the FS2Crew747FMod.zip ?Thanks!
