FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 (FS9 Legacy Button Control)

Hi,I can't remember if this question has been asked before.IF the 747 is parked nose Out at an Airport, do we have to do the pushback sequence in FS2Crew, because it seems to me that some events are triggered by actions during pushback.Can I call the Before Start Check list, then directly Engine Start sequence without calling for pushback ?

Hey Guys,I have a problem with the fuel on the PMDG 747. For Example : I had started my flight from LHR-MRU with 32.5 (according to the FMC) of fuel remaining at MRU. That time the optimum altitude shown by the FMC was FL298 so I set my cruising altitude to FL290 and using ICAO rules, I step climbed to FL330 when the FMC told me I was ready. The EFOB at MRU increased a little. And some time after that, my EFOB at MRU started decreasing very slowly. I thought that it would be no problem so I left the PC and when I came back , it showed that the EFOB at MRU would be 9.9 ?? Hello,I have owned RS2crew of PMDG747 for a while but stopped using it because of keyboard conflicts with my CPFlight MCP.However, I thought I would give it another go and all seems to be fine so far, execpt in realtion to:1. Speedbrakes - if I extend them during flight, I lose further control of them and therefore cannot stow them again.2. If my FO helps during engine start, he pulls all of the starts, even thought I tolf him to just start 3 and 4 and then he switches all the fuel levers to cut-off after the engines have all been running for a while.I am sure these are keystrokes errors. Hi ColleaguesI have just bought FS2Crew two days ago and tried to fly the tutorial in the manual. The only difference was that I selected an aircraft with P&W PW4062 engines as I had the correct Korean Air livery for it.Everything worked as "advertised", except that the FP does not allow for EPR ratio's, only for N1 %. After taking off the aircraft began to climb at an abnormal angle & fpm, until it threatened to stall. While on autopilot with LNAV & VNAV selected the aircraft overshot the selected altitude by a large margin, and then started to "oscillate up & down", with increasing airspeed when descending and decreasing airspeed while climbing. When flying the 747 with FS2crew I now have an issue. When I reach 18000 ft and I press my std button the yellow box surrounding the pressure altitude stays yellow instead of turning to STD. The FO changes automatically. Anybody have an idea why this is happening?ThanksAndrew

I was hoping I could wear a head set and announce the commands (e.g Flap 20 or Gear Up) and the virtual F/O would actually do and announce. I can get an offset for a recognised Airway. But I am unable to offset when, Direct To, This means when on a NAT or PACOT Track I can't use the Strategic Lateral Offset Procedure ? (SLOP)

I have posted this question on the PMDG forum but I am repeating it hear in case anyone with FS2Crew has experienced a similar problem.I have a frustrating intermittent problem engaging CMD A autopilot after take-off. This problem is only experienced with the PMDG 747. I have no problems with the PMDG 737.Having set-up the plane, including FMC, for T/O, after getting airborne, and with the FD, autothrottle, LNAV and VNAV enagaged, the autopilot CMD A will not enagage. Well, sometimes it will, and sometimes it won't but if you've spent an hour preparing for T/O and then find the whole flight has to be aborted because of this problem, it is very annoying.For the record:1. …

Hi, friends:I wonder why I can not use land3 mode in PMDG 744, with FS2crew.When I press LOC or APP before landing (about 10miles or 5 miles to the runway), FO will say " I am in localizer or in approach mode"??? Hello Bryan,I have both PMDG 744 and PMDG 744F for FS9 with FS2Crew PMDG 744.I also bought the PMDG744X for FSX with its bonus file : PMDG747_400_V1R12_FSXFS9_Unifier.exe. This bonus is an update for the old PMDG744/744F for FS9.But it seems that FS2crew PMDG744 does not work with this bonus. Each time I load the aircraft, I have a CTD. Can you confirm this ?If I install the bonus 744, can I install FS2crew above ?So I have the choice to fly with the "old" 744 with FS2crew, or the "new" 744 without FS2crew !Will you release an update for FS2Crew 744 to work with the bonus ?

FS9 Fs2 CREW 747 is not working:My new PC Dell420 XPS Vista 23.I downloaded Fs2 Crew..Assigned Main Button and Secondary.After I activated FP and filled the required info to PF. next was 02 was OK. I clicked to FB Capt/FO voices three check items was mixed each other and no more voice respond from any other buttons..I didnot have any problem with FS9 FS2-PMDG747 during Dell XPS 410 XP. Now I have problem with FS2 747 in DellXPS420 Vista.I reinstalled/installed Fs2 same problem no voive reponse other then mixed three check items mixed in PF is remaining.Please advise.ThanksSanal

Hi,Can someone tell me where that rattling noise is coming from when you load the FS2Crew panel state? (with only the battery on)It's quite annoying and I wonder if it's normal.

For some reason recently the landing gear retracts on approach and I am not sure why anyone any idea's. particularly annoying on approach to Kai Tak. Even if I re-set the gear it then retracts again a few seconds later !Any help would be much appreciated.Best Regards,Chris

Just wanted to ask you guys which keystrokes do you use for these?With the LDS767 I used Shift-Z and V respectively but with the PMDG these cause an issue with the doors.I am having alot of trouble assigning anything that does not cause a conflict with either FS9, the payware aircraft I am using, FS Passengers etc.! Just thought it'd be a good idea to ask users what do they use on their ends.Thanks in advance!

Dear AvsimWhile doing BA0283 (EGLL-KLAX), I started to think to my self, Is their anything wrong with my PMDG aircraft. I have been a long supporter to PMDG and have evry aircraft in the FS9 section. These aircraft are by far the best i have ever flow, Correct MCP, FMC and EICAS. Any problem you get, you have sorted, With Amazing support, it seems you take great pride and care in your jobs.
