FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 (FS9 Legacy Button Control)

Hi there and thank you for a great product.I have just one issue, the sound (for the cockpit crew and so on) is just way too loud. In the manual you mention something about a sound editor which is supposed to be included?Any help is appreciated.Boaz.

Hello, just have a small problem. I am using only the Virtual Cockpit for flying the PMDg 747,...and how can i use FS2Crew with that? I mean without switching back to the 2D Cockpit View to see all the important "buttons - line" in the upper half of the Cockpit??Thx in advance.Lukas

Hi all,when takeing the queen up to the skies WITHOUT having FS2Crew activated, i am running into the following problem.Switching between local and STD pressure only works with the assigned key combo 'CTRL-TAB-L'Using the mouse click spot, the following happens:The captain reads "2992 set and crosschecked". This will happen exatly one time. Thats all.STD mode is not engaged, and any further 'click' on the STD knob will just be ignored. No further readings from the captain, no chance to engage STD pressure mode with the mouse.Activating FS2Crew - even in flight - or using the key combo helps out of the problem...This only applies to the captains controls. Hi People !I just bought the 744 FS2Crew product. I was trying to use it from WSSS to EGLL - Whenever i opened the FS2Crew Start Center and changes the Dept. Airport and Dest. to WSSS and EGLL and saved the data - then i opened the Flight planning page i never got EGLL at DEST FOR PAs. I dont know why. But what is the worse - i had all my doors assigned to my 744 and now i removed FS2Crew and opend the FS with my 744 - i cant get my doors to open as i had them. I cant even asign them anymore at the PMDG. What shall i do now.Please adviseMarek from LOWW

Following the quick-start tutorial, when in the cruise I selected the PA announcement panel. However, after a few seconds of each announcement all I got was a load noise fromthe speakers untilthe end of the announcement. Do I have corrupted .wav files?

Hey Bryan,I won't be upgrading to FSX when it's released. I prefer to wait for Vista & DX10, then buy a new powerful machine for FSX.So I'll probably be flying on FS9 for the next 6 months. About the future updates you are planning (airline callsigns, cities etc.) will they allso apply for the FS9 version or are those solo for FSX?Greets,Jeroen

On the flight planning page i can't get the right runway for take off, i've done the tutorial to RJAA, now i want to plan my own flight i put all the data in the start centre but cant get the proper take off runway in the flight planning page i'am new to this any help would be gratefulThanksMike

There are a couple of things I've noticed since 1.1. All of my flights are from the UK - don't know if this makes a difference. Anyway fairly frequently the FA briefing does not play. I get the info set up and press the play brief button - nothing.The other thing is that in the Capt's brief he always says 'Good morning' irrespective of the actual time of day according to FS, or the time of Dept set in the Start Centre. Just wonder if I've missed somethingBud

I purchased FS2 PMDG747, did a clean install, patch, stick/key config and FS9 load. All worked functions worked normally during pre-flight until first checklist, button illuminated, main button/no response.Begin trouble shooting, config, uninstall, re-install, no joy.Re-download and repeat dance, feels a little like Falcon4 RP3........FS2 LDS767 works fine, PMDG 744/F current patches. The reason I ask as to whether it is possible to pause FS2crew is that tonight I paused FS9 in the middle of pre-flight procedures and I presumed that FS2Crew would automatically pause too, but it didn't.Is there anyway to do this?ThanksRenzo

I just purchased the 747 product today and I thoroughly enjoyed it during two flights. The evening flight, however, was very dark with no night lighting. Is there a way to illuminate the FS2C panels, including the master panel? HiFs2Crew 747 edition is a great. I found it very enjoyable to use, although I rarely get time to complete a whole flight in the 747 as they are usually very long haul I would like to be able to fly some Cathay Pacific or Japan Airlines flights but there isn't an option for either of these callsigns in the FP page.Is there another way around this problem or could more callsigns be included?RegardsCallum

Bryan,Your missing a big airline on the 747. That is Northwest just thought you might want in a up date to add it.

My FO doesn't switch to tank to engine while at 4x speed. Do I need to slow to 1x and let him switch and then get back to 4x speed?Best regards/

I'm a new and happy PMDG 747-400 Passenger user. Started hearing an inconsistent external wind noise instead of the usual continuous hiss. This interval is about twice every second and is more an issue of volume level than silence. Take Off, Cruise; no problem, starts on descent going thru' FL 250 all the way to Ground. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Although I was a real world pilot, my understanding of programming and computer skills are limited. Thanks in advance. Hilton

Hi,I've been using FS2Crew from the beginning and have bought every version since. Only for this one, the 747 version, I still have my doubts. How about those very long intercontinental flights? What if you don't have the time nor the patience to sit them out from beginning to end at simrate 1x? For the same reason I haven't yet bought the PMDG 747 itself. I only like to fly real world airlines with their real world routes, so a short 2 hr flight isn't really an option. Does the PMDG 747 itself and the new FS2Crew version come with the possibility to save flights and as such make a AMS - LAX flight in 3 or 4 stages? Greetings,Nico

Hi captains,is there anybody out there who use both programs?FS FlightKeeper adds some nice sounds like passengers boarding.
