  1. Be sure to have the correct clothing! White shirt, red neckerchief and a pair of stain proof trousers. Oh, and your best running shoes. Flight Plan Aircraft: Whatever takes your fancy. Knowing Roger, you'll need something that can land in a back yard. Date and time: Wednesday August 15th., 2018, 1830 UTC. Where: AVSIM RTWR Teamspeak - Casual Flights Channel Teamspeak Server Address: ts.teamavsim.com Cross-Platform Multiplayer: JoinFS. (FSX, FSX-SE, and P3D).

  2. Spitfire Sweep Take off from RAF Manston with a scramble to Angels 20 (climb to 20,000 in 9 minutes or less) without blowing up your engine, then a 90 mile dash across the sea to Holland landing at Midden-Zeeland (EHMZ). Departing to the northeast we conduct a low level high speed run over the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta and Rottedam then a quick stop at Hilversum (EHHV) with it’s shortish 2000 foot grass runway. A quick departure will minimize overheating as we continue the low level 41nm run to Noordoostpolder (EH09) with a 3000 foot grass runway. The high speed run continues on to Eelde (EHGG) and hard runway (8190 ft). After a brief stop to run maintenance checks…

  3. Giving Roger a little break this week, but this doesn't mean an easy ride! Bring something that handles like a polo pony, I'm thinking RV7 kinda thing. If you think an NGX will work go for it! (FSX, FSX-SE, and P3D). Flight Plan Orbx NRM and PNW would be good to have. There are no add-on payware airports needed and I'm not sure if the freeware Orbx Nanaimo includes the land airport. (Bert'll know)

The population of the state of Oregon are well-known for their concern for environmental matters, so this is a special, eco-friendly flight plan that I'm sure the Oregonians would approve of. Why, you ask? Because it's 100% recycled! Back in January we did this plan with skis on. Now we'll see what it looks like in summer. We'll start in the Willamette valley at Hobby Field (77OR) in Creswell. It's just a short ride to a quick stop at Jasper Ridge (36OR) to make sure we've got our short-field skills up to scratch before we head over the mountains. Next, up and over the Cascade range, stopping at McKenzie Bridge (00S) and passing the Three Sisters peaks, landing at …

Landings en route include Bonn-Hangelar (EDKB), Merzbruck (EDKA), Dahlemer Binz (EDKV), Winningen (EDRK), Buchel AB (ETSB), Mainz-Finthen (EDRZ), Worms (EDFV), and Mannheim (EDFM). 16. Now that we have the A2A Spitfire back in our P3d v4 hangars, this sortie marks its return to our Saturday flights. Where else to do this but the south-east of England and northern France. Start at Duxford (EGSU), head south towards London and Biggin Hill (EGKB). From here the flight will mostly follow the coastlines rather than flying the magenta line. Fly north-east to the River Thames, then follow the coast east to the next stop at Manston (EGMH, or the waypoint in the GTN flight plan as the airport was recently demolished), then round past Dover and the white chalk cliffs (screenshot artists get your cameras ready) to Lydd (EGMD). 18. Rogier’s Riviera Vacances Nos vacances commencent à Marseille (LFML).

On this flight we get to see a large part of the small kingdom of Bhutan, a country where the king introduced "gross national happiness", thus making Bhutan the happiest country in the world! Bhutan has four airfields, which we will all visit. We start our flight at Lukla, Nepal. For more information please refer to Mike's very detailed and informative guide to our Himalaya flight a couple of weeks ago. A first stopover leads us to Tumlingatar (VNTR). The small airfield is located in eastern Nepal. In this area, we find the deepest valley and the highest mesa of Nepal. The airport has an unpaved runway of approx. 4000 feet in length. It's at an altitude of…

  22. Rogers Ramble in the Western Chugach Roger’s plan takes us from Seward (PAWD) to Valdez (PAVD) by way of the Western Chugach, approx. 210nm and features eight landings & one touch 7 go. Flight Plans The Flight Plan is available via DropBox here. Aircraft You will probably want a bush plane such as the DHC-2 Beaver or Cessna 185. Please fly what you like. Scenery For best results, you want the payware Orbx Southern Alaska "full-fat" region. Less rich, but probably fine, would be a combination of the payware Orbx North America Landclass and Orbx Global Vector to get the lakes and coastlines correct. In addition, I would recommend …

If I may be so bold as to suggest you avail yourselves of the fine services provided by Digital Theme Park. Once again thanks to Roger for the flight plan available HERE. He assures me he's more than happy to keep doing them. We'll see how long THAT lasts! FTX South American Land class is recommended. Time: 18:30 UHT Enjoy the flight and be nice to each other.
