Hi There, I am using Active Sky WXRE with FS9. I am noticeing that with my addon aircraft from PSS the autoflight system does not function. I am not sure if this is a problem with PSS or with Hi-Fi, so I am posting this message in both forums. I can manually fly the aircraft, but when trying to use autothrust, or autoflight the systems just do not work. The instant I unload WXRE, and clear the weather the aircraft work flawlessly. Any insight would be appreciated. Regards, Michael

I have this problem with a reg version. Whenever I use the Online (live) to get the weather I keep getting this error message, "cloud layer conflict in metar, skipping transition," but, when I use the Ofline method everything is ok. How can I fix this?

I recently purchased Active Sky and have upgraded to 1.91. 1) Will purchasing a license for FSUIPC do anything to improve my Active Sky experience? If so, what?2) How do I get a more gradual change in the weather from station to station. The clouds just pop up instantly. I have all the recommended settings correct (dynamic weather off, clouds at 100%, etc)Thanks in advance.

I give up! I want to remove all and start over! I've had it with "error reading .ini check your ini file".But where is the 1.0 version available for download that I need with the 1.91 update? I have the registration info from long ago.Edit: Tell me where to get the registration info. It appears I have lost that too when I deleted the program folder after uninstalling everything.Thank youLarry Jones

Just wondering if anyone else experiences the following.First things first:With the release of the official 1.91, I uninstalled all versions including betas with the Add/Remove programs panel. Reinstalled version 1.0 and then updated to 1.91.I use the fsuipc.ini file provided with AS. The only thing changed was calibrating my yoke and pedals. Using the latest 3.07 fsuipc version. Here's what happens:Usually when the weather changes the plane has a tendancy to jerk left and right, sometimes pretty violently. Then it goes through 3 to 5 transitions (clouds, visibility, etc.) rather abruptly before finally settling down. No transitions seem gradual at all.The only thing chang…

Hi,Can anyone help please. I've just purchased ActiveSky wxRE v1.87 and everything is working OK except the Flightwatch voices. If I tune to 122.00, I get the messages scrolling across the screen in text but no voice.I've had a look in "ActiveSky/Voice" folder and have the two sub folders "Voice1" and "Voice2" containing all the .wav files, which play through windows media player if I click on them. I have also turned the windows volume up to max and turned down other flightsim sounds.Any help would be appreciated.Regards, pete

DamianI have tweaked ActiveSky 1.91 and FSUIPC 3.07 as per your documentation and still get inconsistent weather that is downloaded and what is being presented in FS2004. It appears that winds and altimeter settings are being sent to FS2004 but clouds are not being set properly. Typicaly when first starting a flight, all looks good with clouds, wind and altimeter but shortly after takeoff clouds disappear without any kind of transitioning and all correct representation of real life weather is lost. I look out my window and see overcast but with ActiveSky and FS2004 all is clear and the ground is visable? "See attached file for example of weather" If you and anyone elso co…

Hello Damian (and all others ;-) ) ,I've been using the freeware AS versions for almost as long as I had FS 2002, and now that I got FS9 I finally went ahead and purchased the full version via SimMarket. Now, having heard that you are already busily working on version 2 I was wondering whether you might yet have made any decisions on the terms under which AS 1.9x full version users will be able to upgrade to version 2. Will you handle this as a mere "upgrade" as you did within the 1.x version range, or will we have to make any additional purchases to obtain AS 2?Cheers :D ,

Which of the boxes on the FS9 weather setup page should I check when using WXre?

Fellow pilots,Today I started to check out AS2002 freeware version. Adjusted the FSUIPC (2.975) settings but... no surfacewinds on take off and landing. The METAR line however indicates that there should be surfacewinds. When I change to the standard FS weather, the correct surfacewinds are present. Can someone help me out on this one please?Regards,Michel Cranefeld

With the upcoming release of Activesky 2 and it's inclusion of a wx radar in .gau format (I did read that right, eh?), is this gauge going to have a 'border' around it, or will it just be a movable gauge, able to place in any aircraft?Am I wrong about the Wx Radar being in .gau format?

It seems like I followed detailed instructions in the readme file attached to the latest update.I inserted the root location of my FS9 folder into the WxRE options window. The location of WxRE is also correct.Weather gets downloaded, displayed in the WxRE box but does not interact with FS9 for some reason. The outcome is the weather does not change.Recommended options are also in place - clear weather in FS options, no dynamic change, clouds to 100%, etc.Looking forward to your comments,Dom
