wussup fellas? i have av6 and it's been working fine except for a a few issues in the past that were resolved thanx!, well all of a sudden i have a very stange problem with my airplanes, (default and downloads) after i take off and get to about say 5,000 feet and above the airplne starts to fade in and out, but not the whole aircraft at the same time, it does it in sections, a wing, atail section and the fuselage fade one at a time and re- appear in half second intervals, and i wanted to know has anyone had this problem and can you please help me out.....

Flying towards a airport the vis suddenly changes from unlimited to less than 5 miles or less,haze.Turning downwind, the vis instantly changes to unlimited again.Also, has KLAX been in the fog now for over a week? I bought the Cloud-9 lax addon and its been less than 5 mile vis for over a week.Anyways, what are the settings you reccomend I double check. Just seems like the entire USA is constantly under a veil of haze all the time. Change directions and its time to put on the sun tan lotion.

i noticed that my version of fsuipc is not the latest, if i install the latest i think its 3.6 will asv6 still work, also i have a unregistered version does it matter what program is accredited to fsuipc for it to work with all the 0ther software that requires fsuipc. thanks jim

I have my Active Sky set pretty much to the settings suggested in the thread to get a realistic weather look. I have seen a good overcast multiple times. The problem is once I fly through it it seems to go away. I can clearly see the ground from on top. I have seen a couple screen shots of planes flying on top of the overcast layer but I haven't seen it on my machine. Any thoughs?

Hi, I see we have a new FSUIPC available. I'm uisng 3.53 which is fine, just wondering if 3.60 is really necessary? here's the deal, i've had active sky v6 for a couple of weeks now and i had a problem with my fs9 crashing (screen goes totally blank) when i went into dawn textures when i first got the program. so i took you guys advice, swallowed some pride and uninstalled my fs9 (losing all the addons i worked so hard to get:o( and reinstalled it and added some of my previous addons and the game worked great with asv6 (thanx). so recently i bought the ultimate terrain from flight one software, and since i've install this program my fram rates are affected and the game is back to crashing on me when i fly at night after about 10 minutes of flight, i haven't really tried flying in the d…

Hi Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have tried several times to load the ASG graphics to FS9 but it will not load. I have tried re-loading the FS9 and nothing happens. Every time that I try the only thing that comes up is the default FS little clouds. It is only the ASG graphics themes that are not coming up. The live activesky loading of the weather on the other hand, does work? Can anybody help with the ASG problem I am facing?Thanks

OK.. I almost always use the Activesky to get me the real world weather.And yes.. it seems to bring the data and paints the screen like the real world. When there is a rainfall and cloudy.. and I see that on the screen.But...But... I fly like its a perfect weather.... no gusty wind, no turbulance ..none of those rough conditions that goes with it.Is this something that I have not setup on my end (as a config). or is that a limitation of some kind?Manny

We've had numerous threads with different problems, some solved in recent beta updates, and need to re-organize and see who exactly is still experiencing this and if it is occuring in the same place/at the same time for all?The latest conclusions we have are: This occurs for 4 users, no other reports, and occurs only during the initial ASv6 update processes with Beta 485. I'm a little confused on what to set the Weather settings within FS2004 when using AS6 to generate real weather (updated every 10 minutes).1) In the Create a Flight area, do you choose anything such as Real-World Weather (Static) or Real World Weather (Updated) or User Defined, etc. I've been choosing Real World Weather (updated), but it goes to Jeppeson site not to an AS6 server2)In Settings (Weather Tab), there is a box labeled Download Winds Aloft data with real-world weather. Does checking that affect AS6 in any way, or does AS6 automatically download Winds Aloft data?Clarification on this issue would be greatly appreciated.Thank YouGray_Lensman

I've just started using ActiveSky and have updated it to the latest release. When I first used it there was no connection to FS, but after reinstalling FSUIPC without putting in my registration details it worked fine. When I entered the details again and restarted FS and AS AS wouldn't connect to FS. Two questions: Why is it doing this, and how can i fix it? Thanks in advanced.

With the old card I had a nice smooth transition from the sky to the horizon (using the ATI "Table Fog=0") line in the FS9.cfg file. This is driving me nuts!!I have ASV6 and ASG installed on a client pc running widefs. Everything appeared to go just fine until i tried to run the active radar connector. When I ran the connector, from the FS box the path to the client pc was correct and i selected the ASV6.exe as instructed.For some reason the connector program won't accept the selection. I keep getting the message (You must select AV6.exe before continuing). This is the only problem I've had. I've ran ASV6 sucessfully through widefs during a flight despite not having active radar. I even tried manually placing a copy of the active radar folder and active radar.dll in the FS9 modules folder and still no …

My system has been running just fine for months, but today, around 3PM Mountain, I was trying to load a trip out of KORD to CYUL, about 600nm. I wondered what might have changed to eat up most of the frame rate, and finally figured out that it appeared to be originating from the Wide Client running ActiveSky as it was loading the WX areas. I also run the old release of the Garmin 530 on the client PC, and it did NOT appear to be the problem, but certainly contributed.Damian or Jim: were both servers runnning smoothly this afternoon, at least as far as providing the on-line feeds, or was maintenance perhaps running? I'm having a problem with the wx configurator. For ecample, I select the"fogged in" template and set it as global. The default metar is:000000Z 30004KT 2SM OVC007 BKN040 10/09 A3003After I apply and update/close, I see that AS6 is synthesizing and then writing the weather, but this is what I see (I am on the ground):KLAS 042054Z 30004KT 10SM FEW120 10/09 A3003 RMK DYNAMIC TAF ELEMENTI tried editing the winds, temps, and baro, and they all are copied over, but the vis and clouds aren't accepted. Just bought ASv6 and I think that it does not coexist very nicely with FSAISeparation.exe.I know that refreshing AI will definitely make it not work but besides that I am getting conflicts.Does anybody else have similar observations ?Thanks

Not sure if it's going to be a bug report, but here go two problems.1. With all suppression specified, plus wind smoothing in FSUIPC, still upon update the weather is changing very, very sharply. Just had it updated, the aircraft jumped, and FSPASSENGERS registered G-force 2.10.2. Every x minutes, asg.exe opens and closes the floppy drive.thanks,Vadim Rapp
