Hi!A few days ago i tried a flight from LOWI to LPMA. I built a flightplan in .PLN and processed it via th NEW ROUTE button. The problem, as you can see in the image, is that LOWI reports 1016HPa of baro pressure. However when I hit B to reset my baro pressure on the altimeter, it reads 1020HPa! And the 1020HPa are correct because the elevation of LOWI is 1900', again as you can see at the image.So I found that these 1020HPa were in fact the baro pressure of my destination airport - LPMA!! Found this doing a fetch for LPMA at the AS6 menu.I tried everything, disable this, disable that... no results!!I discovered that this only happens when I process a flightplan via the '…

Just re-formatted my hard drive so I could wipe out alot of files no longer being used. Ive gotten it to where I can at least use FS, however AS wont start. it says "initialization error reading files... Please verify your files or re-install" and I dont know what happened. I backed up my Zip file that I downloaded, and installed from there, it worked before but now it wont. is it possible that it wont work because I not have the .NET framework installed.

Can someone help on why this is happening? Basically, it's a no weather bubble or zone around my a/c. If I fly long enough, I eventually fly out of the "bubble and into weather.Look at the attached pic. The radar really shows it. I took off from a field that was right in the mild of some nasty stuff. It looks like a bite has been taken out of the weather at my location.I'm doing the proper load in sequence and by the time I go through my cold start-up and taxi it is at least 5 minutes so the current data should have time to load in. I am currently using the FE sky,water,and clouds instead of using the ASG cloud and sky set. I am just wondering how many of us are using FE in conjunction with AS6 ?? I am just questioning whether I am missing out not utilizing ASG.ThanksAndy

Not being sure that I have AS6 setup properly, I start AS, select quick start real set 1, send to FS9, start FS9. On startup of FS should I see real set 1?. ThanksDick

Since I cleaned up my PC some weeks ago (drive cleaner, file wiper, defrag), when now starting up ASv6 (and also Radar Contact) , I always get the message "cannot find nDac base pro.msi" or something to that extent. By clicking "Cancel", ASv6 continues to load, and works fine, but it is not really the right way to do.Could it be that nDac base pro is installed by the first install of AS? Just bought AS6 about 3 weeks ago which was build 500. Does Build 503 include the changes on the builds between 500 and 503 or do I have to install them separately? Thank you in advance.

When I start AS6 I always get asked to find my FS9 folder even though I've done that a dozen times and always go into options and save it. That is just a minor inconvenience though.I frequently get a message that it can't access internal components and to repair. I've read some messages here that suggest antivirus and other programs can delete critical files. Well, this particular computer doesn't have anything else running on it. I've repaired it several times but no joy. I am currently running ASV6 B500 (least ways that's what the ASV6 screen says, the .ini file says B499?) and I'm having a problem installing the B503 updateWhen I try to run the B503 setup I can accept the license agreement, click past the read me and OK the install folder. Then I get the message:"Error 1500. Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one."As far as I can see there is no other install running - I get this even if I run it immediately after booting up the system. Any hints on how to fix / what to look for welcomed.ThanksJohn

Trying out AS with ASG clouds in lieu of FE to see what they are like.I suppose I could have gone and checked those two thunderheads out but considering their anvel tops were going two different directions, I figured the wind shear was horrendous (tongue in cheek).

Does anyone know how FS9 calculates winds aloft WITHOUT Active Sky? Also, I am curious to know how ASv6 winds aloft are being calculated without downloading the NOAA data (if that is even possible)? just a few questions please to help me with AS6.1. Once I have loaded the weather and I go into Flight Sim, the weather is set to User Defined which is correct, but the Dynamic Change bar is set to none? Is this right for AS6, does AS change the weather rather than Flight sim?2. At Gatwick EGKK, I am finding I am always taking off at the far end from the terminals (08 R) when in real life, the runway normal goes from the other end nearest the terminals. Now I thought this wa govened by the winds in Flight sim, so you take off into the wind, but his never seems to change ends? What can I do, or change so I can take off at the terminal end or am I stuck if using real weathe…

... I got fed up with WMPro, cut my losses and purchased AS. My lord what a difference! A weather program that actually works.The way I look at it is I paid to be a Beta tester for WMP. Heck, sometimes an Alpha tester. I hung on so long because I was hoping to get something for my $.In just a few short hours of usage I have not encountered anything negative with AS. I'm using Flight Environment for now and will give the AS graphics a go this weekend to check them out.Again, so far so good. Wish I would have switched earlier.

Firstly, thanks for the best FS add-on a man can get!FS2004 closes okay but when l shut ActiveSky6 (most recent version) it often tends to hang needing a push from Task Manager (XP) to close. Not a big problem in itself really but wondering what may cause the hang and if there is something l can do to exit nicely. I do not know if this is ASv related, but I never had this problem before installing ASv so I am throwing the possibility out there for comment...I am unable to run FS9 with any time selected other than current "real time". I select a different time and the sim switches to it for a moment but then loads again and appears with the current clock setting.Roger Curtiss
