Hi, just been playing about with my weather and was just wondering if this looks realistic. It looks pretty good to me but wanted an expert opinion :) If anyone has any suggestions i'd be happy to hear them.I have one problem though, in my opinion my sky seems to light. i think it should be a darker shade of blue. Can anyone suggest to me how to achieve this (unless what i have at the moment is ok of course...)ThanksDaniel

g'day, i have a new computer that is fltsim specific and will never be online - i want to buy active sky 6 and i know i can buy the cd version, but if i need to register online there is a problem.can i buy as6 on cd and simply load that onto my non-internet computer?cheersboleropilot

When I import a flight plan, view and print a log, the dep and arrival aiports are shown but no waypoints but the data is there. I understand the waypoints should be shown in the Nav Log. Anyone any ideas on how to fix my problem?ThanksDon Fraser

Hi,I am presently using ASv6 on my main FS9 computer with 3 other computers linked via Wideview with FS9 also installed on them. The weather update synchronization does not work very well.My thought was to set up ASv6 on a non-FS9 computer and then link my main FS9 computer and all 3 view computers with FS9 installed on them through ActiveRadarConnector.exe and WideFS.Does anyone know that if I do this, I can in fact hook up 4 computers to the non FS9 computer that has ASv6 installed on it? In other words, will the non FS9 computer with ASv6 be able to connect and send the weather to all the 4 FS9 computers with the hopes of better synchronization?One final question wou…

Hello,today is my second day with active sky wxre in CFS2, using the default fsuipc "which does not allow me to make basic adjustments as per read me page 6 to 10" awaitting the activation of the 3.7 module soon i hope.I have 2 questions from todays trials.1)Time zone:I am flying missions which start at 7 a.m in New Guinea and it is 4.20pm in switzerland right now,checking the international time zone i see the solomons,marrianas and NG as 8 hrs ahead, therefore 0.20 hrs past midnight europe time.When i fly in the mission online its as per the missions details therefore 7 .a.m, i tried changing to 5 a.m. and it was 5 a.m. judging from the light and sun,should'nt it be 20 m…

hello,this is my first posting so try and be kind.I just installed to cfs2 and i'm waitting for the activation key in order to get into the settings and go fly.My first question is i have set up a 29 mission campaign in the south pacific and i live in switzerland,so if i fly the missions say anytime from 4pm to midnight swiss time there is a diference of about 10 hours with the solomons so if my missions are set to be flown during the day there and i am playing online what happens to the time factor?amingaz

Hey guys, I've been having this problem lately, and I think it's because I changed some of the ASV6 settings not too long ago and I'm not sure what it could be. (Can't exactly remember which setting it was. My ignorance) - Anyways, what I've noticed is, at times when externally viewing the aircraft, there are some clouds that cause a lag spike. Below I've included two pictures.Looking at a cloud to the east (Right next to me, though they can be at a distance as well when this occurs)Now looking in another direction, but frames are back up with no problems. HiI bought AS6 (tremenduous prog by the way!) and I'll place it in a 2nd pc (via WideFS) but I have some doubts:1) Do I need to have both pcs connected in a broadwide internet so the real world weather goes to both computers or just the main (FS9) machine connected can send the weather online to AS6?2) Is it indifferent to place AS6 in the 2nd pc either in root c: or in 2nd HD (d:)3) How do I get your AS6 support banner?ThanksEduardo

Hello,at the moment I think about buying Active Sky.I'am sure that Active Sky V6 is an amazing add-on and 100% worth the money but in less than two month the FSX arrives...I know you can't know if AS will be compatible to the new Flight Simulator.But I would like to know if you have any plans for the future regarding upgrades for existing customers?Or do you plan something like: "Any customer who buys Active Sky after the xx will get the AS FSX-Update for free?" ;)GreetingsTim

I am trying to use AS to manually set up weather in the sim. I entered it in the ASV engine as follows:PANC 000000Z 05012KT 7SM OVC004 OVC020 12/11 A3001To me, this reads an overcast ceiling at 400 feet, and another at 2000 feet, with good visibility under the layer. I am shooting this at night, and when I get to about 1500 feet, I can see the runway fairly clearly. Not the 'in the soup' till 400 feet breakout I want. I had applied this to every airport 100 miles around. I saw no real layer at 400 feet at all. What am I doing wrong?

the reason that i got active sky was because the default wether would suddenly give me an overcast condition instanlty out of no where....but...active sky does the same thing...in a flash there is all of a sudden an overcast condition...how can i get the weather to change gradually like in real life?

Just built a new system and when I start AS6 I get an "error during FS station database check (step 3)... Stations may not be properly configured for extended-coverage weather depiction..."Why am I getting this and how do I fix it?TIA.Terry

I'm set up properly in FSBuild 2.2 to get the winds aloft from ASv6 (latest beta). Am not getting an accurate import. Here's an example from an 18 APR KIAD - EDDF flight plan: ASv6 winds aloft for FL350 at 50N50W: 209/079 FSBuild 2.2 fltpln: 287/025 FSBuild waypoints: ---/022 Similiar errors at all 41 waypoints in the flight plan.Posted in the FSBuild forum, but no response. I removed ASV after having only used ASv6 for months now, but I get an error on weather refresh telling me to "repair" the ASv6 install. No problem, but do I need to rerun the original 42 MB ASv6 install execute, then rerun the B503 execute?
