I can't figure out how to re-install the default Landing Lights only. The only choices are for X default. Is that FSX default? I'm looking for a way to do this, without returning all X-graphics changes to default. The Real Air Scout and SF260 landing lights are no longer visible at night. I'm wondering if X-graphics reduced intensity may be causing the problem. Thank you in advance.Bob..

OK guys you have to work on the wind shifts. Massive direction shifts @ 120 knots wind, from 020 to 150 and back in a few seconds. Hello!I just bought the bundle, and I have one question to start with:When at an airport with CAVOK, it is not CAVOK. And I am not talking about cirrus generation, but low clouds. And the answer is to be found here; look at the METAR, which says CAVOK, and then at the decoded weather, which says few 5800 feet..So instead of a bright, blue day, it becomes a rather grey, overcast day.Why is this?Regards, Tore Stabell, Norway

Hi I recently bought asv6.5 and have a question.I have searched but not found the answer.I flew out of PAJN yesterday and the online OVC clouds were incredibly realistic, so I paused the sim and saved/named the weather so that I could re-use it another time.I can use the load button to reload the same weather at PAJN,but how do I get the same weather theme/textures to load at a different airfield .I can manually edit a new metar with the same numbers as the saved metar ,but is there an easier way?regards Jim

I have been an extremely satisfied customer of HiFi Simulation for quite a long time. I never make even a short VFR flight in FS2004 without ASv 6.5 runningNow that more and more add-ons are available, I have just put together my "dream" system for FSX - A fast Core Duo with lots of memory and an NVida 8800GTX. I'm about to purchase The ASX/ASG bundle.My new computer is equipped with Vista Ultimate. I note from reading the forum, that .NET 2.0 is required for ASX to work. I believe that Vista comes with .NET version *3* pre-installed. Is .NET version 3 backwards compatible with version 2, or will I have to install .NET 2.0 as well in order for ASX to function?Thanks,Jim B…

I had to uninstall and reinstall Xengine loosing Xgauge on all my planes. I run Xgauge wizard and i got an error like I have not administrative rights on aircraft folders and the wizard ends.I'm running XP and not Vista and I haven't changed at all any right on my PC.Further I tried to bypass the problem copying the Xgauge.dll into the gauges directory: now i get the gauge but i don't see anymore the text advising that it is loading the weather and the gauge is very slow.Any suggestion to solve the issue?Thanks in advance

I have been having fatal errors causing FSX to freeze and crash. I believe it is due to ASX since this problem has not happened before. I have SP1 installed and it has been installed before installing ASX. I shut off Auto protect on Norton thinging that was it but it still occurred. I am flying mainly in the Philadelphia area. It doesn't happen right away sometimes as much as 20 minutes or more into the flight.Help!

I don't know what happened. I no longer can open the ASX engine screen, How many times I click on the bar. Screen doesn't open.Can you advise me how I shall recover the AS X Engine screen.Sanal

Greetings,First off I want to say I really like the product and you deserve kudos for your hard work.I've been trying to use it lately but during the download of weather I'm getting the error "Problem adding a virtual gap station: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.(Error) Source = "It connects to FSX fine but, the this error will not free up the applciation. When this happens ASX becomes unusable. This is very frustrating.Is there a way to stop the automatic download of weather when it starts up? I hardly ever use this feature. I have noticed that the altimeter changes very often when climbing. It seems to lower as you climb and hit the "B" key to auto set the altimeter setting when the reporting station has not changed. I have climbed within 10 miles of my departure airport, that never changed in the reporting station and kept hitting "B" while I was climbing and the altimeter would change very often, mostly going down. This should not happen unless i pass FL180 then it should go to 29.92.Steve

Total my flight started at OMDB and the QNH generated by the Activesky is only Q0996, which is very low. So I adjusted my A/C accordingly, however, the altimeter displayed to me is -480ft, which is totally weird

I am a beta tester on Vancouver plus (Jon Patch and Holger Sandmann)I have spotted a small misalignment issue of the HiFi sim X-Graphics road textures - it appears alternate road tiles are slightly mismatched. Hey all,Just downloaded and installed ASX and X Graphics. When I load ASX and go to MAP nothing happens. That is, there is no graphic in the middle. The mouse cursor goes to hour glass, and just stays like that. Is there something wrong here?Also, what do I have to do do get ASX weather into FSX? With AS6.5 all you did was set user defined and it worked. I've done that with FSX and get no weather at all. I'm not getting any simconnect errors.Cheers,Kael

It it such a huge differerance even from ASV6.5I am wondering if anything can be done with regards to the fog in that it seems to ripple when it comes into contact with the terrain in mountainous areas. I find that the fog is rather thin looking, being from the Pacific Northwest I am used to a thicker soupy kind of fog. I don't know what the answer is, I like fog but it looks too thin and if you were to reduce the dewpoint setting then the fog is no longer at a certain altitude but it becomes a layer of haze at a higher altitude.
