I am flying the Flight 1 Cessna Mustang for FSX which is a somewhat complex airplane. I have the ASA upgrade with beta patch installed and operating on a network. I find the winds aloft speed is not stable. For periods it is steady, but frequently it becomes quite irratic. At lower wind speeds the fluctuation is in the range of ten mph; at higher speeds it is much greater. The effect on the airplane is to make the airspeed jump about which impairs performance especially in a climb. If I slow the plane down substantially the wind speed stablizes. I can then increase the speed of the plane and the wind speed remains stable until the problem occurs again. I was also …

I bought ASA when it was first released and had the same problems everyone else was experiencing with winds and weather over oceans.The update has sorted that out for me - currently flying EGLL-KJFK in FS9 over the atlantic with no issues and amazing cloudscapes which are great improvement on AS 6.5 which suddenly had clear skies for me when I knew there should be clouds.All said and done very happy with ASA and the usual good support from the technical guysJohn

Although I posted this question to the bottom of another thread, that thread was not ASA specific, I'll post it here as new because you have not addressed it during the past week - perhaps you missed it. I'm a new customer (3 weeks) so if I am missing something in my settings I'm all ears. Or, If I can provide you with logs and such I am willing to help.As other have posted, I am experiencing a large delta from ISA. For instance, at 34000 I would expect no more than +/- 10 or 15 on average from ISA, but I sometimes have a delta from ISA in the range of +40. I have a FSX PC (call it Games machine) and a PC running all addons (call it Server). I have just moved ASX G to my Server machine where I run succesfully ASA. When I try to do the Extended Integration I get the following after about 10 mins. "Error during DTX output: The Specified network name is no longer available"

Hi!I'm not permitted to open my ASA any more due to the fact it's been used also by another machine. The reason is (I think): I purchased and paued for two ASA-products late dec 08 to be used on my two PCs. I may have been installing one product on two PCs instead of one product on each. Although this may have been covered already and please forgive me if it has... I have just upgraded from as 6.5 to ASA. Weather is not being depicted in FS9 it appears.I have made sure FSUIPC is installed and all weather options turned off. I just downloaded ASA and get the error message saying that my license has been activated on multiple computers each time I try to start it. It repeatedly continues to attempt the initialization always giving me the same message that I have installed ASA on several other computers.After the download I entered the license key and it was accepted. Next, during initialization on the main screen I continually received messages that my license key was not activated. I clicked OK each time and the initialization would restart. hi,i just installed ASA (355) and did a couple of flights in FSX. to be honest, the new build is far superior to the original release. there is no more annoying cloud popping, good visibility transition, accurate weather depiction, no OOM's so far, and a lot of good things are in place. there are however a few minor problems:1. when flying through clouds, a fog layer appears suddenly and seems to fill the entire area with a thin layer of fog (happens suddenly). and when i exit the cloud the whole fog layer is gone (instant). happens whenever i fly into clouds.2. when a flight plan is loaded into ASA's briefing page, automatic downloads do not occur although i have set it …

ASA was a great buy and a very good upgrade from ASV6.5! Too bad I couldnt have got the discount upgrade as I bought ASV5 back in the day then upgraded it to 6.5 lol. After 31 hours of flight, I'm offering my feedback:A few dissapointments about ASA (even with the current version + BETA installed.) DWC seems kind of effective but notice very often the wind speeds will fluctuate from e.g 30kts to about 65kts in an instant! Then a second later back to 30kts or something. After installing some WindowsXP updates today, ASA starts as minimized to the task bar and I can not restore the window.There is no problem connecting to FSX as I can see the green message bar in FSX saying ASA is connected and making weather depiction. I uninstalled and reinstalled ASA but that didn't solve the problem :( Also interestingly, after installing those windows updates, my computer is constantly downloading something and never stopping it; I don't know what it is downloading. I just purchased ASA and both flights I have attempted with it have frozen mid flight. This is something that has never happened before I was running ASA. The aircraft I was using were the PMDG MD-11 and the Flight1 Super 80 Classic with fspassengersX. Perhaps there is some conflict with FSpassengers or, much more likely, this is an issue related directly to ASA since it is brand new and problems are bound to occur. Can you please look into this issue because I do a lot of 3+ hour flights and it is very annoying to have FSX hang everytime I attempt a flight. Hello,One of the problems with ASA in FSX is that the weather around you suddenly changes in a second. This is particularly visible with clouds, when they can suddenly appear or disappear. Is there any option I should check in ASA to prevent this from happening? If not, will there be a fix soon that will take care of this problem?

Ok, I have ASX and ASA. I stopped using ASA because of inconsistencies and awaiting a working service pack before I try it again.. Mostly up until now I have been flying GA aircraft at less than 14000 feet. I am now playing around with high alt turboprops and I am noticing that:A. The winds aloft in FSX very rarely match up with the wind direction indicators in the ASX map screen at those altitudes.B. The winds aloft will rotate the direction sometimes as much as 180 degrees within a 3 minute period. Is it possible to somehow add turbulence when passing through clouds? FS2002 seemed to have great turbulent effects which FS9 - what I use - doesn't which is a shame. I dont have a registered version of FSUIPC. I believe that it has an option to increase it in cloud? Is that the only way? I guess I'm, just a turbulence freak. :)Jon Stevens.

Hi,when I start my vista and start the second Profile, where I disabled aero design and such, just use the classig theme, I get asked by ASA to enter a registration key! I requested a new and got it, entered it, but ASA does not like it.Why do I have to enter a new key anyway? I have installed ASA for every user, but at that time there was only one user account at my PC. I created a second profile for getting better FPS using the classic theme. So, why does the one key not work for my whole PC no matter which profile I use?
