When I fly my Cessna Citation Mustang, I have a number of sub panels displayed on my second monitor. This leaves me with a nice black hole in the 2D main panel to put my X box and I don't have room on the second monitor to put the X box. I must say my ASX and X Graphics program are working just great. My problem though, is if I open the ATC box, my X box disappears. It still shows in the instrument dropdown as checked and still displayed. I've unchecked it and checked it again, but it is just gone. On other aircraft, I just have the X box displayed on the second monitor, and the ATC window doesn't affect it. I really like having the info in the X box available, but…

Purchased ASX about two months ago and have yet to sucessfully use the program in FSX. I use Level D 767 almost exclusively in FSX.First problem noted was after FSX/Level D loaded after being launched from ASX, computer would hard lock after any of Level D's panel screens (FMS, Overhead, Throttle Quad) or instrument functions (airspeed indicator click spots). Computer reset button activation was the only way to regain control of the computer. I also noticed some minor glitches in ASX's interface.I just installed ASX SP4 Build B1169. Hello, I'm experiencing the following issue when using ASX (build 1163):During takeoff, the airspeed drops suddenly, losing between 40 and 60 knots. It happens on any aircraft, no matter if i turn the pitot heat on or off. If I deactivate ASX, the issue goes away.Is this a known problem and is there a solution to it?Many thanks!Gil

Hello allI'm not quite sure how this works but I have selected ASA to force to real time (GMT) but it never does!! And is ASA supposed to automatically set the time and season in FS9?Also whenever I go on line with VATSIM, ASA gives me the current info but when contacting ATC with this they always tell me the current info is different.Hope that all makes sense.Thanks

Help. I have the latest beta for ASA and it still flies s turns and then dives into the ground on auto pilot. I have to quit and setup downloaded weather in fs for the auto pilot to work right.i have vista x64, account is administrator with that security disabled. latest nvidia/sound/motherboard/windows updates/etcShould I try a complete reinstall of ASA?

I've succeeded in finding my ideal FSX settings (average 33fps on top graphic settings on a medium-spec dual-core) but I'm left with just one problem and I can't seem to cure it: ASA (SP1 beta) is causing a huge 15+fps drop every 1-2 seconds, and that's wrecking any chance of smooth flight.If I apply global or historic weather (which deactivates active downloading), all is perfect! Equally, I can download current weather and, provided I then quit ASA in the background, my fps is perfect once more, even in the heaviest CPU-intensive weather left behind by ASA. I got the following problem:Using ASA and my visibility is limited to 30nm. If I start up my FS9 before starting ASA, I get limited visibility in FS9. If I have ASA open, and start FS9, then I don't get the limited visibility.Is this a known problem?Tested many times, it has been confirmed here that it happens every time.I can restart the ASA, then I get the limited 30nm visibility. But no other way to "fix" it. It's a pain to restart ASA, long load, loading FP etc...Help!

new to xgraphics and ASA..my xgauge don't come on..just black screen saying dwnloading something but never comes on..even after an hr. uninstalled xgauge and uninstalled asa and reinstalled...even unistalled and reinstalled xgraphics still gauge wont come on...did come oin the first time i tried but notta after. also installed ASA-update-B355 and also XB-SP4-B301 update but still nothing and also ASA-update-B394...still nothing....can anyone help?

Hi,I have been putting up with differences between what the above mentioned apps are reporting. Specifically, at any one time (particually at arrival), FSX (shift z) tells me wind is 345 at 10. Radar Contact and ASA report something completely different. I'm not talking about small variances. I see wind direction and magnitude vary by as much as 180 degrees and 10 to 20 knots. I am using the new beta on FSX but this is not something new and to top it off the AI is using a different active runway. It's like 'Unitarian' air traffic control. Hello,if have a major issue since some days. I was flying from OMDB to WIII and onwards to YMML and at Enroute Wind of 324/24 which was Tailwind. Every 2 minutes my aircraft starts bouncing up and down with down and uprate on the VSI of maximum 700 feet in both directions.I am using:FS9.1Vista 32bitASA SP1and so on....Aircraft flying with was PMDG MD11Also just used every options described here in the forum.Hope someone can help me and i can solve this issueBest Regards and thanksMarco

This may have already been asked but when I get weather AS gives VIS at 10sm. RC gives it maybe 50sm. Is there anyway to get AS and RC ATIS together so they can read the same weather?ThanksEddie

Hi,Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm due to get back into simming after a long break due to my system dying on me. I would just like someone to remind me of the correct order to install Active Sky on FS2004, do I install it before I install the FS2004 update file that Microsoft released 9.1 I think it was, or do I do it the other way round? The reason I ask is because when I initially installed Active Sky a long time ago, I had issues with it, which I found out was due to the order in which I had installed it versus the fs2004 update, but I can't remember which way round I should do it. Just landed at Chicago/DuPage Co Il with winds 10 gusting 22. No problem with that, but the gusts were like clock work instead of being at random times. Is it possible to tweak things in the next version to simulate much more random gust effects?

Do i need to uninstall Acceleration to get the SDK SP2 installed to make ASA work? I have SP1a on, and the download page for the SDK SP2 says not to install it if i already have acceleration on my PC

Hey guys,Congrats again, I spent all night last night, installing ASA on a WideFS box, moving GEPro over to the same box, uninstalling GEPro and ASSV6.5 from the FS box and then of course defragging all the free space I had :)One quick question, How do we integrate ASA and FSBuild? I am trying to point FSBuild to \\widefsclientbox\asa but I am not getting any winds aloft data into FSBuild.Is the same type of integration between ASV6.5 and FSBuild available in ASA? After 3 legs in my LDS 767 it is a great improvement for FSX. I really like the cloud draw suppression to avoid those annoying cloud pops. Metar depiction appears to be much better. Cloud layers seem to be much thicker and overcast layers really appear solid. I was using Sim connect 1 with the first beta to cure wind shifts but am using the normal Sim connect 2 now. Will have to try the PMDG MD11 next. Thanks HiFi for all the hard work getting all these issues worked out. Even though there is not going to be an FS11 anytime soon it is nice to know this great add on won't be obsolete anytime soon.

Hello,I allways start ASA at first when I wan t fly and load my route for weather planning. Then starting FS9 and load a saved flight with cold and dark Cockpit.This is normaly another place where I want to start but ASA connect to FS and does update the weather. Now I change the Airport to the one I want to take off but ASA doesn't make a weaher update now so I have to close it and start again. Can I force it manually to make a weather update for the new Airport ?Best RegardsAxel

I'm really hoping someone can advise on anything I should be looking out for, any settings I've missed etc.I'd upgraded from ASX (which used to run beautifully) to ASA, which hammered my CPU cores to the point that it became unusable.
