Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  1. A retro aircraft ahead of it's time, I'm flying the Black Square Beech Starship from Las Vegas NM to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan (Jeffco) KBJC just north of Denver, CO. LAS by FlyTampa, BJC by Propair. Glorious paintjob by TimHH! Just after sunrise time to preflight her We'll depart RY 19R. We file for FL330 - and we should true out around 320 ktas or so - but we should have a partial tailwind. The routing is KLAS MMM BCE J60 DBL POWDR1 KBJC. Sin City Actually quite beautiful topography as we look toward Lake Mead/Hoover Dam area I actually picked up a little icing through that layer (was surprised to see any clouds…

  2. Started by ryanbatc,

Alright, I've learned a lot over the last week or so. It's time for a full flight from Minneapolis, MN to Chicago, IL in the Fenix A320. I took many pics so I've got to split up the post. This is a full cold and dark, start the battery and APU and loading of fuel and people etc etc. We've also got a sweet tailwind so we'll cruise a little slower (around mach .75 or so) for fuel efficiency. I think I filed for FL310. The routing for the flight was: KMSP RST RST1 ZZIPR FYTTE7 KORD. I was originally going to fly Delta but I found this lovely JetBlue special paint. We'll push from Terminal 2 at KMSP Smell those sweet APU fumes haha …

you can't really set the autopilot but it mostly works and there is a update being worked on. I used to live on Whidbey Island in 1978 dad was stationed on the Navy base there. I loved it back then.

  4. Today, I was looking for something different and heavy...🙂...to fly. This C-17 Globemaster III (for MSFS2024) caught my attention, available for daily rental, in the Marketplace. So, I took it out for a short round-trip flight, departing from Geneva (LSGG) airport, in the southeasterly direction, for about 50-60 miles to the top of Mont Blanc Mountain in the French Alps. The mountain sits directly on the border between France and Italy, with the summit located in French territory. At 15,772 ft elevation, its stunning (snow-laden) peak is the highest in Europe outside the Caucasus Mountains (see my overfly of it in shot #s 10-11, below). I lift off Runway 22 of Geneva…

  6. Received this VFR clearance by Say.Intentions. What is ROG Transition? Didn't find anything on the Fly chart (including the inset). No comment on the "at or below the 7'000 ft" for a 3 min flight taking off at 3'000 😉 The taxi was fun with Say.intentions with Citations, a DA40 and lot of airliners on the other runways. Great ambiance! Departing 19L with Flytampa scenery: Short final at Henderson (KHND): The perfect VFR exercice for me (as a PPL) to stay ahead of the plane. Some time, I skip the direct heading to have more room to prepare/check/listen... etc. Great practise for me!

  10. Took a late afternoon flight out of EGLL across London and down to my favourite pier. I'd just put on the "Immersive Lights UK" package and was curious to see how it looked. Doesn't cure the weird floating streetlights thing in MSFS but is an improvement over the default lighting, in my eyes at least. Using the AH Hawker Fury - I rather like those old Hawker bi-planes. I'm using the free version of Postimage now for hosting, and that seems to reduce the image size so although these were all taken in 4k, they've shrunk a bit for here. Passing over the Hoover factory in the first shot. PO Tower, as I still think of it, ahead City Heading …

The first shot shows when I finally got out of the dark clouds it was such a relief to see the sky again. It felt like I was in the clouds for an hour but it was probably more like 30 minutes. 2020 DHC-2 Beaver in 2024.

Finishing our Minneapolis to Chicago flight as we descend on the FYTTE7 arrival and fly an ILS RY 27C Approaching Rockford (I think hehe) Chicago approach would have us now and they'll eventually give us vectors to final approach course for the ILS 27C Quite a lovely evening over Chicago Over the Sears Tower (I mean Willis lol) There's no ice on Lake Michigan yet.. but it's cold down there! We've got our approach clearance! The sim is quite impressive looking - at the intersection of I-94 and US14 Again with the stunning paintjob. I've done many paints but I'd never …

Hi all, here I started at Salt Lake City KSLC and went to Phoenix Sky Harbor KPHX. To make it bit faster I used the fighter there. It can cruise at 480 knots for hours. It's a special test aircraft in that paint. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

  20. To test my new v3 update for this small airfield, I put real time weather (MSFS) and the surroundings were spectacular! New CHP installation: New default runway textures now available for MSFS2024: Threatening weather ahead! In the sim, there's a risky attraction to fly into this weather condition. Weird effect of rain, I suppose. Can't negate that I'm over the circuit... Lining-up runway 7 Totally useless so 100% necessary: the fuel price has been updated (1/1/26):

  21. I had a nice tailwind tonight, flying from Inverness in the highlands of Scotland, to Teeside Airport in North East England. Once in '850 mode' the TBM just opened up and soon TAS had passed 300kts! In descent I reached my peak ground speed - 385 kts, which equates to 447mph .... in a small, single-engined turboprop!

  23. LTU is an airline that has always caught my attention since my earliest days in this hobby. I distinctly recall flying the LTU 757s, L-1011s, and MD-11s in the earlier SIMs. So, as I was looking through the (base) pack of liveries that came with this (nice) Just Flight F-28 add-on, I came across this striking (red & white) LTU livery for the F.28 Mk 1000 (F28-1000) variant (please also see my earlier post where I'd flown the (larger) F28-4000 variant). The rise and fall of LTU International Airways (usually shortened to LTU) is a most fascinating segment of Germany's (modern) aviation history. First of all, for over 50 years, the iconic (bold) red and white liver…

  24. Some hours of tweaking and here's a new update for my Kern Valley freeware. Turning final: Short final over the Kern river: Popular campground ramp on a sunny (not too windy hopefully) week-end: The default runway texture are awesome in MSFS2024: The "new" taxiway sign. At least for me, taken from an recent video footage: Kern valley as seen from above:

How amazing it was to fly over Las Vegas at night. Almost forgot that feeling! After taking off runway 1R, left turn when able make it fly over the Sphere "Fly me to the Moon!" The Luxor light beam Short final 1L at KLAS. A quick look at the Sphere. Holding short 1L to cross (Say Intention still wants to make me take off from 1R) Holding short 1R. Traffic injected by Say Intentions. "One day, I'll grew up"
