The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. Started by Jack_Sawyer,

Yosemite is really well done in this Orbx ad-on.

  2. Having battled with this aircraft for weeks, the mighty fine folks around here pointed out the error of my ways and at last I have managed to get successfully from Cold and Dark to ILS Landing! Special thanks to @P_7878 for tracking down my error. These shots are stills taken from an OBS Studio through-the-VR-lens video of a short flight flight from EBOS Ostende in Belgium, to EGKK London Gatwick in UK. From a VR point of view, there is an added dimension to this aircraft as it has, of course, a third and vital crew position - the Engineer station. Here's a shot of the pilot/copilot positions: The Engineer's station is at the right of…

  3. Ciao amici! The journey continues! And this will certainly be one of the most scenic flights of my trip around the globe. We’ll be flying from beautiful Venice across Tuscany towards Rome, then continuing on to Naples and the Amalfi Coast before landing in Benevento, near Naples. I almost forgot how big Italy actually is — today’s flight time was nearly four hours! I’ve really been looking forward to this leg — and thankfully, the weather was on my side. When it mattered, we had a tailwind of almost 20 knots, and there wasn’t a single cloud to spoil the view. And what can I say? The Italian landscape is so diverse that it never gets boring. Alright, befo…

  9. Flight from SBGL to SBCF, an inland route departing from the coast of Brazil. Used a Classic DC-3, which means it is fitted with a Gyropilot in lieu of a GPS & AP. Within about 20 miles of the coast a backbone of hills reaching 5,000' looms, and the DC-3 was working hard to get over it. In fact I had to divert through a notch in the hills to clear it. 10. Good afternoon folks. Today's flight from Calgary, Alberta to Peoria IL in our sawed-off stubby little fourteen-dollar PMDG 737-600 is expected to take just a little over 3 hours. We'd like to welcome on board a group of insurance Actuaries who are travelling to their annual Risk Statistics symposium being held at the beautiful Holiday Inn Express in East Peoria. We should be getting underway as soon as the catering truck completes delivery of our special inflight meal, which for today will be vegetarian coleslaw and specially prepared mustard-free potato salad with extra mayonnaise. We kindly ask that passengers leave all window shades closed during the fli…

  11. Started by vbazillio,

My plan was to fly from Tampa to Orlando with the WB-Sim C172 and Say Intentions for communications and AI traffic. Ambiance was awesome at departure. Settings are to the max and hopefully my PC is strong enough. Reshade makes picture less yellow'ish. Pictures below are just cropped. No color editing. I was there 15 years ago with a C172 under the exact same iconic canopy of Sheltair FBO: At that time, arriving with our Cessna 172, we parked under the canopy and get the carpet from the ramp guy (thank you!) Now, with MSFS24 and Say Intentions, I'm not the only one planning an early departure. Weather is 24hours MSFS Realtime weather. …
