The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Having been lately flying (plenty) all the ultramodern (ultra-haul) jetliners (such as the 777, 787, 330, 340, 350, 777-X etc.)...🙂..., I thought today that it's time for a different experience, considering these holidays...🙂..., warranting a bit more challenge than the mundane (and fully automated) lateral and vertical (FBW) managed modes of the Boeing and Airbus jets...Oh well...no harm dreaming a bit from the easy chair of a virtual aviator...🙂... So, this (native MSFS2024) Just Flight F28 Professional caught my attention today in the Marketplace. First of all, my hats are off to the developers such as Just Flight, PMDG, and iniBuilds etc., for making their produc…

Hi all, here the Singapore Cityscape addon can be seen but because of the cloud sceneries it's much more dense scenery around, so looks more realistic than in 2020. Also the WSSS Changi is better. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Agua Dulce Airport (L70) is a scenic, single-runway (4'205 ft) airfield nestled in Southern California’s Sierra Pelona Mountains, perfect for flight simmers seeking challenging short-field landings and stunning visuals. At 2,630 ft elevation, its rugged surroundings and proximity to Vasquez Rocks create a realistic backcountry flying experience, while the CTAF (122.8 MHz) and quiet ramp add to the immersion. Ideal for light GA aircraft, L70 is a hidden gem for practicing mountain flying just 40 NM from Los Angeles. Don’t forget to account for turbulence and density altitude 😉

Today being Friday, I was in the mood for some excitement, fun, and speed in my virtual world...🙂...Lo and behold, the MSFS2024 Beechcraft (light) Business Jet, the B390 Premier 1A, trending on my Xbox/MSFS opening screen, immediately drew my attention. This a/c was released by Carenado for MSFS2024 on Nov. 11, with an MSFS2020 version expected to follow soon. Anyway, I thought to myself, here I go again, about to be ensnared by the external beauty of yet another Carenado aircraft...🙂...notwithstanding any lack of fidelity (and authenticity) of the internal avionics, that I am likely to encounter. I was not disappointed on either count...🙂...This (SIM) airplane is su…

Hi all, my new 2024 on Steam works better now than the store version a year ago, the sim seems to be on the right track. So these shots are from my usual testflight EDDM-EDDF in the B737 Max here and it was a flawless flight. Sorry, no landing lights when going down but I was watching other details...🙂 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

After some internal debates I decided to buy the Fenix A320. Visually it's a delight... I had spent some time watching videos from Jonathan Beckett so far. Let me know if there are better ones. (Because I really need them lol). I was quite proud of myself for starting the APU, and adding the MCDU entries, importing the weight and balance via Simbrief (hindsight isn't 20/20 LMAO). Obviously I fly like 99% GA so I know how to do SIDS/STARs/IAPs etc etc. But the Airbus is still so new to me. I had used the FBW a little in the past but it's a little quirky and everyone said "just get the Fenix!" Well I'm blown away so far. The sounds are incredible, the flight model…

In my previous post, I'd illustrated the Boeing 777X, the upcoming, newest, largest version of Boeing's popular 777 wide-body jetliner, featuring next-gen technologies such as the folding wingtips (folding wingtips feature is however not modelled in the simplistic rendition of the 777-8, that I'm using here). In that post, I'd also indicated that the (larger) 777-9 Pax variant is confirmed to be launched by Lufthansa within a year or two. The Boeing 777-9 will be currently the longest commercial airliner ever built, measuring nearly 252 feet long. For comparison, I've shown a simple Bar Chart (see shot #2 below) showing some of the longest airliners of today's avia…

In my previous post, someone refreshed my memory that Lufthansa, though, never operated the (once, and still, ubiquitous and vastly popular) long-haul twinjet, the Boeing 777, this airline is no stranger to the type. It's just that I bear a (friendly) grudge against the airline...🙂...during my 2+ decades of loyal (long-haul) travels with it, because it never flew me on a (pax) 777 (in their defense, they did not actually operate any 777 for pax use). So, I was forced to take recourse to UAL for flying in the 777...🙂...with membership advantage of the same Star Alliance. As I recall, I flew with Lufthansa mostly on DC10/A330/A340/B744/B748, notice the leading DC10 Tri…
