The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I haven't posted in here from a while, so here are a few shots from X-plane, of just scenery, no add-on aircraft. Most of these shots include a combination of Payware and freeware. Areas shown are: San Francisco, NYC, St. Martin, Juneau AK, & Phoenix. I may have missed one or two. I'm running X-plane in windowed mode and spanning it across two 27" monitors to get the widescreen effect. Surprisingly, it runs very good like this, but most likely Ill just do this for screenshots. I planned a flight this morning from YPEC-YRED and with a planning of using VOR's...it took me from the coast, a ways into the mainland. I couldn't figure why my flight plan came out to be at a cruise of 10,000 feet ASL, as I had not encountered any real mountains in my exploration of Australia since getting into it with my Orbx current sale purchases. Well...about an hour into my flight plan at a cruse speed of 140 knots, I found out why the controllers had me climb to 10,000 feet... ....between YPEC and YRED, there be mountains....with these two pics, I'd say the tops are sitting only about 3, 000 feet below me. To Carl, I recommend this trip, IFR, wit…

A couple of shots from World Of Warplanes. Yes, it's arcade, Yes it's not a simulation and Yes it has absolutely no systems depth. But: It's sooo much fun... And it accelerates your heart rate too Furthermore, it's absolutely free if you can resist the temptation of paying money for progressing the tech trees faster ...

P3D v3.2.3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do realize this post is over the standard allowed shots, but, this is a very large and detailed airport, with lots to see. If I had made this two parts or posts, any comments would have orphaned the other part, and not properly represented the sequential 'story-board' that I took the time to make. So, i do ask an allowance for this post. It was made to offer the most to the viewer, and I hope all enjoy the Canberra International Airport Tour Mitch -------------------------------------------------------------…
