- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.

The new Grumman Mallard by Milton Shupe & team – a most wonderful freeware addon for our flight sim experience! This is surely one of the all-time greats, which means it is what we can expect from Milton: absolutely state-of-the-art and then some! Available for FS9 and FSX. A turboprop version is in the works. Everything is right about this plane. The level of detail in this model is awesome! And she flies great too. Just look at those big radials. And they sound great too! And the prop discs are perfect! Also take note of the exterior windows ... the reflection, the window frame. This level of attention to detail has been lavished on all aspects o…

Continuation of my last leg. Ooops ... already started and forgot to press the release . Susitna River Endless Alaska I was here already once, to be more precise "down there" - namely the airfield of Fire Island. PANC is right to the right end of the picture ... ... and now directly below the landing gear. To the right: the city of Anchorage. Mountains ... Approaching Seward (PAWD). I will fly over the town for a teardrop approach. Uh ... oh ... slightly overshot But not a problem for a fearless bush pilot

If you are not tired of my day flying the Papuan bush , here are episodes 4 and 5. From Tapini to Kokoda, the flight is easy. I just had to find another route because of a cloud. Taking off from Tapini to turn into a clouded narrow valley is suicidal. The whole flight can be found here Kokoda to Emo mission, the fifth flight, was trickier as you do a hard turn to the right in a short final. The whole flight is here

Taking a morning flight from Manchester EGCC to Tenerife (South) GCTS. Just a short while after top of climb About an hour to go.. Anyone spot an island? It should be right on the nose! There's a reasonably large hill nearby somewhere.. She'll be flying round the mountain when she comes.. All dirtied up and ready for the tarmac.. Why did Ground allocate us this gate? I hope the 737 doesn't want to move. Someone else can jolly well shift our 767! Some of the passengers are getting rowdy already (don't think the drinks trolley has any stock left). Hope they're not too drunk and disorderly and get out of the airport ok. Honestly, some days I…

Getting back into the swing of things after a long break from flight sims. First a few touch 'n go's at KRNT to warm up, then a short hop to Allan Island, a small unlisted airstrip near Anacortes.

The homeward journey; return from the Lone Ranger flight to Singapore. Instead of Gan to Masirah, we go from Gan to Dubai. The runway at Masirah isn't long enough for the uptake of fuel we need to reach Akrotiri. Dubai has a huge runway Early morning takeoff from Gan Climbing out - smoking power! Uneventful flight around M0.9 over MMFO and MMFD. Where are those airfields you ask? Well, the first one is miles & miles of.... Water. The second is the same but .... desert. This might have originated with some RAF crews during the Gulf War when our US friends were asking the whereabouts of the RAF jets. "Oh we're just passing over MMFD". If it's not true…
