The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Landing a warbird as powerful as the P-51 on a short and narrow runway is kinda intimidating. The key to success ? Be zen ! Here is Glamorous Gal (the A2A Simulations Mustang) landing in the OrbX Samoas Z08. The PIREP is here

Beautiful dusk flight starting out from EDAZ ... ... in the Carenda C182Q, one of my favourite sim planes I flew real-time, real-weather ... ... ASN managed to deliver pretty much what I saw RW: blustery winds with rain squalls and a strange yellowish sky. I've recently added the vignette effect to my in-sim looks (through sweetfx). I find that it greatly increases immersion as it kind of simulates FOV and thus softens the screen edges. I passed over Berlin ... and then I had to cook dinner for my wife

Hey everybody, hope you are all well. Got some different shots for you this evening. Got a little tired of the GA stuff and took it up a level and got the airbus out. Still trying to play around with some settings within FSX and i gotta say i think i got SweetFX looking rather nice now. Been playing about in Photoshop too still experimenting with things. Also i am having problems with my AA at the moment so i am in the process of sorting that out to remove some of the jaggies for you. Anyways heres to the shots. Thanks guys. Happy flying as always.

.......well, that's because, just like FSX/P3D, the default scenery isn't so fantastic out of the box. So, if you're trying X-Plane 10 for the first time, here's what to do :- Go to this website, and download the (free) photoscenery tiles for the Canary Isles (Canarias) - shown in the bottom right corner of the grid of Spain):- http://www.spainuhd.es/p/descarga.html .....at the same website, also download the Coastline download for the Canaries. (at the bottom left of the screen) Now, go to this website:- http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/ (registration needed to download files), and enter ....and enter these ICAO codes into …

I've been experimenting with my SweetFx settings again. The new settings give a nice illusion of atmospheric depth ... ... and ground detail is also not too shabby Clarity of textures can be much improved with SweetFx. VC shot with new settings. I like the blue haze look South of Berlin ... ... and Schonefeld Airport to our right. UT Europe's take on main South Berlin railway trunk line. Some hot weather thunderstorms developing. A perfect summer day. Just some high cirrus. Well I do see some clouds forming over those hills. ASN is amazing!
