The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. There is such great detail, in most of the Orbx coastline airports and adjacent scenery, but you need a water-plane and even better, an amphibian...so you can take off from that custom Orbx airport, and then, eventually, land upon any water-body you wish...be it lake, river, or ocean... These are shots on the inland side of the sand bar, that protects Caloundra (YCDR), Australia Case in point, here is an Orbx PeopleFLow character in his motorboat, waving to you as you pass him by...you never would enjoy this animation, if you could not get close enough to his boat... Final case-point...look at th…

Just a few angles... minimal flying... a full review from me will have to wait. I enjoyed the Milton Shupe version immensely... so this is a nice "upgrade." (slightly edited - highlights increased for brightness) (Ditto) Probably the most realistic textures I've seen at night yet...

  5. I thought you guys (especially those who like ORBX) might like those shots I took recently on a very nice trip of approx. 2500nm from Sydney to Pago Pago Intl. in American Samoa. Only approach pictures as it was too dark at midnight time when I departed. Approaching the island: Circling to RWY23: Almost lined up, dropped the landing gear just after this shot: Finally approaching the runway with a slight offset of 8°, trying to maintain the calculated VRef of 162kts: Landing was ok, not bad for my first manual landing in the Concorde At the gate: A few nice shots from the location: …

I'm not sure, wether I should have posted this under the P3D forum or here, as I post a few screenshots. Once I learned a few months ago that Carenado was working on the AC 500, I really got excited, as I have flown in her as passenger a couple of times. I didn’t test any systems yet. I just took her out for a spin around Pago Pago and wanted to experience her behavior in flight. In short, she flies like a dream or like I think a plane of that age should behave. Also landing her was a walk in the park. The cabin has a vintage (or should I say: worn) appearance that fits the plane just right and the engine sound is just the way I seem to remember it. I think that I wi…

Hi there! I just finished some base patterns around the freshly released Aerosoft EDDT. It really looks very nice! Perfomance wise, ist not really better than the old version that is part of the German Airports 3 bundle. But it clearly looks much better. It also contains a nice ground image for the vicintiy of the airport. I flew the Aerosoft Airbus, and had some nasty weather, and with FTX Open LC, Vector and Trees HD, and REX4 incl. soft clouds, fps went as low as 14-15, but it´s been stutter free and still completely flyable. Here you can see some impressions:
