The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi, I came over from Moscow, Arkhangelsk and Naryan-Mar to Khantiy-Mansiysk with my Tu-134 en-route for Siberia. I thought it would be nice to sit in another cockpit for some hours before flying further east with the Tupolev. Ural is not that far away, so I decided to make a trip to the mysterial Dyatlov Pass area with a trustworthy Il-14. You know what/where Dyatlov Pass is? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyatlov_Pass_incident This plane already had served with the Polar flying detachement of Aeroflot! Weather was not bad, and so we - two pilots, seven passengers - took of into the skies of the West-Siberian l…

If you run a G.A. at this airport, or who knows..perhaps a study-level tuber...(I don't have one for P3D), you can get great FPS, right at the terminal, with a decent system. I don't care about FPS any more with the present version, but posted it here, to show you that not only can you get great rates..but that even more important, you can port this FSX/P3D1 over to your P3D v2 and P3D v3 sims, with merely only copying the airport folder into your proper Orbx/AU folder for that sim...and then using the Scenery Library to ADD it to same said. Here is YBBN running with all x-flow techs in play, and Jetways are animated in this scenery.

Im playing around with G2XPL and created some photo scenery for Phoenix.. I took the default F4 Phantom up so I could get a quick look at how it came out. FYI - These airports are all freeware from Mister6X. Rob

Hello fellow pilots I just wanted to test Pe11e's shaders pack 1.1. So I took the good old T-Duke, planned a trip from EGGD (Bistol, UK) to LFST (Strasbourg, France) I do not know why, colors and shadows are not the same in 1080p and DSR 4x. When switching to DSR 4x to take a screenshot, shadows are slightly darker, and terrain slighlty more saturated. That is why I am not 100% ok with the result : clouds and bright tones are a bit burnt, and shadows a bit too dark to me, but you get the idea about what you can achieve thanks to Pe11e work.

I've been using ScreenShooter v1.6 for about 10 years to take multiple screenshots while flying in FS9 and FSX. When you hit Print Screen, this little utility automatically captures the screen image in a jpg, assigns a filename, and stores it in the folder of your choice. It's been great to take multiple screenshots while flying without having to paste and save each image individually. Now, after upgrading to Windows 10, this utility still launches, but doesn't capture any screenshots and store them anymore. Does anyone with Win10 use a similar utility that works in Win10 to capture multiple screenshots while flying? Thanks for any recommendations.

As a long time FSX/P3D user, I was always skeptic of X-Plane, specially after migrating to P3D. I was (and still am) really happy with the progress the P3D platform has made and plan to keep using it. In the end of last year, however, seeing that X-Plane was being sold on Steam for something like 5 Euros, I decided to give it a shot. Six months later, I could not be happier with that move. Yes, there are a couple of difficulties, mainly with ATC/Traffic when flying offline, but considering that I only fly on VATSIM/IVAO that is not an issue for me and, honestly, I think that the native P3D/FSX issues are much harder to deal with. The amount of quality payware rece…
