The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  3. FSX:SE, HD airport upgrade by Zinertek, up to date freeware EGCC AFCAD, freeware Airport Hotel Manchester, freeware Alphasim Victor with UKMIL prototype paint scheme. Barman! 5 pints of your finest British ale for me and my crew. Chop, chop. Thank you. Awesome jet which first flew in 1953. The best looking of all the V-bombers. No argument that the Vulcan is the most iconic of the 3 and is a beauty in its own right, but the Victor was something else. Shame about the terrain artefact, will have to look into sorting that out :(

Latest version of Outerra is out with earth 30m dataset, OSM rivers support, weather, and a lot of other little things. Though it was a good opportunity to do a small album, it's been a while I haven't posted anything here Ilyushin Il-14P, by Levi. Earth 30 dataset brings some nice refinement, especially in mountains areas. Rain in action. Water droplets are so small the jpeg compression makes those barely visible. I really like the Illushin cockpit lights. And a few environmental screens: Sunset + rain gives lovely results Clear sky, sunset and slightly elevated atmospheric humidity for light refraction. Hop…

I wanted to share some pics I took during a quick flight from EKCH to ESSA. This flight was more of a test than anything, but quick enough I could do this evening with the limited time I had. Nothing too extraordinary here, just using what I have flying with lately, the Aerosoft Airbus A320, REX TD w/SC, ASN FlyTampa's Copenhagen and ORBX's Stockholm/Arlanda and lastly MyTraffic 6. -Jim

  16. I've been redoing my install of P3D 3.2 with all of the latest and greatest OrbX Global products, combined with the awesome (and free!) FreeMeshX. Everything combines to make the best looking (and most accurate) P3D/FSX I have used to date. Somewhere in British Columbia: Switzerland: More Switzerland: One more Switzerland: Anchorage, AK:

After a while of flying in P3D (I got annoyed with a some payware X-Plane aircraft & their developers for lack of updates, bugs and general attitude to payware customers), I decided to fire up X-Plane today and try out the recent SkyMaxx upgrade and spend some time learning the 767.

Hi there! DX9 is still going strong, especially when combined with ENB (simple sun mod textures + ENB palette, here from the AVSIM forum). Plane is the wonderful Carenado Phenom 300, with Bert Pieke´s fantastic GTN750 mod. Scenery is ORBX Open LC EU, FS Mesh 2010, FTX Vector, FTX trees HD, Aerosoft EDDR and Flightport´s freeware EDFM. I hope, you enjoy:

  23. I would just like to make a short statement, before you view the pics. I have been using P3D v3.2.3 for about a solid two weeks now. I have it running hot and smooth, mostly full out features. This is the finest, and best flight simulation software, that I have ever had the pleasure to install, and use. It is this version of P3D, that gives me total realism, fabulous stutter-free complex graphics, graphics so good upon my monitor, that I always feel that I AM looking through the glass of the cabin windows around me. Simply...and plainly fabulous usage. Again...the best that I have on my system, and quite frankly...I have them all, .......on my system..... Chee…
