The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A few shots in P3Dv3.2 with REX 3 & 4 textures, RSP1.1 with my own cloud shader, and Orbx England. A pretty hot combo I think.

Yes I'm sure you can, and these are probably not totally realistic, but boy was it a delight flying over these reefs. P3Dv3.2

  13. Got a call from one of my pilots in Telluride (KTEX) saying he had food poisoning from a some crab he had on the layover. We didn't have any other pilots available for the upcoming flight so I hopped in the company Lear 24 and headed that way from KSFF(Spokane) I get there and find the Hawker ready to go,after a few hours our passengers arrive and we are off to Aspen, When I get off the jet in Aspen, I notice hydraulic fluid leaking from the landing gear,Thankfully one of our other jets was also in Aspen and didn't leave till afternoon the next day so the copilot and I took it for tonight's charter to Palm Springs (KPSP) and left the mechan…

Today I uninstalled FS9 and all related addons from my PC... I installed FS9 in 2003 for the first time and reinstalled it again in 2010 after a PC upgrade. I got FSX in 2007 but never felt the need to install it because I was really happy with FS9 and the way it performed. I finally installed FSX in 2011 and it has been my main sim ever since. Now that I'm considering a move to P3D, it is time to move on and reclaim that hard drive space. I posted these same shots on this Screenshot Forum in 2007. I can't believe these screenshots are almost 10 years old... They feature PMDG's 737NG for FS9. Hope you enjoy them. https://www.dropbox.com/…

Decided to purchase this beastie from Virtavia - North American's XB-70 Valkyrie. Quite a challenging plane to fly in that you cannot horse it around - more than 2Gs and it gets upset. More than 450 knots at low level and you get an overspeed warning, followed quite soon by another overstressed crash However, speed, range and altitude?? You've got those! That's how you buzz the tower (couldn't resist). Or at least the virtual tower & fire station of an updated EGCC for FXS:SE. Probably annoyed Manchester, not to mention most of the north west of England.

  20. The plane is the fantastic Milviz P-38 and the scenery is ORBX Global and Vector with a bit of photo-scenery and payware thrown in for good measure. Our first port of call will be St. Barth. Or at least I thought it would Luckily the fog has cleared and we can see St. Barth below us Am I ready for this? I’m not quite sure actually OMG!!! Ok, I made it in one piece, but I came in too fast, so I overshot the runway J I think this is Mustique, if I can remember correctly I think I have evolved into a ship-spotter We have left Saba behind us Ok boys, now comes the dull part: landing at St. Ma…

  22. Not much GA around these parts... But I put it to you that there is a need for something suited to those hops of maybe 100 nm. This is it, a full IFR suite including autopilot, making cruising the sights a real pleasure. And of course it gets in and out of places...
