The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  3. Mid-morning flight from Akrotiri with the Victor back to RAF Marham. She's rolling! Love the smoky climb-outs! We're all friends over Europe now, so straightforward flight over Greece and roughly diagonal to Holland. Bye bye, Holland! Hello England! Hello Marham! Weather was good enough for VFR to runway 6, despite some turbulence and thunderstorms in the distance. OOPS! "A bit late on the round-out, Hoskins!" as they say. Down! She won't fit in those hangars... Like bouncy castles gone wrong! Oh, nice formation parking from the fuel trucks. Right lads! Whose turn is it to get the brews in?... Ah, it would be mine due t…

  7. So, a morning start from Dubai, outside temperature's still about 30 degrees C though! I know the Burgh wasn't there in 72, but the apron could have been at almost any airport... & I'm recreating a flight using modern scenery. Some countries weren't as friendly to the RAF back then, so the flight had to be routed north over Bandar Abbas into Iran, then up through Iran, close to Tehran, into Turkey over Lake Van, south of Ankara turning south to go over the Med & Nicosia before landing at Akrotiri. NOTE - online flight planner (my quick and easy go-to) doesn't appear to have much in the way of picking your waypoints and/or VORs so I used the stock FSX fl…

  8. Started by HighBypass,

The reason I'm posting this is that we're all getting WOWed with beautiful add-ons, next-gen (almost!) sims, not to mention photoreal sceneries with proper meshes! (Hey, I've got 2 Gig's worth of Canary Island scenery!) Don't get me wrong. I love seeing all this stuff, but am I good to go posting up stock scenery etc. Not too bland? I do try and obtain freeware airfields & updated AFCADS when I can Anyhow for those of you who don't mind, ENJOY! If anything, it gives a baseline to compare the eye candy to! Hehe.

Continuation of my leg 2.4 - today direction East to ... we'll see. Today a different bush plane, but still ERA Alaska. Upwards to the clouds, in the background still visible PAWD. ... and leaving the clouds again. So much ice here. Enroute Shortly before arrival to one of the waypoints, the VOR Johnstone. Below is not (yet) my destination, otherwise I would have to take the parachute. But now ... for something completely different ... the landing lights (for PAVD - Valdez). "Stress" during the final approach. But I believe the captain of the cruise ship is also strained, such…

  17. Wow just been playing about with the amazing new RealismShader Pack by Pe11e available here dude is a genius. Absolute legend i must say. let me know what you guys think of these shots. My editing is only some blur, re size and a bit of colour enhancement other than that, it's just the sim. Appoligise for some errors in the blurring, its pretty late and i got a bit 'splat dash' ha-ha or better known as laziness ha-ha. Hope you enjoy these as much as i do but I'm pretty happy with my sim now even though i am currently using default aircraft with P3D V3.2 I have ORBX Global Base, Vector and Europe LC, Active Sky, Rex Soft Clouds and now the shader and im …

Hey Everybody, Just a few more quick shots that i found from a Wednesday night flight that i done to test a few things out in P3D, I think i departed out of Shoreham,EGKA if my memory serves me well ha-ha. These shots have been completely over edited but to a degree i quite liked the outcome of them. Still getting to grips with a few toys in Photoshop. Anyways i hope you like them and i will start uploading some new fresh material in the very near future. Good Evening to all and have a good one! Happy Flying!
