The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Cold weather flying in IMC today from Toronto City Center (CYTZ) to Ottawa (CYOW). Caught some stunning captures with a wintery mix of snow, clouds, and sun.

I'm still en-route to Memphis for the hand over and inspection...then I'll take her to my new Boeing scenery (I have to look up which field they paint the 777) to have her painted in FedEx colors. I wanted to post these now while in flight...not sure if I'll have enough juice this evening to post the whole flight. I didn't resize and use a lot of compression on all these shots, I really like showing bare metal aircraft. Starting my walk around...nose looks ok. What a massive engine! Got a tiger by the tail! LoL She's making her 1st run with FedEx cargo even before the paperwork is all done. Almost done loading the big girl …

...EDDN (from the org) to EDDH (JustSim), Ortho4XP, stock WX, stock clouds, MaxxFX, tweaked art controls, FJS B732 v3: Thanks for viewing!

XP11, FJS B732 v3. This addon has an outstanding texturing quality and is beautiful, to the tiniest detail, like the dynamic lighting, which shines onto the cabin window panels, or from the backlit overhead panel onto the switches... And that´s all happening with 40-50 fps and incredible smoothness! Thanks for viewing!

Im trying to do some soaring in FSX.....never tried it. Nice ORBX scenery in Austria. My bird looks like this.....no wing flex..the flaps or flaperons are not moving..yet it seems to fly ok. Is there something Im missing or is there something wrong with the vis model? Like I said..first time trying the gliders and not sure what is up with that. Im just selecting the aircraft..slewing up and going flying.

I believe the Campaign Against Aviation allows us to fly as low as we like over water as long as we're not within 500' of persons or structures? Blackpool Tower (not the airfield tower, THE Tower ) (Banter aside, the C.A.A. do have a nightmare of a job just trying to keep everyone safe IMHO on this tiny little, crowded, septic isle.)

A couple of different flights here. The one with the traditional Cessna 172 livery is over the Superstition Mountains and the site of the big Renaissance Pleasure Fair, which although seasonal is what I call Arizona's Disneyland while it runs, it is just east of Apache Junction, on the way out of the Phoenix Metro area. The second flight is from Payson to Falcon Field, a great, scenic route for VFR flight or for even a nice drive from Arizona's mountain country down into the desert, I've driven it a couple of times and it is hard to drive, the scenic beauty is so distracting! The approach into Falcon Field is the one I've flown the most in real life as a Light Sport St…

I'm enjoying the camera system in XP11 (it's the same for XP10 afaik) but I'm also showcasing some amazing donationware sceneries I just picked up. If you want a sample of this guys' freeware work go to the org and check out files by GPB500. He's done some nice renditions of Palm Springs, John Wayne etc. These are the updated ones though. 30 bucks get's you 13 airports. Here's a few! SNA PSP SBA UDD L88 TRM L52

Hey guys, I looked for shots of this scenery here and was a little disappointed that did not see any posted. I was curious about the scenery as I felt it was very much missing from the sim world (esp. for tubeliner jocks, Seattle residents and Boeing fans in general). I picked it up (just the airports, not the Seattle area...yet) and I have to say I am extremely impressed! I'll let the screens do most of the talking, but this is JUST Payne Field...I have not explored the other Boeing fields yet. If the resolution is not great in the shots its because I have to do a lot of jpg compression because these screens were big and I try to keep the filesize at…

I seldom fly the B90, but I thought I would enjoy a couple of sessions with it, in Oregon and California. Oregon is easy to distinguish, it is so green just out of Medford. I flew a commercial United 737 into and out of Medford a couple of times, nice airport. John
