The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Screenshots from Northern and Southern Arizona. In my Northern Arizona pics you will see the San Francisco Peaks, I-40, Sedona and Prescott. In my Southern Arizona pics you will see the area just west of Leroy Airstrip, where I took a couple of Light Sport lessons with a very sick instructor, and you will see some of the beautiful rock and mountain formations just east of Tuscon. ___________________________________________________________________________ Northern Arizona | ____________________________________________________________________…

More of the scenery I made using Ortho4XP, which centers on the western side of North America from southern British Columbia down to the Arizona/New Mexico southern border with Mexico. You will see the North Cascades national park (America's Alps, although some might argue that Olympic Park, Yosemite Park, or Grand Teton Park fit better). You'll also spot Mt. Ranier and Mt. St. Helens (or what is left of it, the only US mountain which became shorter in my lifetime). I guessed the day of the big eruption and stunned my parents who I was visiting with at the time when I firmly announced the eruption two hours before it happen. My premonition came from a vivid dream I ha…

I "did a few things" and just thought to show some pics of SF, after reading negativity that i cant really understand. For me it enhanced the sim in a not before seen way. Since SF also comes with PTA presets some pics wont have "Clouds" as main theme. Its about the whole, including the Sky & PTA it brings. Thank you REX Team.... this product is immense fun. And i feel as if i just scratched the surface.

Hey Folks, my first image post on Avsim. While cruising somewhere over Turkey, onward to Dubai, i was greeted by the most beautiful sunrise i had ever seen. The new SF textures are truly beautiful and the sun textures really breathe new life into the SIM. I just had to post a few shots for you to see. It's nice to see REX back in the game and bringing us this great product!

The Xplane11 Cessna 172 is so much fun to fly, closest in performance to the Light Sport aircraft (Fantasy Air Allegro) that I took lessons in, although the Allegro cruised faster. The flights shown include from San Diego to Ontario, Intl and an overflight of the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon looks magnificent using my scenery (USA 2 as the source) made with Ortho4XP. I've had hours of pleasure flying over my Photoreal scenery, which extends from the New Mexico/Mexico border up the West Coast to southern British Columbia. John

Ever wondered if having 22 cloud texture sets makes a real difference or if just a few are enough? Or which cloud set from REX Sky Force would be a good one to start with? Here is a rather random situation, obviously one with a few clouds in it (with thanks to Active Sky historical weather), which show all available cloud sets from REX Sky Force 3D. Of course different weather and time of day would make things look totally different, let alone different structures, but at least this gives you a change to see how at least these kinds of clouds compare to each other when it comes to sharpness, fluffiness (is that a word?), detail, the edges, etc. etc. etc. The screenshots a…
