Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Capitol Reef National Park is off the beaten path. I installed a network at a hotel just outside of Torrey Utah, you can see the hotel in one of the screenshots. I had a great room, on a lawn, looking right at the National Park. I was supposed to have a colleague join me there, I drove 300+ miles in a rental from Salt Lake City. I talked my client into saving money, and my colleague's visit was canceled. I was quite relieved, I did not want to do the roundtrip to SLC to pick up my partner. On the day I left, they talked me into taking a shortcut to I40. I was caught in blizzard whiteout conditions as I climbed over the mountains north of Loa. I inched my way thru …

Even on an OK system with middle ground settings (low tessellation, medium draw distance, medium detail radius, medium textures), v4 can still look like a million bucks. Much credit to Thopat, PTA, ORBX, REX, and ActiveSky/ASCA. Leaving KSFO earlier for KDEN.

Although I love flying over photoreal, I also love taking a look at Xplane11's default landclass, mesh, autogen, and nighttime lighting. Xplane enthusiasts have always challenged me to enjoy these features, and their input is very much appreciated.
