The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Last week I saw a screenshot of the GTN 750 being integrated into the tiny display window of the GNS 530 and decided to try and fully integrate Reality XP's fantastic GTN 750 into the actual VC. Before: After: I still need to create some kind of decent looking cover for the space below the GTN 750, but after many hours of frustration and trial and error, the Reality XP GTN 750 is now fully integrated in the Carenado PC-12 VC, complete with 3D bezel and direct in-VC click functionality. Cheers, Jerome

Been playing with the weather settings in xEnviro and Ultra Weather XP, with some good results: Gathering thunderstorm over Albuquerque: Sunset and shadows: It's the Addons that make X-Plane a better enjoyment. UltraWeatherXP allows for the draw distance of the horizon to be extended, thus allowing for a clearer less hazy distance that is typical of a not so far off storm.

Hello to you all. I would very much like to thank all the respondents, particularly Sesquashtoo, Chock, Jim Young among others for their input to a variety of threads dealing with screenshots and Signature modification. I think I have finally worked out how to put some screenshots into a post and I would like to start with the birth of my new baby. She is an FS2004 IFLY 737 BBJ3. After two years of looking I found a gentleman who was willing to put up with my strange requests and idiosynchroncies. His name is Bartek or "Holo" and he has done a few repaints for the IFly737. I have to admit he has interpreted my wishes beautifully and actually contributed t…

Back when the USSR actually was the USSR, the VC10 was a contemporary airliner, which is one of the nice things about flight simulators of course, in that we can fly old stuff which no longer takes to the skies for real. So, joining my Air Hauler fleet and awaiting a repaint in my VA livery is this good old Vickers-Armstrong VC10, currently wearing one of several variations of the transitional BOAC-to-British Airways livery which BA's fleet briefly wore. This is a good aeroplane to have in Air Hauler, despite it being expensive to buy in the sim at 60 Million Dollars, because it has a massive range, massive cargo capacity, is very fast indeed and can get in and out o…

Took my longest Xplane11 flight to date, out of El Paso to Chandler, AZ, I flew about three hours today. Last time I flew the route in real life, it was on a CRJ-200. Was not fond of the CRJ-200 because of the way the windows were situated, too low in relation to the passenger's point of view. They fixed the issue in the 700 and 900, both are superb aircraft, and have a more airy feel to them. John
