The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Must be the Navy version with beefed up undercarriage for carrier landings... I noticed it mentioned in the UK2000 EGLL documentation about the mirror system at a couple of the gates, so tried it out with a tiny plane LOL. A nice touch! Not an actual mirror of what's on the ground but still useful. Well done, Gary!

Just a thank you to Warbirds for his Connie repaints. I've placed the VC from the blue Connie (his shiny retro scheme) into the BOAC one. I used the alternative yoke colours (black yoke), but unfortunately I hadn't realised that the modified yoke comes with the green cockpit insulation. No matter, perhaps it'll catch on. Disregarding my mismatching of colours - nice job, Paul!

The Curtiss C46 Commando was one of the most well known transports used for flying "the Hump" (India - China) in WWII. Libardo Guzman's freeware C46 is a fun plane to fly, however "lite" it's systems modelling may be. Anyhow I wanted my own personalised C46 and thanks to Willy McCoy's excellent, generic-passenger C46 scheme, modified by myself, here she is:- Hump Time Heidi Obviously I had to do some research for her nose art: An hour of my life I won't get back surfing google images of pin-up girl nose art, not that I minded very much you understand. Sometimes political correctness is a complete load of pish..

This is a Frankenscenery composed of Ortho, OSM forests overlay (courtesy to Simheaven) and buildings/street overlay from HDv4. The result is very convincing, especially when the plane is moving:

Although XP doesn't have the best cloud appearances, they do have some of the coolest cloud formations. I've seen something like this in real life. Actually it was in the cirrus vision jet, my first ride where we climbed to VFR on top and the clouds sloped across our flight path. Anyway I snapped a few more enroute photos. This was a non realistic quick flight from San Diego to LA at FL300. Freeware G4.
