The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

@thibodba57 (Brian) and I did some formation flying in Alaska this evening to test out multiplayer flying in P3dV4. It worked really well and you can see we both had hot rods....mine being a civilian turboprop (the TBM of course) and Brian leading in the Pilatus. I look forward to more flights! We had the season set to summer and I have to say Alaska in the summer with Orbx scenery is just stunning.

Here is a trip to Phoenix from my home airport in my little CJ... When I'm in the CJ I usually have to wait at the end of the line for takeoff...that 737 got a ATC hold so I got to jump ahead of him! Liftoff from 17R...the AA farm in the background. Nice shot of downtown Dallas (One of those buildings is one I work at) In fact, why don't I just show you a shot from my window at work? (one of the dozens of SWA's that buzz by my window everyday into KDAL) That is the "building with a hole in it" right next to ours.) She is a good looking bird! Another glam shot, hehe. I turned the RXP GTN's screen to all black …

I took the dog a walk this morning up a hill and notice how clear the skies were. But when I looked over past the power station the weather changed at the airport EGNX. So clear skies north of it and from the airport itself it changed to very soft grey clouds. I thought there is no way a weather engine or P3D is going to draw clear skies to the north and be able to draw these very soft grey clouds and have that point of change over the airport. Got home and I was gobsmacked at what the combination of AS+ASCA+ENVTEX+SF brings us. If I had taken photos they would have been just as you see above. Insane! I wish I had taken them to show you.

Well.. almost.. both at Liverpool... and 50 odd years apart. 8000 kg of ciggies, (actually 11000 kg !) over from Belfast during the dock strikes of 66. Wonder if they were Chesterfields? Eh, Mr. Godfrey....? http://www.airlinereporter.com/2012/02/the-story-of-the-ace-freighters-lockheed-constellation-that-tipped/

I took the TBM from Denver to Telluride, now I'm hopping in the CJ2 for a flight to Jackson Hole! Snapped a shot of this lovely bird outside the property behind the fence as I was coming into the airport for the flight. Starting my takeoff role...man there are a LOT of biz-jets at this airport! Set the RXP GTN unit to display terrain for obvious reasons, hehe Glam shot of the CJ2, really like this livery. Since I had a co-pilot on this flight I gave him the captain's chair and I dropped in back for a few to check out the gorgeous sunset. Nice full moon as a backdrop Descending into the mountains, just coming up on the m…

Just noticed that when you do the SEEVR arrival into KDFW, you get these waypoint names that will be sure to make any Marine smile: (The) FEWWW, (The) PROWD, (The) NAAVY? LOL! And of course you also see LETHR and NECKK. Why there is not a MARNE or JARHED is beyond me. Also you can notice that if you're familiar with the GTN 750 (I have the RXP version), I've customized my User Fields from the default to add a button in the upper right to instantly go to the VCALC page and a Time to TOD in the lower right and the trip info in the upper left...extremely useful info when flying at FL420. Its so cool that it is so configurable to put any info you need ri…
