The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Somehow, someway, I finally got a dual overcast sky while flying in P3D using SF engine. I tested both AS and REX engines and I have to say, the REX engine actually was more accurate in my opinion of real world conditions. Plus, it looks great. I did have a minor issue with the injection of weather where it took all my clouds out for one injection, but after reinjecting weather, it came back looking good as ever. Not sure why it took everything out. Shot is over Wichita, KS. Only thing that would have made it better is if the ground textures would have snow on them, like in real life. Bonus: Heading south from Seattle to San Francisco. REX SF is sta…

  9. I think this shot was taken north of Nantes in France. Got caught in a 150kt jetstream. Not much turbulence though. (JS originated from central Texas according to SIGWX charts). (Nota bene: This is also why I prefer TRACK UP nav displays)

Hello, I want to show you a few screenshots of my latest creation. The airfield of the Georgian Aviation University in Telavi, Georgia. Unfortunately too big for the avsim library, but you can download it here for P3Dv4. A FSX Version is also available.
