On this flight, XP really showed its amazingly immersive ability, to give you to feeling of really being there: The windy and grey weather at Hamburg, with a pale light shining through a deep hanging layer of clouds. The warm and mellow sunlight of the setting sun at CRZ flightlevel, just to get you really working on a very windy and cloudy approach into Maastricht. After all these years of flight simming, I was absolutely blown away. I´ve seldomly experienced such a believable reproduction of atmosphere, weather and lighting! And…

Hi, prior to uploading the FS9 conversion of the wonderful Telavi airport scenery by Georgian Virtual Airports (available via Avsimrus.com), I tested the scenery with a flight from Telavi to Mestia (the latter is also available in the library for P3D and FS9). I choose a versatile Let L-410 for my flight. I always reckoned the A380 would look better done up as an Orca. This is how I spent the majority of my Sunday evening, embroiled in DXTBmp and paint.net. To make matters worse (initially) the paintkit files were photoshop ones. They have to be flipped before being saved as (in my case .dds files DXT5 format). I've learned a little bit more about repainting which is good! Anyhow here she is, the flagship of Orcasaurus Airlines, G-BIFT: "To Cover the World, You Need Big Units!"
