The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

;-) XP11, Rotatesim MD80 v1.4, JustSim EDDH, Aerosoft EHBK, Ortho4XP (ZL16-18), stock wx, stock clouds, MaxxFX, tweaked art controls. On this flight, XP really showed its amazingly immersive ability, to give you to feeling of really being there: The windy and grey weather at Hamburg, with a pale light shining through a deep hanging layer of clouds. The warm and mellow sunlight of the setting sun at CRZ flightlevel, just to get you really working on a very windy and cloudy approach into Maastricht. After all these years of flight simming, I was absolutely blown away. I´ve seldomly experienced such a believable reproduction of atmosphere, weather and lighting! And…

  10. Hi, prior to uploading the FS9 conversion of the wonderful Telavi airport scenery by Georgian Virtual Airports (available via Avsimrus.com), I tested the scenery with a flight from Telavi to Mestia (the latter is also available in the library for P3D and FS9). I choose a versatile Let L-410 for my flight. The traffic is quite "colourful" at Telavi, which is almost exclusively a GA field and home of the Georgian Aviation University: Caucasus main chain in the setting sun: Above central Georgia (Bazaleti lake in the foreground, Mt. Kazbek at the horizon) Beginning descent (Mt. Tetnuldi and Shkhara in the background) Lan…

Inspired by this Flying magazine feature (click link below), I hope to do more of these $100 burger flights: https://www.flyingmag.com/pilots-places/pilots-adventures-more/best-of-100-hamburgers This $100 Burger trip is to one of my old haunts, Flying W airport near Lumberton, NJ. About 15 miles east of the city of Philadelphia. Used to kick tires and hop on rides on weekends, as well as play golf at the nearby Golden Pheasant Golf Club. The airport cafe was more popular than the bar at the golf course. The cafe at the airport has changed hands a number of times over the years, and the airport complex fought itself out of bankruptcy twice. It is now quit…

  25. I always reckoned the A380 would look better done up as an Orca. This is how I spent the majority of my Sunday evening, embroiled in DXTBmp and paint.net. To make matters worse (initially) the paintkit files were photoshop ones. They have to be flipped before being saved as (in my case .dds files DXT5 format). I've learned a little bit more about repainting which is good! Anyhow here she is, the flagship of Orcasaurus Airlines, G-BIFT: "To Cover the World, You Need Big Units!" Dang, she's definitely a big unit Credits for the mascot go to Jonathan Picking AKA Weebl, and the animator Kreid. Here's a catchy tune of his which is quite fitting for G-BIFT…
