The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  4. Hello all, I have struggled with these problems now for quite a while and I can not seem to resolve them. ScreenHunter 7.0 (free) I have downloaded this programme many times. I have configured it to take shots using the print screen key and for it to download to a Drive D folder in my IDM downloads folder (screenshots amd Video) I set up a flight and at the appropriate time I press the print screen key. I get the subsequent camera sound and I am unable to take a further screenie until 8 minutes later when my flight is interrupted with the screenshot. That in itself, is very inconveient, but I additionally, am using 6 screens and it takes a mini photo o…

  10. This trip closely matches a trip to the Cayman Islands that six of us made 6 years ago. Fun to relive it so to speak through the simulator and add-on sceneries. I try to do this each winter Up off of KMKC and tuning east, leaving behind downtown Kansas City. Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas, on opposite sides of the Missouri river. You may see the Kansas river feeding in from the left. At the bottom edge of the screen, in the center, you should be able to make out a grass mall, home of the National World War I memorial and museum. If you ever visit Kansas City be sure to put that on your list. It overlooks with a grand view of downtown. It is a …

  14. This is yesterday's flight. Takes me a day to get the post done... Ready to continue our trek to the Caribbean with a flight today from Denver to Kansas City. Our day started off at the airport with breakfast at the famous Blue Sky Bistro. I tried the Breakfast Quesadilla and it was great! The Bistro offers a great view of the runways and mountains. Here is a view back at the Bistro, located in the ground floor of the main facility. Waiting for takeoff clearance on 29L. Now with (4) on board. Listening to departure frequency we anticipate a left turn to route us between downtown Denver and the mountain range. KBJC version from Orb…

I present you: X-Plane 11 Alpes in the snow: Taking off from Grenoble Le Versoud: (airport trees are not converted): Turning my nose to the high mountains. Lets hope the weather does not degrade: Looking back direction Grenoble: Steep valleys Destination in view: Lining up Touch down Parked, ready to sky:

So I try to make this trek each winter. First I leave from either Indiana or Missouri, depending on what sports game I last attended Indiana Hoosier basketball in Bloomington, or St Louis Blues hockey in St. Louis. This year it is from St Louis. We fly first to Denver to pick up some old friends who have been married as long as us. 46 and counting. Then back to Kansas City to pick up another couple I have known since High School. From there back to Indianapolis for yet another couple. Then from there we head first to Ft Myers, Florida. Then from there to Grand Cayman in the Caribbean. I chose the PA46T Turbo Prop Malibu for the legs to Denver, Kansas City,…

  24. This is a flight I did in the superb recently released freeware U206G (it's a 206 with a turboprop - find it at SoH or just google it). It's got dual GTN setup (and I've got RXP in mine). It should have been a simple VFR flight. But I saw a cold front approaching during the briefing and decided to go anyway. I decided to climb above the weather but that turned out to be a bad decision because I became stuck on top of solid overcast as I approached F62. I did something I rarely do in the sim, I did the 180 course reversal back to some sucker holes. Then I dropped in and used the GTN to find a path between the terrain and clouds to the airport. Rain also started up a…
